you can't delete essences. the one you were using would have added a new one to your collection, that you can use for either major or minor. once you have an essence, you can upgrade them further through different methods.

Well, the only thing you need to know: don't pull enemies by yourself, let the tank pull and damage down those enemies. If you have an enemy on you bring it to the tank so they can easily pick it up again. And for the last boss, stand behind him when he casts "Pistol Barrage."
For the most part, dungeons will be relatively simple to do and learn. Around level 80 there'll be more in the ways of mechanics onward.

Whilst levelling, not really. Most bosses' mechanics might just be some damage to the party, an AoE on the ground, only a few dungeons whilst you're levelling will have a mechanic worth noting. And yes, but for the dungeon you're doing the only thing you need to know is to stand behind the final boss when he casts "Pistol Barrage"

If you go to your adventure guide and then to the 'dungeons' tab you can check which dungeons drop what items. Whilst you're levelling, don't try and do dungeons specifically for a singular piece. If you get an upgrade whilst doing a dungeon, nice! If not, it doesn't matter. Quests will still provide upgrades.

Gold you'll get naturally whilst looting enemies in any form content (with few exceptions) and if you mean from the Auction House, don't buy gear from there as it won't be worth the gold. You can easily get upgrades from quests, or dungeons.

Once you have 3 25s, you can capture pets in lvl 25 pet zones.

you just need to know every dungeon and each boss tactic, also you should know how to play dps so you know how to move things to avoid issues for your team - and you should be aware of what it means to heal so you don't cause issues for your healer
but a lot of people just went into tanking and winged it ... often causing a lot of frustration to their teams

@slow vessel you should not waste your cooldowns as a tank - it's important to have them in situation where you get overwhelmed by damage - you also risk to lure your healer into a wrong sense of comfort "my tank isn't taking any damage - I can help do damage" and suddenly you get shredded into pieces out of nowhere
in raid environments it's also important to have these for certain abilities as well

in normal situation while leveling this won't happen too often - it's mostly situations where an additional trash pack gets pulled, trash gets added to a boss fight or boss mechanics arent properly dealt with when you get into a situation where you're at risk of dying

there are achievements tied to "stories" and every story consists of some monuments/lore items spread across Pandaria. After you complete a story (so you find all the items tied to the specific story) you get an achievement and a reputation item is mailed to you, so you accept the quest it provides and turn it in for rep.

raid finder only queues up for LFR (looking for raid) difficulty which is the easiest. normal, heroic and mythic must be done with a pre-made group and going to the raid's entrance.
and yes, if you've done the raid on one difficulty, you can do it on the others, too.
