I'm really fucking anxious/nervous about asking my parents for HRT. I've tried several times and each time I try to say something the words don't come out. And I can try texting them but then it takes ages for me to work up the courage again and then nothing ever gets done and I feel like I'm stuck and I don't know what to do

Do your parents know your trans? Or would it be "hey Im trans can I get HRT?"

they technically do but I'm not good at reminding them about it

anyways the hard part is the anxiety

I normall write the final emails at 6 in the morning sleep deprived, then some barriers of mine are down

Which parent do you think would take it the best? Sometimes that helps in situations like this.

my mom definitely, but she does not have a driver's license and cannot get me to an appointment, so my dad would need to know

he's uh, not exactly the most accepting, but he's not gonna kill me at least so 👍

Tell her first, when she accepts it, she will let your dad know and will probably help you get an appointment

i just want to ask for HRT and i find it really difficult and idk what to do
