Once the server goes live, I'm planning on very close to /spawn, to build a bunch of different farms, wood farms, food farms, all of that, with auto drops, so people can come there, pick up what they need, and go back to their bases. In order to reduce lag over time, having a central point for a bunch of different things, instead of 20 farms from different people doing the same thing. Perhaps some of you guys want to join in ^_^

I think we don’t want farms close to spawn but the rent a plate may be useful to teleport to a displaced food bank of sorts?
Close to spawn for always loaded or just close to spawnpoint for convenience?

People can go to northeast, do /spawn, and grab what they need in no time
Its not for discouraging other people to build, experiment, and create things, its a means to lighten the load on the server by having a central point for a bunch of materials 🙂

not exactly, not everyone wants to have 12 different tree farms in their town, by having a centralized place to have those farms where people can grab whatever they need, it tremendously reduces the load on the server itself, on top of having people know where to go for whichever wood, food, andesite, and other things
