Hello, I got a quick question regarding the graphic settings

do these matter? like the environment detail and ground clutter?, If I put them at 10 my fps go from 160 to 70 fps, its a huge boost in fps

can I keep them in 1, or is it better to have them at a higher setting?

Ground Clutter is stuff like grass blades & flowers. I actually have mine at 1 just because it makes clickables on the ground very visible.

Environmental detail is just how nice textures are (I believe) such as the quality of the rock texture on a mountain.

Plater is showing some weird colors in the menu. Haven't really looked at it since 11.0.7 so no clue when it happened, but I recently reinstalled wow on another drive so that may be the cause?
Tried reinstalling the addon, tried disabling all other addons, tried restarting the game, tried a fresh profile, tried repairing wow-instance, nothing helped..

Any ideas what caused this, and how to fix?

EDIT: Figured it out on my own: It was Clean Icons Mechagnome Edition for 11.1.0 that caused it, no clue why

If you open your Talents & Abilities window, go into your General abilities and you'll find a dropdown menu with all of your Skyriding abilities. Hop onto your Dragonriding (now Skyriding) mount and then assign those abilities onto your action bar, if they're not swapping automatically

Yea I have added them to a separate action bar but it used to be a case that when I mounted it would switch my action bar 1 skills to the skyriding skills

If you're new just let the game hold your hand. Leveling is faster and more streamlined by default now than it ever has been. Just start Dragonflight content and go to the Dragon Isles and quest 10-70 while completing any content there you run across. You'll also be introduced to the more modern crafting system as well as Skyriding (originally Dragonriding) which allows dynamic momentum-based mount flying

Yes, you can. Use the dungeon finder tool to find a random group, the same way you should have learned to use it at the end of Exile's Reach

You can also onto the meeting stone for that dungeon and find the NPC right next to it to enter the Follower Dungeon mode for the dungeon, which will.take you through it with a party of NPCs

Are you under level 40? Checking around it seems that since plate classes actually wear mail until level 40, and plate afterwards, the game only thinks you can xmog plate armor due to unupdated code. That's why you can still mog your weapon/shield. Once you hit 40 and start wearing plate, you should be able to mog that.

Play for free for as long as you can, my recommendation being until you've leveled each class to 20 and are ready to decide what you want as your main character. Then sub and level to 70, then get TWW so you can level to 80 and play current endgame expansion content

That way you're not using up sub time trying to decide what to play, and you're not getting the expansion too early when you won't benefit from it

Also, if you're ever curious about what's included in which bundles on the battle.net shop, just read the descriptions. There are even checkmark charts that compare editions and versions to show you what each one includes

Would I still be able to join another raid on the 4th boss and will I be entitl3d to loot? Or will I even be eligible to go into the raid instance for the 4th boss w another new raid team ?

You are eligible for loot rolls on all bosses on all difficulties once each week.

As long as you’re not the raid leader you can join any bosses you’ve cleared before in the week. However if it’s a boss you’ve killed before in the week there’s a chance you would reduce the amount of loot awarded when/if the boss is killed.

I'm horde, was at Zuldazar, and could see it. Our other horde party member was at Zuldazar but they couldn't see it. That member flew to the alliance entrance and the portal was there.
I figure it has something to do with progressing through BfA because when you can see the instance portal, it's on a goblin ship. But when you can't see the instance portal, a regular-looking sailing ship is there instead.

sounds like an addon issue. any addon that messes with your frames or bars may bt the culprit. Make sure all addons are up to date as well

If this your first character then you need to do story campaign I think. It should unlock then. Or If you don't wanna do the quest, a workaround is buying the Wormhole Generator: Shadowlands toy on Auction House. Learn Rank1 Shadowlands Engineering in Oribos and now you can use the toy to teleport to any of the 4 main Shadowlands zones! 😂

I usually suggest Fungal Folly, its short and simple regardless of the daily story. If you get annoyed by needing to move a lot though, this isn't a good option. There are spores that if you stand near will explode after a moment. Originally they damaged mobs too, but now they're bugged and make mobs evade heal one tick.

Its also just one giant room, you can use movement spells to skip around a lot of it so long as you complete the objectives. Todays one is to kill 3 goblins per generator and power 3 generators to finish, and theres like 15 spawns so you can choose which ones to fight.

the dread pit is usually the one i use when speed running delves. todays goblin story is pretty quick too

it eventually unlocks, but it's a system to try and balance the factions in the sod realms, so idk how long it could be to unlock alliance characters
could be wrong too but maybe that's only in place in the pvp realms?

you should be able to login your original account as a "trial", it only means you see your characters and only login on those that are level 20 or lower, if you subscribe it will give you access to all your characters again, and you can buy the war within once you reach level 70

That depends. Do you already have a blacksmith? I prefer self-sufficiency, so if you don't have a BS, do that. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with Enchanting to disenchant random quest or dungeon greens as you move around. But really, you can do any profession you want

Blizz's thinking for many years wasn't "here, follow a main questline, boom you're done" it was "do some small quests over here, then that'll open up another portion of the main questline", so your best bet is to do every quest you come across. If you need help keeping track where you are, I recommend the addon BtWQuests (plus the Burning Crusade subaddon) to assist with completion

You already asked that Yesterday or something. No afaik there isnt. Dps is Something that wow doesnt track itself. It logs your damage etc but the dps that those addons Display is calculated by all the damage done since Start of encounte devided by the time since the start and each addon does their own calculations. Wow doesnt do that

Ok disc priest quesiton or two. How do I make sure that penace only targets stuff via mouseover on the windows or my main target and not when my mouse hovers over an actual character model. At times ill peance a character when i want to peance a mob and at higher keys that could be a wipe.

you cant, but you can use different conditionals like [@mouseover,harm,nodead] to only use penance on enemy mobs and not on friends

You can get more than one bounty by the way but it seems rare.
You have to use scrambler and also happen to loot one (and use it) and the same run find one at the end chest. Very unlikely.
