Prot warrior already has pretty great mobility with a shorter leap CD this xpac and 2 charges + intervene
The 5% movement speed talent is great but it always comes at a trade off for something
I believe the raid build tanks it but the m+ build opts for a bit more aoe cc instead, which i think is more valuable but honestly can flex either way to your preference

Hi, I'm a returning player and each time I've kind of come back I've burnt out at around the level 20-40 mark because for some reason once I hit that level, everything just takes so long to kill. Yeah, Sims don't give upgrades for actual healing. They only deal with dmg unfortunately, because it is hard to quantify Healing, since every encounter is different.

If you want more thru-put, get the staff. If you have another avenue to get more tier this week, get the tier piece.

But there IS a reason not to pick the hero classes first, especially if it's your first time through. You should stick to the "standard classes." The hero classes (Death Knight, Demon Hunter, and Evoker) have their own starting zones and experiences and can't access the same Exile's Reach tutorial island like everyone else. This can be confusing if you don't know where to go, and will lack a lot of the core lessons you'll learn doing Exile's Reach

That way you're not spending more than you need to, not having access to content you're not ready for/able to do yet, and have a solid foundation for starting your WoW career

1. you click on the enchantment then click on the item to enchant
2. whenever you feel like it. I go for it whenever i have an item i feel i will keep for a while (depending on the price of the enchantment i might wait a while longer.)

i think its self explanatory but you shouldnt waste your time with enchanting while leveling or on the first few m+ levels.

"Easy" is relative. I'd recommend either using the free trial to level a few classes up to 20 to see how it feels to you, or you can do a free Class Trial to test how that class plays at max level (as the difference can be massive in some classes). Either way, if you find a class you like level it from the beginning, do not use your boost if you've never attempted the class before--you need to struggle with it, learn muscle memory as you build your spell rotation, rather than jumping in at max level and having no clue what to do.

There is no better sparks. Sparks are what you need to craft epic items. Crests are what you use to have your item crafted/recrafted at a higher item level

Thats up to you. That might be a bit drastic tho because you can have the item crafted and then later when you have enough of the higher ilvl crests, you can have the item recrafted to the high ilvl for half the cost

When you have an item recrafted, you get to have the item you have sent to a crafter to be crafted again but up to the ne higher item level provided you have the 80 Hero/Myth crests. When you do so, instead of having the item completely crafted all over (IE needing sparks and all the materials in full), you only need half the materials the original craft needed and don't need any more sparks.

I need a little help - I've just bought PvP Season 3 Astral Gladiator's Paladin armor set from a vendor in Dornogal for 12 Marks of Honor because I wanted to use it as transmog on my human paladin. Hey there, and welcome to Azeroth from Tyria! If you see that small drop down menu on the bottom left of the talent window, you can choose the "Starter Build" option. This is a perfectly viable automated talent build that highlights the next recommended talent every time you level up. Starter builds are useful, totally viable for leveling, and give you a sampling of different core identity class and spec talents and abilities to give you an overall feel for your chosen spec

Once you're max level you can start worrying about other talent builds, but the Starter Build is perfectly viable for while you're learning and leveling

As far as handling your rotation, think of it more as an "ability priority" system. You can use the spec guides on wowhead.com and go to the rotation section to see an example of what abilities should be used in the right priority. There's also the built in "one button rotation/rotation helper" button that can guide you on examples of what would be best to use in order/situational priority, but do NOT rely on it 100% of the time--it's a learning tool and not meant to play the game for you

I'm looking to better understand the numbers in the game. From the looks of things, most spells/skills are just attack/spell power x coefficient. For example, rejuvenation is Spell power x 321.2% coefficient. Assuming no other modifiers, at 1000 spellpower, rejuv should heal for 3212 over 12 seconds, correct? Does the coefficient change based on level? Or is it consistent? I seem to be missing something because when I do the calculations, the number i'm getting seems to be lower than the tooltip. you want to have everything you want to cast on some kind of action bar. you wont be able to cast it if its not (except for casting via clicking in the spell book but lets not pretend anyone does that).
Your rotation is just the core sequence of spells/abilities that you're casting all the time with some other abilities sprinkeled in from time to time.

Dont think about it unless you are at a higher level. If you are ~80 you can check out the class guides on wowhead. Every guide has a detailed breakdown of your rotation.

until then: just mess around with everything. Read what the spells do and you might find our yourself what spell should be cast in what order. Most of the time its quite obvious

I am experiencing a bug with my character in World of Warcraft (Retail).

My character (Monk, level 24) seems to be stuck in a phasing issue in Orgrimmar. Outside the gates, there is an ongoing event with large green monsters, and since then the city appears to be in a broken state.

The problem is:

• I cannot see any other players
• NPCs are not interacting or responding (including Auction House NPCs)
• I cannot use Chromie or select any timeline
• I am unable to accept new quests

It feels like I am stuck in a separate or bugged phase of the world.

I have already tried the following:

• Resetting and changing Chromie timelines
• Abandoning all quests
• Relogging multiple times
• Leaving and re-entering the area
• Using teleport abilities (Zen Pilgrimage / Hearthstone)

None of these steps resolved the issue.

That does indeed sound like a phasing issue. Are you given any auto-accept quests upon reaching Org with a blank questlog? If you work through at least a couple quests in whatever phase you're in, it should send you away from Org (so the phase can shift) or give you a cutscene that will have the phase resolve behind the scenes. Not sure what else you can do without seeing the "large green monsters"

You don’t need to be doing 8s if your capped on hero crests

Dungeons are not meant to be solo'd is the issue

Correct, by default that dungeon scales up to level 35 and dungeons are group content. And yeah, it's old content from the Cataclysm expansion. Go back to the Dragon Isles and keep leveling there 10-70

If you REALLY wanted to do that specific dungeon quest, you can always solo it at a higher level

If you own Midnight then you're locked in for Midnight content now. You can go back and solo TWW dungeons later at max level with gear
