Yeah, a or maybe something like a maximum force tolerance for landing gear, so if you're going too fast horizontally or your descent is too fast then the landing gear could get destroyed or pop or something.
But something to make space planes and normal planes not be capable of landing 8 times rougher than a Navy pilot on a bad day.
That too, since you can go like 400 m/s and if you land smoothly they don't break. Also they could collapse if you do a Ryanair landing just like you said
Another thing is if you land to hard. For the entire vessel not to explode depending on the velocity. If you're comg 500 m/s wheels could overheat and break, your vessel would crash into the ground, currently if that happened the entire vessel would explode, what I mean is for it to glide and start overheating until it explodes or the nearer part to the crash would explode
