Steam Asking me to install rec room even with steam_appid.txt in patch and in build folder.

Create steam_appid.txt in Build Location

Write 471710 to steam_appid.txt

Start the build.

Make sure you have Steam open when you open the build.
If Steam is not open while starting the build, it will prompt you to install Rec Room even if steam_appid.txt is in the build directory.

Not having Steam open could of caused your problem.

Mf you just create a text file and put the text
