So I've ran Exile's Reach on a lot of characters, but this is my first melee(Rogue). I feel really weak, I almost died to Torgrok, and I can't kill Killclaw. The key to success here is to NOT be the "tip of the spear"!
Mount up and follow the WEDGE formation of NPCs. They will aggro all of the enemies outside the tower, while you ride right into the first floor of the tower and only have to fight the TWO NPCs there and, after that, go upstairs for the boss.
I was using Stonehide Leather Barding so you may want to use that or a similar item.

Specialization in instanced pve content are either damage-dealers, who deal damage, healers, who heal people, and tanks, who force enemies to attack them
Classes have 3 specs on average
There are two factions, Alliance and Horde, which determine what race you can be, to some extent what content you do, and who you can interact with
Races are very very very close to entirely cosmetic
For your starting character, choose the non-healer speed that looks coolest, the race that looks coolest with that, and jam
Healers are pretty useless in leveling

hullo im trying out an outlaw rogue. Based on simdps wihtout raid buffs i should be doing ard 2k dps. However, im consistently doing 1.4 to 1.5k max on training dummy. one of my guildie said its common as outlaw has a high degree of RNG while simdps uses perfect scenerios for RTB. Your target has to be 90% of what simdps is telling you, because of interWeebz latency and PC stutter. You lose even more dps in real gameplay because you don't stand in one place like you were on a dummy and take into consideration that outlaw is not a single target dps spec. Learning the perfect rotation, movement and reacting to different situations takes some time, so be patient.

I made a mistake, I should have written 2 hours. Soulbinding it adds it to your collection (either by picking up or by putting it on). If the item is refundable, selling within the refund window will remove it from your collection. However, I sometimes found a bug where the item that is originally refundable will not be added to your collection unless you hold on to it for 2 hours of /played time, even if it is no longer refundable.

For example there are a couple cats in Mac Aree where you have to freeze trap them and feed them before taming them
