Workout?
NAHHH
Wym
Lift up some weights
Do exercise that grow the shoulder muscles
It’s kinda hard for me bcz I get lightheaded very easily when exercising but I mean I can give it a try
I was just talking about getting the look of wider shoulders though not really getting wider shoulders 😭 I know working out is kind of impossible for me
U don't do workout usually?
Nothing impossible
I have a question but i don't wanna be rude or offensive so I'm not gonna ask it
Not really because I get dizzy when doing sudden movements 🥲
Are u originally a boy?
Because I'm new to this stuff
I did say I’m transmasc in the title and it’s also on my profile 🙂
So I don't understand quickly
Don’t worry, I’m open to questions
It’s alright, I know this topic can be confusing for some folks
It’s alright! Thanks for the advice anyways :))
I'm middle eastern so that culture don't exist in here
Np
I’m Balkan so I understand this isn’t a widely spoken about topic in most cultures lol
Yeah good
Fellow transman here!
You can wear and style clothes in a more masculine way/ways that don't emphasise curves, as well as building shoulder and lat muscles. This can be done at home via bodyweight exercises such as pushup variations or at gyms/with weights. If you get lightheaded as you mentioned, you may not be drinking enough, or a number of things. If it's a matter of just not being used to it, then just start small. There's plenty of guides, reddit posts and YouTube videos and such by other transmasc creators. And if you have a binder, don't exercise in it...that's been the cause of my own bruised ribs and light-headedness.
Clothes-wise you probably already do, but I tend to avoid tight hip-hugging clothes. (So yes I do end up looking like I'm wearing clothes 3x my size ahaha but that's just my sense of style) In my experience, pockets (cargo shorts/trousers) can do a good job of distracting from hips and I tend to wear trousers/shorts lower (more around the hips than the waist). I avoid things like leggings or skinny jeans as well. You can also balance out the body by adding more layers on the top (I personally like to opt for some layered shirts/flannels and a jean/leather jacket on top). Small or tight tops can once again make your overall shape 'bottom heavy' aka not the triangle you're going for. But it is all up to you and if certain clothing choices make you happy but not necessarily masculine then go for your favourites. There's also numerous style guides on youtube/reddit/websites etc for transmascs.
Without T or consistent working out you may find it hard to get a wider-shoulder look. I know personally I probably won't ever get the 'upside down triangle' but i can get somewhat of a square and that helps solve my dysphoria. You got this man!
OMG I WAS NOT EXPECTING THE PARAGRAPH 😭 thanks a lot for the advice tho!!! Appreciate it
I think the lightheadedness maybe has to do with the fact I have low iron and orthostatic hypotension lol 😭 but maybe if I js go slow it’ll get better (mostly on me since I don’t take my supplements though)
