Like, 2/4 of the world is still with the same 1980s mentality, like dude, we are in 2025, stop hating on someone bc of how they are, i have read a lot of stories of people coming out or wanting to but the world treat them and the LGBTQIA+ community as an illness and not sometjing natural, its even more seen on religious people, religions that say not to hate on eachother but they still hate LGBTQIA+ people, like "im x religion so im good and you are a sinner for being different". But hopefully the new generation (along with a big part of the generation z) will be more supportive towards us, im not planning to come out as a bisexual people until im sure everyone in my inner circle is ok with our community (it will be harder with my parents, also sorry for the long text)
#Can we talk about how hard it's to came out in 2025?

I feel the same way. And being in hs, that sucks more bc everyone just judges
omg so true
being who you are is frowned upon in todays world

I am hopeful of some of gen z but not where I live most of the people in my state are as homophobic as they come that's why as soon as I can I'm leaving
Same
Like seriously, I am in one of the worst us states for trans people
Ugghhh I know. It's so bad at my school. My friends and I did a pride flag on our anti bullying poster and we are asking them to put it in a sleeve because we're worried about vandalism because that very much so it something the kids at my school would do.
It's so bad at my school

I think all schools are the same bout this, like, my school is a special school for people who live in a farm/dedicate to farm, so i think its worse than other schools.
At least my school is like a little oasis in the big TX, but still… my parents won’t let me wear a skirt out of the house bc they’re scared imma get like, rped and klled. And I’m scared too. We actually have homophobic people with weapons here
