#

its when u can decide on male, female or non-binary so u say: "fck this" and u use she/him/them prouns and change whenever u like

#

true, but theres different types of ppl, like ppl who change it between every 10-15 business todays and ppl who change it everyday, theres not 1 kind of gender fluid ppl

#

I get it~

#

but what do u feel the most? Like female, male, whatever?

#

Hmm.. lemme think

#

idk, ig theres ppl with he/her pronouns but would they be considered gender fluid?

#

ohhh- it would be :0

#

~google lol

#

But just because u like feminine things, it always doesnt connect to being female, js saying

#

like ive see so many male cooks lol

#

being genderfluid is when your gender feels as though it changes/switches between different genders. this could be quick changes or slow changes.
Some examples of this might be :
e.g 1) In the morning you feel like your gender is very feminine and the idea of being perceived or seen as masculine/a guy makes you extremely dysphoric and upset, so you decide to dress in “girly” clothes and put on super cute makeup and if you have long hair, you do it up in a nice updo, but then as the day goes on, you slowly start to feel like you’re not really vibing with the outfit you put together, and then at some point of the say, the idea of being feminine and perceived as feminine/a girl becomes very overwhelming to you, so you go and shower and change clothes and you feel a lot better being masculine.

#

e.g 2) You wake up in the morning and you plan out what you’ll do for the day, down to thinking about your outfit and the activities you do. So you get up and you pick out a super cool outfit that you would perceive as a masculine outfit because you wanna dress the way you like. However as soon as you put on this outfit, you look at yourself in the mirror and you’re like “hold on, i actually feel like i might feel a lot better wearing something that i feel more feminine in.”

#

obviously its not only about clothes, but i see a lot of genfluid people expressing how they feel their gender is through clothes and presentation

#

it is not anything about deciding when you wanna change because you cant decide how you feel

#

and most genfluid people use He/She/They because pronouns dont equal gender and sometimes ppl just dont care what pronouns you use for them

#

other genfluid people might not even use all three of those pronouns. some prefer that you ask them what to use in that moment, and others will use just he/him or she/her or they/them all the time

#

it depends for every genderfluid person because everyone is unique and everyones perspective on gender is different. my partner and my sibling are both genderfluid of some kind! my sibling just uses the label genderfluid because they’re fluid between all genders, but my partner uses bigender because they are only fluid between girl and boy

#

does this make sense?
