Question for people that are Demiromantic or Aro-spec

I currently identify demiromantic(and Gay/Ace) but I would like to ask some questions to learn more about demiromanticism and to see if I still identify with that label.
How do you personally know you are demiromantic(or not demiromantic)?

Does demiromantic only refer to this definition—experiences little to no romantic attraction until an emotional bond is formed.
If there are other things it can mean, please let me know.

Is it possible for me to know that I’m demiromantic even though I haven’t experienced romantic attraction?

in my experience i found out when i was with a friend who i have known with a while and a ton of thoughts of “they are kind of my type” and stuff like that just kind of popped into my head and before that I have not really felt actual attraction towards anyone

Demiromantic doesnt mean that all of the close emotional bonds are attractions
