@fickle steppe Check your quest log whether you already have any Vol'dun quests. If the map doesn't work, see on the map if there aren't any available quests markers (exclamation points). You are supposed to first get to that zone as part of a quest where you fly on a pterrodax with some other trolls from your capital. Keep in mind that we are referring to the map in the pyramid, not on the ship.

Yeah, don't worry about that. That's the war campaign. Completely separate thing.
But if you did choose that, I would recommend to do it. It's not a long quest and you can get a new follower you can send on a mission. Talk to the captain of your ship to get there.

Oh, I've just searched what is that Keep Them On Task quest you mentioned. It's a Nazmir intro quest. It's probably what is blocking you from taking the quest that unlocks Voldun. In that case, just do Nazmir quests first and after you finish start with Voldun. You are supposed to do all three zones anyway and the order doesn't matter much. But if you want to switch earlier, then do Nazmir quests until you unlock the first flight point at least.

You choose a total of three times. The first time you choose one of three, the second time you choose one of the other two, and the third time you do what's left.
In case of the War Campaign (the ship) you choose once you reach certain level. If you finish one, you might need to level some more before you are given the chance to choose the second or third time. If you hit 120 before that, you will just be able to do everything one after another without waiting.
Besides the War Campaign, there are also the regular questlines. You need to do them even if you hit level 120 earlier, because it unlocks important stuff you will need later.

There is a mobile app called Blizzard Authenticator. When the game asks you for it, you must open it and either accept the login request or retype the code shown there.
You must have set it up in the past, otherwise they wouldn't ask you for that code.

It doesn't send the notification. Open the app the regular way. If you see it shows up the login request, click accept.
If you don't have the internet connection, you will need to type the code manually.

Definitely not. But I'm not sure what you actually did.
If you uninstalled the app, you should be able to somehow recover using the code you were shown when you installed it. (that you were supposed to save). If you lost it, you might need to contact Blizzard customer support.

You can find low level pet battling 'rivals' around the world - low level (originally) zones have low level teams. You can battle them once a day with your low levels to get them started
It's been a while since I really got going with pet leveling, so that's the best i can recall besides for fighting random pet battle spawns

Hello, one question. I bought the expansion with the level 120 boost and I'd like to use it in a warrior but I don´t know if it's better the arms or fury warrior. The thing is that I don´t want to lose that boost in a character that may not be good enough on raids/mythics now and on the next expansion (and I don´t want to spend too much time with a spec that also may not be good). I've watched some videos but I still don't get which spec would be better

Only warriors and hunters can, as far as I can remember. But they are only actually useful to hunters. With warriors it is because of how bows worked in the past, but they have no need for them nowadays, except maybe if you want to collect it as a transmog for your hunter or RP.
Demon hunters can't use bows, but they are the only class that can use glaives.
Some glaives are classified as swords though because they were added before demon hunters were playable.

Yes, classes can wield different weapons, but there are still restrictions. Not every class can wield everything.

Though "learning a weapon" is no longer really a thing (except classic). Nowadays, if your class can use a specific type of weapon, they can do it from the start, as long as you meet level requirements for that particular weapon.

The only raids you would require a group for is current expansion raids, maybe some raids from Legion might need a couple of people for higher difficulties but not a full group.
Once you outlevel them, yes. Like Vengir said, just continue on leveling up. It'll be easy to go through old raids for transmog or gold when you're max level.

Correct. Current level cap is 120, but with the introduction of Shadowlands the level cap will be 60. 50 without owning Shadowlands.

It does. A subscription would provide you every expansion except the current one, you'd have to purchase the current expansion separately. So without Battle for Azeroth your level cap will be 110 if you get a subscription (level trial cap is 20) which is still enough for raids like Lich King or Deathwing.
That said, Battle for Azeroth is fairly cheap now.

It was originally, but it's gone down now. I don't know the conversion of my currency to dollars, but I reckon it would be around 15-20~ dollars. The next expansion that you can pre-order, Shadowlands, would be around 40-50~ dollars. Battle for Azeroth has been out for a long time now so they made it cheaper.

