What’s the easiest way to farm anima?

It depends if you have some memories / essences from each of the event zones in your bank.
The memories are used to create essences which then are used as a 'currency' to power the ring but its no longer possible to attain those as far I'm aware.

Up to lvl 70 you can freely pick which expansion you prefer to level in via Chromie's timeline (she will be placed near the embassy in either Orgrimmar or Stormwind)

• If you still want to level in Dragonflight with alts, you should be able to pick what content you wanna focus on (such as WQs etc.) as long you have completed the main story on your main / first character.

Alright, the residual memories were used as the event currency, but there were also memories from each of the event zones (for example after each Zone boss you defeated) 20 of each memory (Memory of Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor & Northrend) is required to make into an essence.
The three essences are then used to infuse into the ring frame you have.

But yea now a days its possible to pick which expansions you prefer to level through, Chromie is near the embassy in either Ogrimmar or Stormwind. If you're in a Chromie timeline you should also be able to see it as a buff in your UI (icon looks like a watch on a beige'ish background)

Ever played a game that later on got a DLC? Expansions are "DLCs" for wow (except you dont download them individually or anything. Everyone plays on the same Client with the same data no matter what Expansion you own).

They add a whole bunch of shit. New Maps (Zones), Raids, Dungeons, Gear, Races, Classes, completely new systems (like flying, transmogrification, etc.) and much more.

In case of Burning Crusade that includes Flying, Outland and its zones, Bloodelfs and Draenei (+ their zones and Paladin & Shaman for the opposite faction), and a whole bunch of dungeons and raids.

The new Servers will begin without any expansion. Standard Vanilla WoW.

Read the guide for your spec and then think about how you'd like to play the spec and then choose addons based on that.

Maybe you don't even need addons for that because so much is built in in WoW these days. Really depends on what you want.

You are looking at two different things.
Professions are per Expansion. You maxxed out the newest expansions Leatherworking skill.

You can leave it at that. If you want to level the older expansions you can do that by crafting older recipes.

You'd have to switch the expansion in the crafting window to do that.

In terms of gear drops its indeed 'pointless' to do above tier 8 currently as 8-11 all drop the same ilvl loot.
However, if you want to unlock Zekvir's lair's max level you would like to do a tier 10 with revives remaining at some point.

The max level Zekvir lair will reward you with an achievement and a void kinda look for the delve mount. But as far I remember the potential gear drop will be equal to a tier 8 ilvl wise 😃

apart from getting groups to run M+ to upgrade gear, do you recommend any other ways to upgrade your ilvl? guessing delves are the way to do that

If you're running keystones from +8 you automatically get some good crests (Gilded Harbinger Crest) you can use for some high end crafted gear pieces which can also help bump up the overall ilvl of a character.

Besides of that and the delves you mentioned yourself I will also recommend heroic raiding if possible.
It is also worth to keep an eye out for the weekly event quests as they sometimes offer a chest that can drop some good ilvl loot after completion.

there is a weekly cap from the ones you pick up from skinning. there are treasures in the world that are one time pick up and you can get more from doing NPC work orders.

For Weakauras it's best to get a weakura that shows you what you care about, not getting a random weakaura and then learning what it does.

I don't know the weakaura you are using, but if you open weakauras options ALL auras of the selected group will be shown at the same time. That means if the aura covers every spec for the class and also covers tons of trinkets and consumables it then it will just look like that, it's normal.

You put every spell in your bars that is mentioned in the rotation, plus all utility spells. Then maybe stuff like potions, trinkets, etc.

If its just about moving the weakaura you should just move the main group, some packs have options if you want to customize them. But in general you should only edit them if you know what you are doing.
It's really easy to break them and will also be annoying to update them if you change stuff.

There's a difference in the amount that drops.
Bountiful tier 8 drops 150 Delvers Journey compared to a bountifultier 4 which drops 50.
Iirc you also get 250 Delvers Journey for opening a bountiful chest as well, regardless of tier level.

Because when you craft it for the first time, you have used rank one or 2 materials

When you craft an item, the materials are important because during a recraft, the game will remember what rank of materials you used.

But if you recraft it few time with r3, overall mat will be at 3 for your item

But it's not really good to do this if you have many unused sparks in your inventory

You will prefer to recraft it entirely

But for your craft, you can save accuity if you recraft it ( and not create a New one)

When I Say "few time", it's around 1 or 2 recraft at r3 before having "fresh" stuff

Depends on your itmlvl but crafted gear with enchanted crests if you haven’t done those, heroic raiding, and keys around ~10 itmlvl above your itmlvl

You need to do the "A Fresh Trauma" questline @sacred viper which should start at Magni Bronzebeard in the Chamber of Heart (iirc) related to the BFA expansion

Also keep in mind that there's new bountiful delves every day, as long you have the keys for them.

What I personally do is collecting crests and valorstones I can use to upgrade my gear pieces, and then ensuring I have the best possible options in the weekly vault by filling as many of the vault slots as possible.

Hey!

It really depends. A crafted item does indeed not have any upgrade tracks, that's where the enhanced crests come into play.
For example if you use an "Enchanted Gilded Harbinger Crest" and you are sure to get a max ranked item (depends on the crafter), then you will have a crafted item at like 636 ilvl

But to get your hands on that specific crest will require an enchanter to make it + some materials such as the "Nascent Gilded Harbinger Crest" which requires a good amount of the Gilded Crests you get from for example 8+ keystones.

There's also some Enhanced Crests with lower ilvl, but this example is with the super premium version in mind.

"Best" map addon is subjective, it depends on what you're wanting done. You don't have to track every quest at the same time. Go into your questlog and click on "untrack" on quests you're not focusing on at the moment, or you can minimize the quest tracker and only pull it down if you want to check something

If you're wanting coordinates, I use TomTom--it gives you coords for your mouse AND where your toon is standing on the main map, plus a coord block telling your current position for the main UI. Said block can be moved anywhere in the UI and locked, whatever your preference.
The minimap is supposed to stay mini, but there are addons that allow you to change its shape and I believe the basic WoW edit mode allows you to move it where ever you want in the UI now, so it doesn't have to stay in the upper corner

Yeah maybe they broke it again. I couldn't even start the normal questline and had to use the unstuck function because the very first quest freezes you in place. lol

But in general there were two things that made it possible. Either pick up the quest from Fatescribe Roh-Tahl (he has two places where he can be in Oribos) and if the doesn't offer it to you party sync with a fresh character.

But didn't test it since TWW launch, so no idea if it will work.

Gettingn an issue I dont see on retail.
PLaying classic fresh and when im in SW, theres flickering and i can see a 'line' while im running around. It's only when Im in motion though and it's the width, not a vertical line. And sometimes my screen flickers shadows.

Do the Withered Training whenever it's up. Based on how many chests you collect, it's big gains for rep. I also recommend BTWQuests addon (+ Legion subaddon) to check your progress in the major questlines in all Legion zones, so you can see where rep may be hiding in questlines you missed

hello WoW knowledgeable people I am trying to get some help in understanding how to bypass a minor bug, but one that has been around since the beginning of Dragonflight.

I have gone through the grueling process of unlocking the Legion artifact fishing pole, and then further unlocked the color customizations because I wanted the handle to be black. The problem I am having is, since the artifact pole is in the profession tool spot, when I go to the pearl in Dalaran and change it's appearance it doesn't actually change the appearance when fishing. Does anyone know how to get the appearance to actually change?

There’s always two up one resets with the weekly and the other resets halfway through the week (3 days and 12hrs from the weekly)

I know NOTHING about mage, so i want to choose 1 element and stick to it untill i learn.
