Hi, I've been on the website since before Discord becane a thing, but I'm new to the Wowhead Discord.

I've been doing Draenor stuff on my Horde hunter, that I never got around to after Legion and later expacs came out.

I did a Garrison Campaign on the Broken Precipice. An ogre invasion procced back at my garrison.

There's no way I can get help to do this; if I ask, everyone's going to go "stop wanting to be catered to." So, I came out of Chromie time, which allowed me to do it on my own with ease.

No sooner is the invasion finished when it re-procs-- the NPC is offering it again. A couple of days later, I do it again-- and it IMMEDIATELY procs a third time. How many times is it going to say there's an ogre invasion before it stops? Is it going to be infinite UNLESS I go back into Chromie time? I can't possibly solo it "at level," but again, there's no way I can possibly ask for help-- if I try, I'll be on every single player in the game, 's ignore list.

Will the invasions stop eventually if I stay out of Chromie time, which allows me to solo them?

Well, first things first. Will the invasion keep re-proc'cing until done "at level?" If it will stop, then I don't NEED to ask for help.

For starters, you can complete that garrison invasion in Chromie Time as it will scale to your level. You don't need to high score it to continue the garrison campaign. You can also have multiple invasions triggered at the same time, while only being able to do them one at a time, and they will last for the entire week. After doing that first one for the campaign they'll keep popping up when you kill a certain number of enemies in a zone

Chromie Time also doesn't affect the campaign progress at all

Crafting orders are realm-specific, and you have a better chance of getting someone who can craft for you in-game VS someone in a large discord server pulling from multiple realms and regions

Even posting in your realm's forum on the official forums would be more effective

All race, class, and spec combinations are viable for all forms of content and the best one is going to be the one you're better at playing and enjoy the most. Death Knights, Demon Hunters, and Evokers are the only classes not recommended for new/inexperienced players solely because they lack a proper starting tutorial experience for the game itself. Experiment with different classes and specs until you find the playstyle that clicks with you the most.

Experiment with different character combos, making one of each class until level 20 to figure out what playstyle clicks with you best and you're not wasting paid gametime figuring out what you want to play. Once you've figured that out, subscribe or add gametime to your account to level to 70 and explore more of the game. Once you're level 70 you're ready for the current expansion, The War Within, and to play current and endgame content

Could be any number of reasons from gear to build, but you should NEVER compare power below level 80. Classes and specs aren't tuned for leveling, they're tuned for max level

Level boosts are also NOT recommended if you've never leveled that class or spec to the max/boosted level in current content, either. It takes away any training wheels, throws you in headfirst, makes you say "I got this," and gives you your entire toolkit of abilities with no context on how to use them combined with gear that's worse than what you get from just questing

You basically have to decide what you want from the game too, what’s your endgame? Do you want to raid, delves, mythic plus, PvP?

How high do you want to do those things? Then basically find the content that drops the highest itemlvl of your desired content then try to attain that itmlvl

Remember your endgame likely won’t be the same as others

Yes, especially if you've taken a long break from playing. Try out the new starting tutorial experience on Exile's Reach, then level 10-70 in Dragonflight content (Dragon Isles) to get a feel for the current modern gameplay style

You can choose the Starting Build while leveling on the talent window, which selects basic talents for you as you level so you can get a feel for it

Don't worry about proper builds until you get to max level--and builds on YouTube aren't recommended. They frequently go out of date shortly after being posted

Make sure you've done or skipped the Broken Shore intro quest (available at warboards) and then go to Legion Dalaran. Hang out for a bit and a rep for your order hall will show up with a quest. I am having major issues with my Frost Mage on Spoils of Pandaria in Siege of Orgrimmar. It kills me after i've cleared 3 out of 4 rooms.

I tried not having Time Anomaly that sometimes use Icy Veins which in turn summons an elemental. But for whatever reason an elemental still spawn whenever I take damage or move floor and I can't figure out what is causing that. If that is the reason the boss bugs out.

Retail, just dinged first character to 80. What is best way to start getting better items for heroic and eventually mythical dungeons? Heroic requires something like 605+ and I'm 570 or something. Normal dungeons seem to drop only about 595 items.

Also, is it normal I sometimes get no items at all from dungeon run? I feel like half the time I get one item and the other half no items.

Normal dungeons are so braindead. People rushing them through so fast. I would want to get to heroic already to have some challenge.

In dungeons there is a thing called Personal Loot, so if you're lucky you'll get loot. I'd suggest keep doing normal dungeons and quest on the side until you can do Timewalking Dungeons or Heroic.

And now the dungeon wont reset, Ive left the dungeon twice, and logging out didnt help. The npc wont reappear.
I just have 3 groups of mobs standing there with the purple swirls. I cant move forward since there's bars in my way.
Anyone know how I can get this to proceed?

At one point, the game stopped counting the objective towards quests. There are multiple quests like "Tonk Commander" or "Human cannonball" but its the same with every other quest. I got the bullseye achievement for the "Human cannonball", yet the counter stayed 0/5. Tonk Commander stays 0/30 etc. I can not quest.

What i did: Relog, Restart the game, Turn off addons, Delete "AddOns" and "WTF" folder, Reinstall the game. So far nothing works.

It depends--soulbound gear is typically added automatically with specific gear saying to use to learn in the tooltip in noticeable green text, while BoE items need to be equipped. If you sell gear to a vendor (non-refund) you'll also learn the appearance too

All S2 items won’t consume a charge however the charges you have now will be “reset” since they won’t work for S3 items

it's possible for warlock it might be 5%, but for DK it's 1%

and I just checked in game, for orc warlocks, it's only a 1% added damage racial buff

Why are "Dwarf" and "Tauren" among the highest DPS according to the website "bloodmallet.com"? Could it be because of the passive that "increases the effects of critical hits"?
(If so, does it affect summons?)

I understand Orc, it increases pet damage by 1%, which increases the character's overall damage depending on the number of summoned creatures.

if its really taking a lot of time i recommend to cut some of those out. addon bloat can be a real pain in the ass.