Whether older content is dull is a question that there's no definitive answer to, too many factoring differences, so it's entirely your opinion and how you enjoy the game.
If you are interested in vanilla however, if you purchase a subcription for WoW you gain access to "Retail WoW" (World of Warcraft with all expansions) and also access to "Classic WoW" (World of Warcraft before any expansions.)
You will need to install Classic separately, however.

if youre ilevel 385 i'm guessing you just have benthic gear from najzatar, i really suggest doing heroic dungeons, world quests that give gear and what you can of the 8.3 world content since it gets you closer to trying out actual raiding and mythic+

With the 100% XP boost currently (until Shadowlands pre-patch), reaching max level won't take more than a couple of casual days of gaming. As for gearing, that all depends on how much effort you put into the game. Don't think there's any "best" gear as such, and there is no distinction between what is PVP gear and what is PVE gear anymore, other than their appearance. You can do nothing but PVE content, and get fairly well geared for PVP as well.

Warmode basically just puts you in the same "phase" as other players who have activated Warmode. Essentially you have both opted in for consensual PVP. Others might gank you, or you can gank them. You're basically turning the entire game world into "Everyone but your own faction, are hostiles and can be killed"

You can get, randomly killed by a much better geared player in the open world, if you are tagged as being in Warmode. This is possible yes.

You don't need to be in Warmode to do PVP. Only if you want to do Open World PVP (gank or be ganked). Warmode has the benefit of giving you more XP/gold from questing in the open world, but that's about it I think.
If you want to be a bit more balanced, then Battlegrounds / Arena is probably a better alternative.

And Arenas in particular, is probably your best bet. Can be done in grups of 2, 3 or 5 players, vs an equally sized enemy team. Often, these groups consist of 1 or more damage dealers, with at least 1 healer as one of it's members.
I tend to stear clear from PVP in WoW, as most enemy players tend to gang up on me, preventing me from doing any reasonable counter attack. Usually those players are far more PVP experienced than I am as well.

Think there's only really Shattrath in Outland, and Dalaran in Northrend being "sanctuary" areas. Not sure if that sanctuary status is disabled for Warmode or not.
Capitol cities like Stormwind or Orgrimmar, you still run the risk of being attacked, but the NPC guards in the cities will assist if you are attacked. Or if the enemy is attacking other players or NPCs.

@lapis knoll Make sure your tank is in the correct Specialization, and depending on class, make sure it has the right weapons/weapon combo. There is no specific "tank gear" other than some trinkets or other effects which give you temporary survival boosts. Mostly it comes down to having the right specialization for the role, and knowing how to play said role.

I main my characters on Doomhammer-EU, which is tagged as a New Player realm. No problems at all there. And I've been playing since the start in 2004 😛
@lapis knoll Not really anymore. Weapons are still specialization dependent (Intellect weapons for Healers, Strength or Agiltiy weapons for Tanks).
Damage classes are a bit different. Casters generally use Intellect weapons. Plate wearers use Strength weapons. Balance Druid/Resto Shaman/Elemental Shaman use Intellect weapons, while Feral Druid/Rogue/Hunter/Enhancement Shaman use Agility weapons.
But overall, the gear you wear (Cloth/Leather/Mail/Plate), will automatically switch main stat, if you switch Specialization. A chestpiece has Strength/Intellect/Agility on it, but only 1 of those stats are used, depending on your specialization.

@ocean comet Your laptop will have no trouble in the 1-20 level areas. They are really old, so they demand less. As you go up the levels, zones will demand more. And you will visit crowded cities which also demand more.
In short, you should be fine regardless, but the free trial won't tell you much.

Ah, you're correct. Just Legion and BfA, excluding Rajana and Uldum Accord.
At this point, they definitely should. There's a lot of factions and a lot of them out-dated. Their base gain should be increased.
