so cooking is pretty straightforward, you collect meat from beasts (normally meat that is useful have a white name, to separate from trash items that have grey names) or use the fishing profession to fish in any body of water, you then select any recipe you have on your cooking list, put up your cooking fire on the floor (or stand near any fire or brazier thing) and click to craft it

as you advance in the game tho you will learn that professions are tiered before the expansions, so your cooking skill is like "classic cooking" and will only be useful until lvl 30
then you will have outland cooking (tbc), northrend cooking (wotlk), cataclysmic cooking (cataclysm), zen cooking (pandaria) and so on, each one of those can be trained at the respective capital city for said expansion (as well as for other professions of your interest, like tailoring or blacksmithing)
you DONT NEED to level them up in order, if you're leveling in bfa you can start kul tiran/zandalar cooking right away and youll find those meats in that expansion's zones

Hey guys, for 3-4 days i'm working on my alt character to catch-up current renown cap. I reached renown 19 3 days ago but after that my character stopped gaining any renowns. I completed "Aid to Covenant_Name" quests, because they were giving renown but somehow i got 3 renowns instead of 4 renowns and stuck at 19. All i need is 1 more renown but i can't get it from anywhere. No dungeon, no raid, no callings or anything. Is there any limitation on catch-up system? Am i doing something wrong or my character somehow bugged with those 4 Aid to Covenant_Name quests (Because i had to get 4 renown but i got 3)?

I have a bit of a problem if anyone knows the solution here. I was doing an old raid last night (blackwing descent) and I was tired so I logged out in the middle of the raid (only did 2 of the bosses). this morning, I logged in and was in the graveyard. Flew over to the raid entrance and as soon as I enter, it sends me to a graveyard. Figured I'd try another instance. Flew to next on my list, bastion of twilight. Same deal. I walk in, it sends me to a graveyard. I reset all instances, relogged, etc. Any ideas?

Do you see the spirit healer? You could just resurrect at her. You'll get resurrection sickness but it will disappear after some time. You might use that time to do some non-combat stuff.

No spirit healer because I was alive in the graveyard but I logged out again, switched to a different level 60 character, went back to my regular character and it's working for now. It was happening for a half hour, as soon as I ask for help it starts working. IDK. But thank goodness. 😄 Thanks for answering.

I might advice that you have around 5 characters create your own guild and invite yourself and have 1 gathering in first 3 character "mining", "Herbalism", "Skinning" and have all production "Tailoring", "Leather Work", "Inscription" and dischant all soulbound you create in your dreanor garrison

all the 5 characters can be levelled to around 35 for recipes

you can level with pet battles without killing monster, 1 pet battle = 1500 to 5000 XP gain

I started by crafting the rank 2 ilvl 210 lego for 2k soul ash, since its still high enough ilvl that it wont be replaced soon and i can still upgrade it

Eagletons is a decent legendary, serpentstalkers honestly does not add a whole lot of damage but it still nice to have

I was thinking about just buying the rune vessel from the ah, but the price difference is pretty large. 20k for the 190 helm and 170k for the 235 helm.

Ahhh okay! That makes sense! So start with the 190 from the AH since I have enough soul ash to actually get the legendary, then I can upgrade it later. Don't just buy the lvl 4 from the AH, lol.

Anybody else having issues making new characters on exile's reach? I've been trying for the past week and each time, it continuously disconnects me on or directly after the loading screen. I have disabled all of my add-ons and tried, nothing changed. I've put in tickets and get zero help from Blizzard on the matter. Good evening everyone, i would like to ask for your help. Last monday I bought my very first subscription for a month. I reached level 50 by the end of the week. I was planning on completing the Zandalar quest line and then to play through some of the older expansions such as Mists of Pandaria and Legion(which are still pretty young i know). The problem is that my lvl. 50 character is killing everyone at lvl. 45 in 2/3 hits. Do I have any other option than to start a new character?

yeah, free up to 20, best way to try it out. You can subscribe later to get to 50, and eventually buy Shadowlands for 48-60 if you like the game

Yep, but that is not until level 48, so if you wanted to do 20-48 you would need a subscription, and then Shadowlands for after that
