Well non binary people sometimes align more with feminine or masculine so I see no good reason why you can’t be non binary and still align more with the gender not assigned at birth

Yeah you can be both nonbinary and trans.

I'm nonbinary transfemme

Technically the Universal definition of trans is "not identifying with the gender identity you were assigned at birth"
It doesn't have to mean any physical or social changes

But a lot of ppl use the trans label to just mean "i wanna take hormones/appear differently at some point"

All ideas are acceptable
Labels can be helpful, but please don't let them restrict you.

You should do whatever helps you feel most comfortable, and live your authentic self.

You don't have to conform to what anyone else thinks "nonbinary" or "trans" have to mean

Being enby is kinda all about the freedom to not comply with any norms.

Of course, you can still Seem to be complying to some norms to people who don't get it
Or you can purposely try to fit into certain things

But the beauty of it is, it's entirely your choice.
Your body, your mind.

You can do and be whatever you like

Don't let anyone- even other lgbtq people -police you on who you should be or what you should look like

I've encountered at least 3 trans people who displayed transphobia

Mostly about policing people's appearances according to the mainstream ideas of the rigid gender binary system we're stuck in

People can be caught up in stereotypes and just not realize it, or be aware and just not care, using the stereotypes against people.

You don't have to Look "nonbinary"
You dont have to Look, "trans,"
And you dont have to Look, like a girl, or a guy, or anything.

Neither do you have to behave like anything in particular.

As long as you aren't telling anyone else who and what they should be, or do-
or physically or psychologically trying to forcefully control anyone ||(asking for their cooperation in honesty is not trying to manipulate ppl, plz be kind to urself!)||
-you're doing just fine, and way better than a lot of ppl tbh.

# opal bronze Yeah you can be both nonbinary and trans. I'm nonbinary transfemme Technical...

Also, I'm nonbinary transfemme,

and i use the term trans to specifically denote that I'm going to be appear different than how people may perceive me to be

This even includes lgbtq people
Anyone can have a perception that doesn't align with your genuine identity

Including yourself.

That's partly why i feel most comfortable identifying as nonbinary.

I don't claim to Entirely understand my identity. And I'm cool with that. I can learn as I go
But what I do know, is I don't fit the norm, and that's good enough for me to use the label. Even if its not an exact fit

I'm Definitely not a man, and not masculine.

But also, a lot of what i consider to be feminine, other people consider masculine, according to the rigid binary.

And really, mosf stuff i see as neutral.

I'm just mostly fem style and mostly like fem style things, and i happen to want to be more fem according to the binary- and also by my own, unique standards

But tbh by my own standards im mostly just neutral, with some fem flaring out

If it weren't for the rigid binary being the norm, I'd wear more of what ppl consider to be "guys" clothes, because i consider some "guy" stuff not masc, or even consider it fem

But i don't like being perceived as a guy or being called one, so i just stay extra fem in public and it works better for me
