So I stayed over at a friends house and my friends older sister comes in with her bsf
She just said "The ppl at school say we are lesbians..." they didn't seem happy but I didn't pick up on it so I grinned because at least the classmates aren't homophobic....
But my friend and her sister and bsf all get this sad look and the sister even said "glad this one seems to be thinking its funny"

Likely. Thats how it always was in my old schools too. Being homophobic is unfortunately a thing for majority of people. Heck almost all of my current school is homophobic.
I think it would be best to check up on your sister
