Wigs and cosplay

So I’m new to cosplay and I always feel really scared and insecure whenever I wear a wig does anyone know how to get over that?

Tbh, I don’t really know. It just feels so wrong and I just hate how I feel and look in them

Since i have the same with clothes of the other gender, idk if i could help much, but maybe just go out there, wearing it the best way you can, and maybe you will even get a lot of nice reactions

ah yes! conrode said the right thing! if you have a lot of good experiences with wearing wigs, maybe it'll ease what you're feeling a bit? like going out, having fun, maybe you'll get some compliments, and try not to think about the wig! think about how much fun you're having. I think it's a good idea, so you could try it out if you're comfortable!
