i also found out you have a considerably large chance to miss auto attacks when dual wielding

hey all! been considering playing wow for a while now but the monthly subscription scares me. is there a feasible way (without spending like 8+ hours a day grinding farms, my limit is like 2 hours farming every day for my schedule) for a new player to make enough money in one month to cover a wow token? keep in mind i'm starting from absolute scratch, nothing.

there are ways to make the grind more efficient and bearable though

money wise though, maybe if you somehow got your hands on some of the best items in the game and sold it to players you could make the cut

but most if not all of those items are obtained through the higher level dungeons and raids

and leveling to that point can take a while

Callings and Patterns on one toon add up to about 69k, leaving you about 100k to farm in 30 days. Is it doable, ya- but is it enjoyable farming that much on one character is another thing entirely.

if you do the korthia weekly and alternate reservoirs each month that is about another 16k 35k, since they are each week

probably the best/easiest thing to do is just get two alts, and complete your callings every 3 days, do ZM and korthia weekly on both toons, plus whatever reservoirs you can. That would be close to a token

But there is a very similar model that can be acquired from uldir glory but you’ll need a decent group to get all the achievements

from what i have tested, it is because a lot of the time the mobs will kill you faster then you can tame, or your skill level is too low for it
you need to be the exact relevant level to the pet to tame it
this is from what ive tested though, im sure others have probably found a way to bypass that? but so far, my hunter at level 20 could only tame up to level 20 mobs

Mythic plus refers to mythic keystone dungeons. Simply put, they're mythic dungeons with increasingly scaling difficulty, with each week also providing different affixes that introduce new mechanics to the dungeon as well. Players get a keystone with a + rating that they can use at the start of certain mythic dungeons, increasing the dungeon difficulty to what it says on that keystone

If it's their first time, they should play through the campaigns at least once to unlock the next campaign and get things like general Shadowlands flying from the Chains of Domination campaign and so on

Campaign quests also drop a lot of renown if you still need it, and on future characters you can skip the intros and move onto the next one once done

Starting from the very beginning right of the bat is hard and confusing due to changes done over the years. Just start like most new players with exiles reach, go into BFA content until lv. 50, go into Shadowlands and play through it. Once you are done with current stuff you can return with fresh characters and use chromietime to scale a selected expansion for a better level experience and play through it.

what you could do is a castsequence makro which basically casts the bear form and then changed to do moon fire the next time you hit it and then reset the sequence. But idk if thats really useful at all if you have bearform and moonfire as seperate keybinds already or something

It's a good idea to play through all of the campaigns at least once, but you only need chapter 4 of Chains of Domination to unlock flying in the normal zones

You should also do chapter 4 just to remove any possible phasing issues in the Runecarver's Oubliette

This is part of the leveling content, so you're probably missing something very simple. Like I said, the achievement tracker tool can be very helpful

All I can say is kite more, use more of your CC and defensives, etc

And only being able to handle 1-3 at a time is fairly normal for glass cannon dps classes--that's why they have kiting utility

I did try that I watched some specs but the movements and timing is too much I can't focus on DPS avoid traps and mobs and all the other crap as well as press the buttons, it's ok I found a non toxic guild to run with who is not min/max hella competitive but I appreciate the help and advice

For tier set, any piece of equipment from m+ can be crafted into a tier set in the creation catalyst ?

The purpose is to have 4 pieces and then complete with two legendary and the rest random from m+ or raiding or whatever ?

Do you have to have an helm in order to get a tier piece helm ?
Is it boosting the current stats of the piece you want to change or stats don't matter and you get the stat of the tier set piece you want anyways ?

So I just returned to WoW and I have been playing through BfA content to get Kul Tiran. Up until level 50 I was getting like 7K XP per quest. Now I’m getting like 100-400 xp per quest. Is this normal?

The shadowlands quests are giving me like 8K xp to talk to people and the BfA ones are giving me like 100 to kill an elite monster

No, the covenant you leave will be exactly as you left it if you ever swap back to it--however, unless you have 80 renown with that covenant, you'll have to complete two weekly "loyalty" quests to rejoin

That's normal. Quests stop scaling in BfA up to 50, because after that the 50-60 progression is supposed to be done in the current expansion

But you have to reach certain rating thresholds to upgrade further so yeah just see how far you can go and decide from there. also converting an item to a tier set item isnt that expensive. flux is easily obtained so there is no problem with using low level items for the bonuses first
