To join group and raid quests/world quests, you use the group finder tool. If you look on your quest tracker to the right, you'll see a small green eyeball. Click that, and either join an active group or make your own

If I remember correctly, learning how to use the group finder is something explained in the Exile's Reach tutorial zone

Only way to access the raid without those is to be summoned by other players who are there

Raiding is pretty similar to wotlk raiding, you get a group, summon ppl, clear thrash, kill bosses, but there is personnal loot now, which prevents ninja looting

Having the current expansions gives you access to the current content and all prior content. Most people who play wow have the current expansion but it is not needed.

Enable the popular add ons first, like BigWigs and Details for example, and then one by one figure out which one is causing the disconnect.

It’s likely an old, out of date addon that is trying to do something bliz decided to block

If you have a lot of add ons and you’re coming back fresh, consider a UI re-do, delete all add ons and build a new fresh style

If you go to korthia you will get better gear from doing the dailies and upgrading the pieces you get, and if you do lfr SOD you will have a chance at some 213 trinkets, so i would suggest not buying them, but it is your gold afterall

But if you are really at the start of lvl 60(around 140ilvl) i would suggest buying a 230 crafted armor piece, and it costs around the same as those items

Classes that use energy/focus don't necessarily want to stick to the "Always Be Casting" rule. Read a leveling and/or rotation guide for your class and spec and you'll learn how to optimally use your abilities and spend energy, as well as when to not spend energy so you'll have it when you need it

@potent iris you can’t craft a rank 6 without having 1650 soul cinders which will take 3+ weeks to get depending on how much you get per week

So just craft what you can afford with soul ash, which would be up to rank 4

So a 235 would be a downgrade

Ye but it grants you a legendary power for your spec which is worth the loss of some secondaries

And it can be further upgraded so you dont have to worry about having a legendary that is worse than your current piece of gear stat wise

It's not a Glyph.
You need to have done the quest-line (https://www.wowhead.com/quest=32295/an-unusual-tome) then you can swap green/normal spells.
You can verify that you have done the quests by having The Codex of Xerrath in you Spellbook.

Talking to a guard for directions is one of the things you learn from the Exile's Reach tutorial. If you're missing essential information from the tutorial, I strongly recommend making a new character sometime in the near future to experience it again
