They do have uses, but it's minor.
The only one with a really good Exotic Ability is Spirit Beasts, from what I know.

Unfortunately, your observation is mostly correct. Trial accounts' /say is only visible to players who are close in level. I believe no more than 10 levels of difference is allowed.

From my experience playing tanks blood dk doesn't have enough multi target to keep aggro on everything (granted I wasn't max level)

I got a guildie who tanks M+20 or higher often, and he keeps aggro just fine (except with giga-burst DPS INSTANTLY on pull... but that's rare)
but uh.. Brewmaster is prolly the more forgiving one, unless what you screwed up was aggro related, since for the majority of beta most tanks had issues with holding threat (which has been buffed)

@prime elbow well but thats the thing, healing wave only heals like 15-20% more but has almost twice the cast time, while surge has a passive that lets it crit 40% more meaning it can greatly heal more than wave and its also far quicker so you can use it more of them on the long run...the only advantage I see form using wave is that it costs 50% less mana

@true lantern leveling up only through dungeons is one of the slowest ways to do it. Best fastest way is to level via questing while queuing for them as you like. The added benefit to questing for you would be access to additional battle pets due to roaming around for quests, and many quests unlock additional battle pets as rewards

I just boosted a character to lvl 48 and got put onto some ship in Icecrown to do "Combat training" and it stole all my spells. I got stuck with the instructor telling me to just practise my abilities on the dummy for the past 15 mins with 0 feedback or way to track what's happening. Any ideas? I have a Hearthstone but missing most of my abilities..
