I have the weirdest problem across multiple computers.

I have been running world of warcraft on DirectX 11 because DirectX 12 gives me weird textual glitches. These glitches mostly show on my UI. I have a video of it.

Running the game in DirectX 12 makes it look like I have resample sharpness maxed out. But as soon as I tab out or walk this changes so it will look nice and smooth. I cannot screenshot this because the games sees a screenshot as a alt tabbed experience so it always goes back smooth.

DirectX 11 always looks smooth.

I want to run DirectX 12 for the performance but I cannot because the game looks bad.

Anyone any idea?

Sounds to me like some fucked up upscaling setting. Check everything from Render scale to FSR and try to set everything related to that to 100%, Native or turn it off if it isnt

Pawn is not a good addon. You have to update it's stat weights with a Raidbots stat weights sim, every new piece of gear you put on. It is mediocre and ceased being good several expansions ago

Most of the addons are really personal choice, rather than asking what someone prefers I’d would play the game naturally and then as you go “man, I wish I could do X or Y. I wonder if there’s an addon for it” and you can check curseforge or wowup and you can generally find what you are looking for.

A lot of people’s “must have” addons are like details/gtfo/dbm which all don’t really have a place until you are max level

RIght click your portrait, scroll down the dropdown menu to "Dungeon", click Normal, Heroic or Mythic while outside the dungeon you want to do, then enter dungeon. A flag should appear up by your minimap, I think it has a 5 on it if it's Normal. A skull for Heroic, a fanged red-eyed skull for Mythic. I think. My brain is a little fried atm

Anyone else having issues with World latency because of addons recently? World latency would spike to 3k randomly and stay like that for a while. Would have to close the game entirely through task manager. I've called my ISP. Put in a ticket with Blizz. Restarted my router(more times than I can count). Restarted my PC. Addons do not affect latency, only game preformance. Latency is the connection between you and the server host.

I had this exact issue once. It was my ISP sweeping up my connection and lumping it in with the average netizen during peak hours and throttling my connection despite the premium I was paying

Only fix was for me to swap to a new provider

Because my ISP refused to listen to my concerns and told me outright my connection would remain throttled during peak hours (When my guild raided at the time)

You can do that too, even at max level. Current game design is mainly to bring you to the most current content ASAP so that you can be caught up and then backtrack without being left behind. Boosts are best used on cross faction, spec, or realm alts of a class you've already leveled before

hey there. I'm trying to get the heirloom ring from the naval missions in garrison... All but one ship are maxed level, but the missions are all under 90% success rate. The ship that needs xp can't level like this.

you can swap specs and see if the gear follows usually main stat will switch depending on spec but not always. also keep in mind the longer the season is the less it matters. soon you'll be swimming with sparks. and upgrading items wont cost crests until you've reach the same itmlvl for new items in that same slot.

Generally you want a high/full pop realm just so that you have a better local auction house non-commodity/consumable and crafting work order economy. I would suggest playingbthe free trial first before you spend any money. You can play for free up to and including level 20. If you are enjoying that, grab a Sub to start with and level to 70, experience the game, experiment with different classes/races, play through older content

If you enjoy all that, THEN, buy the latest Expansion to play that. Do not feel forced into the latest content from the get go.

It's true and not true. Trying to pug Mythic raid as one of the "non meta" specs, is an act of futility. Pug culture attempts to emulate the top 1% of players whilst being the average, middle of the road kind of players in skill. Can all specs and classes do all forms of endgame content? Absolutely.

You just need to find a community or Guild with the same mentality as you.

Hello, I have a /cast macro to cast both spell A and B so that no matter which talent I'll have it'll cast the appropriate one (only have one talent at the same time)
My issue is that it's showing a question mark icon and I don't know how to make it display my talented spell's icon, any idea?

I’ve found some time to play WoW Classic again, but I’m a bit confused. So, there’s WoW Cataclysm Classic, WoW Classic Era, Hardcore, and Seasons, correct?

My question is specifically about the WoW Classic Era servers. Are they permanently open with no end? Do people just keep doing Naxxramas (and other raids) over and over if they want? Is there ever a server restart? Are there servers with fresh starts, or have they simply left the server open indefinitely? (Please tag me in your response!)

Ok, for that, you can click on the next tab down on the right side of the guild bank frame and if you have enough money, you can purchase it. The later tabs require guild participation in order to unlock

Also make sure they aren’t unique bags that you can only equip one of or specialized bags that can only hold certain items for professions or make sure they aren’t a reagent bag

Yes but also no. If no one else can provide lust/heroism then that's when MM brings out a ferocity pet--though it would be very remiss of me not to point out that while the dps difference in single target DPS will be minimal, your AoE will suffer. Some people dismiss/abandon their pet after lust, but the gap spent ramping Lone Wolf back up isn't worth just leaving the pet out until the fight is over

Always bring a ferocity pet along anyways, regardless. It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it

Most likely Dragonflight, since it's the default 10-70 leveling experience and will have the most people queuing for those dungeons. However, dungeon spam is not efficient for leveling and hasn't been since Legion

Timewalking dungeons are incredibly easy and gives a shitton of XP, but I haven't really mathed it out to see if it's better than questing
