well I did make a "Intersellar" class Engine already but Fuel for that is gonna suck.

i got the weird skybox bug again, but an opportunity to see what planets look like without a skybox
so anyway, i decided i want to release the corsi system relatively early
i just watched the celestial bodies dev blog video for ksp2 and decided I may want to work on the textures more to make them more ksp2ish less than too realistic
so that being said I'm planning on releasing wocfmp 0.2.0a
now to wait for spacedock to have it uploaded
spacedock doesn't like 1.2Gb files so it's gonna be put up on github instead
note this is 0.2.0 [alpha] and I'm releasing it for proper feedback on future systems and the proper release of 0.2
it'll be up sometime today when I work out how to upload stuff to github

its because theres a seperate texture called a Packed Texture which utilises Height, Biome and Specular mixed together as an RGBA image

small update - progress on atmosphere LUT's are still going strong, doing a shit ton of research into everything i can find about Precomputed Atmospheric Scattering
few unity projects ive pulled of github were looked into but im still working out wtf im exactly trying to find to extract the LUT's
so you are doing the atmosphere scattering outside of planety?

afaik this github link is very similar to ksp2's LUTManager potenetially

i'm yet to properly look at it but it uses the LutManager for DontDestroyOnLoad and whatnot as well attaches it to camera properties or smthing like that, not sure how i can extract the LUT assets so far though
My main goal is to find something I can use or create to create LUT's from certain atmospheric properties whether a planets colour is red or green or blue or purple (really depends).
If anyone is willing to help contribute that would be splendid, that is if they have knowledge on c# or c++

now know how the hell you can add addressables to ksp2 from unity
textures on scala have been put into proper formatting
though running the planet into worldvis through PqsVisSetup - still shits itself and the game in general doesnt like it either

I am back from the void
To help with planetary development through unity (once i've worked out how to make everything)
I will be creating a full fletched guide + templates to use with both worldvis and reduxsdk

Currently what I need to work out is pqs issues with rocky worlds
at the moment I'm doing gas giant experimentation so that does mean atmospheres may have an appearance soon
Finally, atmospheres. 
no way an actual image of what a 3d texture of scattering looks like

theres a bit in the git repo i used (https://ebruneton.github.io/precomputed_atmospheric_scattering/) for changing the thickenss and allthat for atmosphere models
so i can say we are closer than ever hopefully to a proper atmosphere

Sooo noting atmospheres, they may take much longer to finish than I anticipated.
I am gonna go through the painful route of turning the files I have into something unity can read and then suffer to turn a bunch of 2d textures into a 3d texture
adding onto this I believe some kind of faster method to get out atmospheres can be a bit of contributions open, who would be willing to help out with atmospheres; I'll help out with any unity problems or stuff like that.
(you will need WorldVis Dev Branch and Ebruneton-Atmospheric-Scattering both on github)

so estimated mid november is when I'll pick up where I left off
this is a small wocfmp update - I'm planning on pushing back 0.2 for now bc I'd like to fully work out how the hell I port everything to unity first
I think the plan is when ReduxSDK releases I can externally port planety towards the project and add the fully furnished things from that
HOWEVER from testing I can see that creating stars in unity aren't actually as painful as you'd think and the main goal will be to add all current stars planned to be added (they will have different sunflares luckily); and then build off from there
the plan roughly
8 star systems (excluding Nese because its more of a planned star for a future updatre)

Hey everyone another small update from me in terms of how development this year will go with wocfmp..
During November i'll likely be looking into more unity stuff and creating planetary templates to publish eventually along with a guide for people to follow
during the last half of November I may look into finally porting many wocfmp planets over If I manage to get this far; whilst atmospheres may be subjected to be a final bit towards the release of 0.2 (estimated early 2026)
Adding onto this I will be revamping the look of most planets to a more ksp2 like style to fit in with the feel of the game.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - but I'm also looking for some people who'd like to help out on the wocfmp project
right now this years road map has been
#- October (Now)
mostly star development and a bit of tomfooler within unity
#- November
somewhat further planetary stuff and whatnot
#- December-Feb
hopefully ReduxSDK releases by this period but essentially this might end up speeding up the progress of wocfmp

wocfmp development is a bit slowish recently mainly bc of trying to balance work and school life
so yes this will likely go at a much slower rate however it doesn't mean I'm considering giving up on it

So, when you teleport to Corsi, teleporting to the lower distance will make ships dies
however, teleporting just few increment higher, and it's already teleporting us REALLY FAR from Corsi
(and teleporting even higher put the ships outside of Corsi's SOI and dismantle the ship)

And also, what happens is that, i lowered my PE, but i can't warp to PE (the option doesn't show), but the PE is at 13 000 years aways XD
