Other tanks have mitigation that prevents or avoids damage, blood dk reactively heals up after it - you will take a lot of damage, what matters is not dying

PERSONALLY I find no enjoyment going through quests on my 30th char I'm levelling

So I use that add-on, it's what I like

I either dungeon spam as tank/heal or just use AAP and do it while watching telly

In confirming something

I wanted to do a race that wasn’t worgen or panda or goblin, that has a starting zone that will get them to level 10 or have a decent area to get them their own questline

So like, I get confused like, goblins worgens and pandas seemed to have the longest starting zones that take them to their main areas, including dhs and dks

While like, an orc starting in valley does 10 quests, and goes into a zone that isn’t special to its own race

B-elfs I think is one of the better ones to do, that and dreani, I dont think that their are any actual starting zones like pandas worgens and goblin that are just for that race. like pandas get the turtle that only they can be on where as b-elves and dreanai anyone can quest there if they are the right faction. I havent played alot of gnome but i believe so. and night elf has their tree to quest in but again anyone can quest there if there are the right faction. I might be a little to far out of my depth here but I believe gnomes do have that zone that no one can get to besides them when they are created

Well it drops from multiple bosses and i dont even know if there is a loot lockout but you have atleast 2 chances per week which is more than for standard mount raid farms which only work once per week. if there is no loot lockout then you could just spam then shit out of toghast and you would get it probably in a few weeks. low dropchance like these on farmable mobs mean nothing

Hey I'm semi new to wow and have been playing for less than a year, I've enjoyed the theme and mobility around dh and I would like to start getting competitively into havoc. Thus far I have only been playing casually and essentially only worrying about ilvl as I've been informed is the general rule of picking gear. Regarding talents I've always picked whatever was on the front page of wow head for havoc yet I'm unsure if I'm truly reaping all benefits from my legendary (CA) etc. Previously I played ESO in high end guilds completing raids there, were there were meta sets and traits and that was about it, unlike wow were there are countless systems. Doing research on youtube was also not especially helpful as meta gear obviously comes from SoD while I currently only really have access to Korthia gear.

you can. Raids are accessed via 4 difficutly levels. LFR, Normal, Heroic and Mythic. Only for LFR difficulty you can queue and those queues are only open for the current expansion raids. Every other Difficulty of any raid can be accessed via the entrance but you have to obviously assemble a raid first

getting to lv. 60 i guess. you will get gear along the way through quests, Boss Drops and BOEs and if you are ready you can then Gear through Mythic+ or Raids and get sick rewards out of your weekly Great Vault

Just do the quests and you will be fine

The game just gives it to you through quests. Levelling campaign is 50-60 gear as you go, Covenant campaign is ilvl 197 gear, Korthia campaign and subsequent dailies is ilvl 200-220 gear

You reach ~200 ilvl just doing the mandatory questing plus a few daily quests

Then you can do m0 which is ilvl 210

Then after you got the easy gear out of the way just do your torghast, should be able to go to floor 8. Two floor eights is enough for an ilvl190 legendary

Yeah pretty much just quest for a bit. Covenant campaign is the best place to start, it gives ilvl197 stuff too. check out Torghast too, then there's the Korthia questline

After playing through Exile's Reach, on future characters you should be able to select the starting zone when you make a new one

and youre gonna make more than one character in your time playing so it doesnt really matter

just do exiles on one character, any others can go to racial start

i have a question is wow just doing quests over and over? i installed it yesterday and everytime i finish all the quests in 1 zone i go to another zone and they give me like 8 quests there too is this all game or like only new players do it?

queue for dungeons and/or pvp to break up the questing IMO

but yeah its basically just quests, dungeons, pvp to get to 60. then its a few questlines and you can start kinda focusing on hwat you like

Depends on server, higher ranks are more expensive obviously but still worth. A 190 or 210 is reasonably affordable without farming gold

There are essentially two stages of the game: leveling, and endgame. During leveling, you increase in level from 1 to 60 through quests and dungeons(mini-areas with bosses that require multiple players). At level 60, you enter endgame. You increase in item level(or ilvl) by doing M+ dungeons(timed, harder dungeons), raids(dungeons that require a lot more people), and pvp stuff
