#Take the Quidditch barriers away when flying as seeker so we can fly freely and for all roles

Naw. It's a game bro.
If you have the snitch fly out of bounds, thus the seekers are out of bounds, suddenly you have two seperate games going on, where chasers and keepers struggle to impact the seeker game at all, instead of just struggling to find the seekers.
The other games absolutely didn't have you flying freely during Quidditch. You were following a set path of rings, in a universe all your own. This game, the Seekers and the rest of the team are constantly interacting.
What I’m saying is that we should make the barriers larger so we can maneuver around the pillars more easily. I shouldn't hit a barriers when I’m playing or trying to catch the Snitch.
and first off @sleek pier beater is a guard against the bludger. The Bludger is enchanted to zoom around the pitch trying to knock players off their broom (not Beaters) Beaters who protect their players by knocking Bludgers away and hitting it towards the opposing team's players.
Then its even says The Snitch is a small, fast-moving ball that can fly (anywhere), and the Seeker must follow it wherever it goes to catch it and end the game
@undone dew referring to specific moments in the Quidditch gameplay where the Snitch goes beyond the barriers, and players like Harry and Malfoy had to navigate around these situations. In the match against Hufflepuff, for example, the Snitch did indeed move outside the barriers. So, making the barriers larger could help address these issues and improve the gameplay experience.
Why did you tag me with this? I brought up nothing mentioning beaters nor bludgers in this.
And if you want to go lore wise, feel free to bring up the 150 point game ending snitch catch that makes the rest of the game basically pointless, unless there's such an imbalance between players that the snitch doesn't matter and is just there to end the game.
If you want to go programable competitive game, I think the way they have it as good. Sure the ceiling is a little low, and the boundary could go into the stands on some stages, but not all, like the world cup stage.
Are you wanting a fun competitive game, or a lore accurate game?
They need to follow the lore or don’t make a game they should a learn from others games and follow the lore first is what the die hard community wants. The sales speak for itself and it’s not hitting the mark like hp legacy
i woild only make it bigger so accupy the grades. but still. in terms of a videogame is not a good idea
You're comparing a game twice the cost of this one to this one, where ,excuse me if I'm wrong, I haven't played it, it has a real storyline, a free world to explore, and a very well done detailed hogwarts as well... to a sports game that isn't single player and needs balancing.
Could you imagine basketball with an extra 1 or 2 people on each team? Or how about baseball with an extra 2 outfielders... how that would make for more boring games...
If you don't accept playtesters reasons of
but you don't want 2 beaters on both teams. You can look at feedback of people complaining that beaters are to strong, or AI beaters are to good... or you could have everyone literally focusing the seeker down as soon as they respawn, because the snitch is so broken by ending the game in favor of the catching team that it's the literal only objective, and you leave the hoops open to try and kill the seeker at every point.
I dunno, that just sounds like griefing to me, and boring to play... I mean I don't play pokemon unite because of that specific mechanic (pokemon who evolve are griefable, and don't get passive exp so prevent them from killing mobs and they are 5 levels behind everyone else at the end of the game)
Also, is legacy even lore accurate? Mostly, sure, but not 100%
Does the use of the unforgivable curses land you on a wanted poster to be sent to Azkaban? Are there lasting relationships in there that change instantly because you start killing people for fun?
The Problem is: JK Rowling is not a gamedesigner! She wrote the game for a cool story but it was never tested.
Die you ever made a game? Its lot of work and testing and balancing. JKs "i invent a game because it sounds fun" never works for a real gamedesigner.
Often you can see the Problems only in playtests, not on the paper.
Or she was creating a game where Harry could be the star player, without needing to practice or be good at the game. Something believable as well, like flying fast, and seeing things. Instead of practicing and teamwork.
