Hi, I am interested in this game but I have some questions.

Is this game hard to get into, and is it mechanically challenging? Because I have Tourettes and sometimes my hand moves on its own.
Is finding a guild hard for casual purposes? Don't mind learning raiding and such but am worried that guilds only want pro and hardcore raiders.
How does PVP gearing work? Like are both players gear balanced and set to be equal or it depends on your PVE gears?
Seem to see many people complaining about Blizzard and recommend me to play FFXIV yet WoW still has much higher playerbase, am confused here.

It can be. There are varying levels of difficulty in game mechanics dependant entirely upon your chosen level of play.
Nah. There are casual guilds all over the place. Just gotta look around a bit for one that suits and fits you best.
It is entirely pvp gear dependant. There is no balancing. The person who has the better gear will almost always win, though it is always possible to outplay anyone dependant entirely upon your own level of skill.
People have been complaining about WoW ever since the game released in 2004. There are genuine issues with the modern game and the lack of communication between the players and Devs. Both games are very different from each other as well.

Yes.

Some zones cannot be flied in or require a specific achievement to obtain first. But if you can fly, this will let you fly at max speed.

Only if you visit flyable zones. If you spend most of the time in the Shadowlands, where you cannot fly yet, then you might want to buy it later.

If yes, just walk around the streets of the city for a while until you are approached by an NPC with a quest.

Yes, you will be able. But you don't talk to Chromie for that. Instead you just go to the old zones and do there whatever you want.

For its passive perks, as early as possible. Once you decide you are ready for some premade group content (which only really applies to level 60 people), you can switch your guild if you don't like your current one.

Even if you powerlevel your way to 60, you still need to complete the leveling storyline campaign for Shadowlands before you can even select your covenant. Then there's doing the endgame content itself

Last night a player whispered me slurs after a failed tyrannical De Other Side, I used the right click report but I got the message "player name is not currently online"

I went to try again but all his whispers and messages in party chat from the dungeon run were gone too. I didn't put him on my ignore list, and I can't figure out quite what happened, anyone know how this works?

@safe flare It's really situational. I'd get a ferocity pet while leveling like a scalehide or gorilla until you can tame exotics, then grab a clefthoof as they're the best solo tanky pet family

After that, it really depends on the content that you're doing because pet abilities are very situational

uhhh.. i guess whats new is that we now have a more obvious distinction between "sidequests" and "mainquests" since they are now seperately displayed via Quests and Campaign respectively and Campaign Quests have a Banner Icon instead of a normal Exclamation/Questionmark.

For Shadowlands specifically you have the normal Quests through all the new zones and then added on top the standard Story Campaign and then the Covenant Campaign depending on which covenant you choose to go with.

i guess apart from that its just normal questing

If those are low level quests, then you probably have low level quest tracking disabled. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the minimap and enable trivial quests tracking.

Death Knights and Pandaren were added two expansions apart.

But since the start of Mists of Pandaria, the long story short is: Garrosh was deposed and imprisoned, and Vol'jin became warchief. Then Garrosh escaped into an alternate universe version of Draenor. We had to go there, because his father's Horde was invading our world. We took care of that Horde and then the Burning Legion which tried to rally their remnants.

Then the Burning Legion tried to invaded our world, Varian is killed, replaced by Anduin, and Vol'jin is mortally wounded, and picks Sylvanas as his successor (and for a long time, nobody is sure why). Eventually, we took care of the Legion as well with the help of Illidan (probably the best expansion in the period discussed).

However, Sylvanas (and to a lesser degree Genn Greymane) start a new Horde-Alliance war. Horde burns down Teldrassil, which shocks even some among the Horde. Alliance lays siege to Undercity, which they almost conquer, but Sylvanas detonates Plague bombs, rendering Undercity completely inhospitable, even to the Undead.

And that's basically where the level 10 characters start with. But at level 50 it's time for them to go to Shadowlands, so they miss a lot of stuff in between. Long story short for that: Sylvanas is deposed, but escapes. The Horde decides that instead of having a Warchief, they will now have a council with representatives from each race. Sylvanas opens the way to the afterlife, and evil angels from there kidnap some VIP's. We must rescue them and stop Sylvanas from whatever she is doing there.

I think my Necrolords campaign might be bugged because I had to abort the last questchain (had to go offline). Now when I return to the place my questlog indicates that the questchain was reset (stage 1) but all the earlier quest objectives are gone and the step at which I was previously doesn't activate. Anyone know any help? I reloaded and all that kind of stuff already.

@eternal bramble It was 100% when BFA was current content. Typically, if a raid mount drops 100% of the time, they nerf the droprate heavily after the expansion is over. I believe it's 1% now.

Account based,you unlock the druid form in your orderhall like the other ones,and can use it on all druids from the barbershop,
However it has to be unlocked with all 4 screeches on 1 character
