So it is a vanilla setting for fire spreading or not. If it is enabled you need to be careful using lava as wood will catch fire.

The generated lava pits in forests make for awful forest fires that kill my pc.

Your iron farm is quite the mystery, everything looks right. Have you tried wrenching the funnel to point out and again to point in again in case you have an item stuck in your funnel?

Yeah looking at base create from what I saw you post in helped it looked like it should work.

If you can afford a brass funnel you can try that instead. But the whole point of that iron farm build is that is minimal investment for early game. Normally once you can work with brass you start to scale up.

Do you use a claims system? Sometimes to prevent 'griefing' it will deny create works from doing some actions like with FTB claims/maps

From what I saw on the pictures in help section nothing stood out too much. Although the whole thing is not in the same chunk the chunk border didnt seem to bad of placement.

Theirs broke because of the chunk border so the funnel and toolbox desynced from eachother

Chunk borders can do weird things to create works.

I don't think you mentioned it but Valkyrien skies has a known issue with brass funnels as inputs from items pushed by fans.

#

So something that also messes with block physics can mess with funnels accepting things.

ae2 does let you do things like refined storage. It also has some more complex things it can do. But I never used it much. I preferred simpler functions of refined storage.
