How do I know if I have a crush on my friend or is that just a normal friendship?

So I was never good at telling when do I have a crush and I think I might have a crush on my friend bc she is really kind to me and I just really care abt her and stuff. Idk how to find out if that is a crush or do I just care abt her like as a friend bc I care abt my other friends too but she is a little bit more special then them to me. I don't get butterflies and blushing when I'm around her tho, idk if you are supposed to get that around your crush. She is just like a little bit more special friend and I think that that's kind of a crush but I wanna be sure first. Does anybody have any idea on how to help me?

Yeah I think I'm deep in the friend zone. I never told her my feelings but I gave her hints and she reacted the opposite way so... yeah I'm pretty sure she just wants to stay friends.
