I have been considering being female, and I am okay with being referred to as a female, but I prefer being a male, and I feel comfortable identifying as a male.

Well, even if you don't mind being called a girl, you're still valid as a trans person and can still identify as a trans guy even if you don't feel dysphoria being referred to as a girl. My partner is transfemme and prefers she/they pronouns, but also never felt as much dysphoria relating to being called a guy. They were fine with being called a guy and still are okay with it, they just prefer femme or neutral language and they're still valid as a trans femme
