you can do just the subscription because the new expansion is not until level 48

In that case I'd recommend getting level 60 first and get some equipment so you can do it solo. The entrance is near your outpost in Zuldazar, near Xibala, but if you want to do it now, you will have to find some help the old-fashioned way, without dungeon finder.

The only time that the animal companion pet becomes a factor is for the AoE hitbox while using beast cleave, which is affected when using a cloud serpent or one of the large birds like dread ravens and rocs

For some reason, those larger hitbox pets end up having a reduced AoE range during beast cleave, which can lead to a dps loss

(although technically that also applies to using those pets as the main pet too)

At level 50 in BFA content you will start getting certain head, chest, and shoulder pieces that you can pick talents for. You don't have any of those if you are below 50.

I mean the best way ironically is to get shadowlands now

if you've been 50 for a while, the shadowlands questline will get you geared up pretty fast

you also end up at 60 by the time you end the introductory questline

Do you have your Heart of Azeroth? It's something you didn't need to think about at level 120, because you would get it at level 110, and thus many guides don't mention it. Now you get it at level 50 (equivalent to old 120) and it causes confusion for people doing old content.

@rocky pawn I'm not claiming to know which is best, as i have no clue myself, but just because majority of people use a certain covenant doesn't necessarily mean it's the best. The only way to truly know is have multiple people running identical setups (same gear, talents, enchants, rotation, etc) with only the covenant being different, and compare dps output.

The character is only ilvl 142, so I can't even do most of that yet. Just been trying to do the campaign and normal fresh-ish 60 stuff, and nothing has given me any renown except for the campaign quests that were coded to give it always

To be clear, I had seen many reddit and forums threads about people with similar issues and then a blue post that referenced a hotfix for it but I never saw the hotfix anywhere. And that was from maybe mid-January at the latest

The online consensus of the community says that this item is now only usable for level 40+ (not level 10 as stated in the item's tooltip).

UPDATE (weird): I just bought 5 more on a totally different level 20 toon (because my dumb brain forgot about this bug), and I was able to use 2 out of the 5 of them? Makes no logical sense, except if for some reason the item records "how" it was acquired. My theory about this bug is, depending on the level of the character that gets the Ogre Cache and posts it on the auction house, there may be a hidden requirement on the item that could change. Just a theory.

I see some servers are more populated but not that farr like others

I should choose a not so farr server but more populated i think cause till i reach late game it takes a lot of time i guess

Based on the map, you can have different roles to perform to ensure a win

even for casual schedules, doing pvp will boost your gear pretty quickly regardless since honor gear can go all the way up to ilvl 197 and conquest gear starts at 200
