Hey everyone, I need some advice. A close friend of mine is dealing with gender dysphoria. She’s said that she might not be happy living as a man, but she’s afraid of transitioning and not feeling feminine or beautiful enough afterward.
I honestly don’t know what the best way to help is. I’ve validated her feelings and told her that she’s not wrong for feeling this way, and that there’s nothing “broken” about her. But I really want to support her, and I’m not sure how to do that in a helpful and respectful way.
#How to help a friend who is experiencing gender dysphoria?

Oh..... ok?
generally, just being supportive is the best option. Be kind, use her correct pronouns and name, refer to her however she wants. It's scary to transition, and having a good friend around can really help.
There's not much else you can do, I wish you both the best :))
Thank you very much.
