I'm a lesbian nb, but I'm heavily questioning if I'm aromantic or not. I just fell in love once in my life, and I hate this. I just want to fall in love with a cute girl/enby again, but I can't. I want to kiss girls, date them, marry them, hug them, cuddle them, but I just can't fall in love with anyone. Can someone help me?...

do you like the idea of romance, but just never feel it in real life?

hey
first off—thank u for being real abt that.
what ur feeling is valid, even if it’s confusing rn.
there’s nothing wrong w/ u.
ur not broken.
sometimes love doesn’t show up the way we expect it to.
& it’s okay to want connection, affection, closeness
even if u’re not sure if u can fall in love the way others do.
maybe u’re aro.
maybe u’re not.
maybe u’re just tired or healing from the first time.
whatever it is—it’s okay.
ur still worthy of love.
& u’re allowed to crave romance, hugs, cuddles, kisses, even if the “falling in love” part feels far away or unreachable rn.
questioning is part of the journey.
& it doesn’t make u any less queer, valid, or human.
we don’t always have to have the answers right now.
just take ur time. u don’t owe anyone certainty.
i got u

if you think you might be aro-spec, try looking at some of the aromantic sublabels! what you describe sounds a lot like cupioromantic (the desire for a romantic relationship while experiencing little to no romantic attraction), but you might find a different one that suits you better. you can also always experiment with different labels, theres no rush. it can take awhile and thats ok, you never need to rush finding yourself and your identity 🫶

Well your sexuality is yours, and however you choose to identify is up to you. You can still Identify with being a lesbian while being on the aromantic spectram, which might be useful when discovering the label that suits you. I would look at some of the sublabels of being aromantic to see if they suit you, like suggested by others. However, it really is up to you and how you feel. I'm not an expert but I know that it will all work for you, I wish you the best.
