So, I am almost 16 and ive never had an actual crush on anyone. I think im demisexual coz i defo can feel attraction towards people but its only if i know the other person well or if we are emotionally involved. I have never liked anyone just based off of their looks (more like ive never had my love at first sight typa thing) NOW, a friend of mine, 'X'. X confessed that they had a crush on me for a while now, and i had always assumed I was straight but when X confessed i really gave some thought to my sexuality and I am 97% sure i am demisex. I defo like X in a more than 'just friends' way... but im unsure if i like them romantically or if its my attachment issues speaking and im just clinging on to the idea of liking them just to stay close... I REALLY NEED HELP GUYS!!

if you want my two cents, this “more than just friends” feelings could be something like alterous or queerplatonic attraction (or romantic! im not you, i dont know what you’re feeling after all).
if you want to go further with them than “just friends”, you could look into queerplatonic relationships, it may or may not be something that could work for you ^^

hello, thank you so much for replying to this... actually X and I have been doing exactly this. We just didnt know the term haha. Basically we've been holding hands and stuff but nothing more than that, coz ive told her that i wasnt sure if i liked her with that much intensity, so she respects my boundary, also i wann abe more than just friends but im scared of committment coz this is practically my first 'slightly romantic' relationship with anyone...
