Hey guys. Currently doing the Shadowlands missions and just finished The Captive King. The next one, An Echo In The Darkness, requires Redemption for the Redeemer, which is part of the Shadowlands Castle Nathria Raid, which needs a 170 ilvl to run.

I'm currently doing Heroic dungeons, but am at 160 currently. What are my best options for getting higher level gear (that doesn't require a shit ton of gold to buy)

Ok so I've completed the story line for Zuldazar and Vol'Dun but when I go to Nazmir there isn't a single quest to do. So I walked to talanji the emissary in Nazmir and she doesn't have anything for me to do. How do I start the story for this area? I believe the first one is supposed to be Deep in the Swamp.

I'm brand new and never thought much of realms when i created a char, it has put me into a new player realm with low population and i'm stuck on a dungeon Halls of Valor: securing the Aegis, there is no find group option for this dungeon but i die instantly.

Someone in newcomer chat said to go to a higher populated realm and ask in new comer chat there but when i switch realms my character disappears, what would you suggest i do?

there are many addons that can display loot on the screen. if you only want loot, then perhaps xloot or ls:toasts would be better, because msbt and similar addons are mainly for combat text

If you dont have access to chromie, you can start the bfa campaign and when you create the portals back to your main city you are able to use chromie

You can make characters with both, and are even rewarded and incentivized for doing so with achievements and mounts and stuff. It's also the best way to get the complete picture so you can see two sides of a story

Night elf and blood elf would be fine, and void and blood would also be doable. They hold about the same resentment, all things considered.

All 3 were offshoots of the original sun-elves or elves or old elves, if you prefer, that took to different sources of power after their innitial natural immortality was stripped, be it elunes blessing and the moonwells, or the stolen/corrupted sunwell, or the voidwell and literal void they lived in. The sides they chose and animocity towards eachother mostly all stemmed from a current leader/influencer's interactions with one another to make such a sharp contrast in beliefs.

It really dpeneds on your preference. Classic is a lot harder, a lot slower, a lot less forgiving, and a lot more in depth and maleable. To many it feels more meaningful and immersive with a more cohesive community.

Retail has many perks and flaws of its own.

Personally, i would say everyone should try both, and play the one you like more, and nothing says you cant play both, except maybe lack of free time.

That, idk about. I think the way its set up is that you can play wow up to lvl X with restrictions for free. But wow classic comes with wow gametime, so im not sure if theres any kind of trial account for it.

@fathom veldt you could also add the nightborne 👀 that the last of the 4 playable elf races in wow. They are basically the ancestors of the nightelfs that got addicted to the arcane and stuck with it while the nightelfs abandoned magic and left.

Also keep in mind that Nightelfs and Voidelfs are on the same side like nightborne and bloodelfs are if you really want to cover multiple elfs

Hoping someone can help me here. I am getting HUGE lag spikes that cause me to run in place and completely DC while in the middle of M+ dungeons. I thought it was my router so I went out and bought a brand new top of the line gaming route. Got home, fire it up, and again, same issue.

My MS is 13, my FPS is almost 100. Speedtest.net puts me at nearly 900mbps Download and 38mbps Upload. I have 32 gigs of ram, a GTX 1080ti ftw3. I have a good system, good internet, good router, graphics settings are only set to 7. How the hell could this be happening. And it's not just once, it's all the time. If anyone has any answers it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

maybe i didnt answer them because i dont know for sure? i didnt play back in cata and for glyphs u usually just right click them and activate them that way but since i dont know every glyph in the game i cant say for sure that this is the case with every one of them

but afaik glyphs are mostly just cosmetic stuff nowadays. atleast i haven't seen one with another effect then just adding effects to abilities or your general appearence

Completely new starting zone for level 1-10 characters.
New players now level from 10 to 50 in the BFA zones.
Players with at least one level 50 character can talk to Chromie in Orgrimmar or Stormwind to level in any expansion (Vanilla zones count as Cataclysm).
You can check each zone's scaling on the map. Vanilla, TBC, and WotLK caps at 30 (it includes raids). Later expansions cap at higher levels. Legion is 45. BFA 50.
Without Shadowlands the cap is 50. With Shadowlands it's 60.
Riding first learned at level 10. You learn faster speeds every 10 levels. At level 40 you can learn 310% flying (the middle speed flying is no longer learnable, unless you had it before 9.0)
Trial cap is still 20, which effectively is a much higher level than before.
All professions have separate skill bars per expansion. You can max out your profession for the newest expansion without worrying about older ones (but it also makes it harder to max out older expansions).

Death Knights used to start at level 55, and Demon Hunters at 98 (I think). If you created a character of this class right before the patch, you got a head start with levelling after the level squish.
