So i just got back from my dads and he drove me home with my brother. He has a fiancé (my step mom) And it was storming so i wanted to change the topic, So i asked "Any ideas for the wedding?" He said his color ideas and the song he was gonna dance too. So i asked "can i make a speech with (my brother) Because (Step mom) Said i could" Now. I do have a issue speaking kindly and with my jokes, But i feel like he didnt need to say "FUCK NO. HAH maybe if you dont speak the rest of the night" And used to his behavior i just said "well what if you overview it?" he said no again, He started talking about my outfit. i was already on the verge of tears because i did wanna say something about them. He started saying "your wearing a tuxedo too" and i asked (being feminine but not wanting to wear a dress at his wedding) "What about wearing just a shirt and pants like. a buttoned shirt" He than yelled homophobic shit at me. He also said that if i say anything he will beat my ass. As soon as a got home i said by to my dad real quick and went inside my house and cried. I told my mom that im not going to the wedding if i cant do anything. Is this selfish that i want even a small role in the wedding?

You are by no means being selfish. This is your brother being cruel. He is not allowed to decide how you dress (as long as it's formal), and definetely not allowed to threaten you. You are completely right to choose not to go to the wedding.
