He’s just been super dry or not really responding or doesn’t wanna do anything with me saying he “doesn’t have social battery” but he’s always doing stuff with or making time for other people. I tried talking to him about it and he just keeps saying he’s tired. It really hurts because he’s literally my best friend and idk what I would do without him but I’m really sick of putting in so much effort just to be brushed off all the time.

i think try to give it one last chance. make it an ultimatum if it has to be, if he doesnt talk to you and explain whats up then youre gonna drop his friendship. if he still wont talk to you then hes not worth the heartache. you deserve someone wholl respect your time and energy, not someone wholl lead you on just to brush you off /gen

Update: Thank you everyone for replying! I sent him a text that basically said tell me what I did or suck it up, be my friend or don’t and that I’m sick of how he’s treating me. He knows how important communication is to me and he even said the other day one of my biggest green flags is that I’m boundary oriented so I’m hoping he’ll talk to me. Problem is though like I said I’ve barely been getting any responses at all so chances are seeming unlikely.
