However, my question is, if I delete/sell an item which increases my overall item level, will the game still know what my highest item level would be even after I delete it? I'm asking this because there are some high item level items which decrease my DPS shown via a simulation therefore there's no need for me to keep the item.

The point of ptr isn't to actually kill the bosses but to test them, their mechanics and bugs.

There are classic wow servers if you want to start the way it was originally made. Leveling is slow and i dont know where those are as they do time released progression. Otherwise just start with retail and then there are TONS of story lines to catch up on

I was doing a battle pet quest and there are instant kill gnomeregans at the entrance to gnomeregan. You can death your way down but that takes about 45 minutes because the distance from the graveyard
Googled for hours on that crap, found someone that says if you use the STV Gnomeregan entrance, create a custom group, leave custom group, you will end up outside gnomeregan entrance

the best for mythic raid and m+ is engineering and alchemy
for anything else, it's whatever you wanna do
generally you want one profession to be some sort of gathering (like herbalism) and another that crafts items based on your gathering profession (so alchemy if you're a herbalist, engineer if you're a miner, etc)
