In the future, when you level your second character, you will be able to talk to a character called Chromie. If you pick "The Iron Horde" option, it will lead you to Draenor where you build your garrison. Alliance's garrison is called Lunarfall. And if your character is level 50 or higher, you get to Blasted Lands and fly through the Dark Portal.

@keen pewter Cyclone can be used as sort of one, Mighty Bash can also stun and be sorta used as one..either will effect most targets long enough for somebodies actual interrupt will come off cool-down assuming you aren't bear talented and using incapacitating roar. Not True Interrupts but eh

The things that Horde's portal room does better:

Close to the main trade hub
Just as easy to get to without a flying mount as it is with flying one
Most used portals are super close together in the main room, making transfers easier
Main room is straight ahead, making "lag-induced indoor riding" more useful
More bug-resistant; it's just a room. No weird teleporters that may break in rare cases.

hey guys im about to smash my head in because im obviously overlooking something . got rid of my UI because i got bored of it and wanted to play with a blizzlike one again . So copy pasted everything and generated new WTF and interface file in WoW so I can start fresh .

my dudes i am stuck
made a new character today and was leveling in draenor when i hit lvl 20, i hearthstone back to SW to enable war mode ( i was in the middle of doing the intro quests for draenor) and now i cant get back. well, i can, through the portal to stormshield, but ill constantly die on my way there because the enemies arent scaled to my lvl
and for some reason i cant go through the dark portal ? even though support says that is the way to get back to the intro quests

so i used to play wow a few months back, i was a brand new player, i managed to get to about level 30 but, i played on my own with no friends. I ended up quitting because i did not understand all of the different expansions and which ones i should be playing and questing in and which ones i shouldn't and really what i was supposed to mainly be doing in general, i kinda just ran around aimlessly doing quests and thought that was the main idea, and got sick of it. They've changed the levels and the leveling system so it's more straightforward for new players now. As a new player you level 1-10 through the new starting zone of Exile's Reach which explains basic gameplay mechanics, then from there you will be given a city tour tutorial that leads you directly into questing levels 10-50 in the Battle for Azeroth content in the isles of Kul Tiras for the Alliance or Zandalar for the Horde. At that point you'll be ready for the current expansion content, Shadowlands, for levels 50-60 and endgame content. There are also numerous guides online and on wowhead that can explain finer mechanics and gameplay concepts as you go along

Yes and no. They all use the same armor proficiency, leather, but each spec needs different secondaries and primaries. You will need different sets/legendaires based on your spec. Not to mention the soulbinds and conduits. SL is proving not to be the greatest for players who like multiple specs. This is subject to change tho

I don't know to many activities in the game that take only an hour to complete and would feel really rewarding... pet battling and LFR maybe? Again my own bias because I want to do mythic dungeons and raids which require a pretty hefty time sink. Also, I look at it like, I'm paying money to pay this monthly, so would an hour be worth it to me?

yeah, race specific mounts are locked behind rep, unless you level that race or get the equivalent race mount on opposite side.

You shouldn't need to be? I don't think skinning scales on anything besides the level of the profession (or well, if you mean killing the things then yes, fully geared 60 will obliterate creatures for faster farming)

You can fly in most places aside from Kul Tiras and Zandalar if you don't have the Battle for Azeroth pathfinder achievement, and nobody can fly in the Shadowlands because it's still new content

Oh, and you can't fly in the blood elf starting zones due to a phasing issue

I am currently timewalking through Chromie in Legion to complete the Argus campaign so I can get some Allied Races, but I am stuck on a quest called "Where They Least Expect It". I am unable to complete it because I can't queue with anyone which is how its supposed to be done. Is there anything I can do?

Hi everyone,
Im quite new at WOW and i'm thinking of taking Shadowlands.
Although yesterday i stoped by Stormwind just to see the state of it and it was so empty i could hear the wind !
In all seriousness, i want to play WOW because it's a MMO and i want to feel part of a vibrant world full of players doing their thing, grouping and questing together etc...
So my question is, what is the state of Shadowlands ?? Is there a main city for the alliance like Stormwind where people gather ? Will i get to meet people while questing ?
When i went back to stormwind i felt like it was completely dead, and i dont want to be all alone in this giant virtual world.
What is your thought ?
