Even during Dragonflight you could not unlock steady flight/normal flying until the last patch with the Pathfinder achievement. This is not weird, as that would imply it is not normal, which it is. Unlocking what is now known as steady flight for most expansions hasn't been available until max level and during one of the last content seasons

WoD required max level and Pathfinder achievement to fly. Legion had the same requirement. BFA had the same requirement. Shadowlands had the same requirement. Dragonflight had the same requirement, but also provided Dragonriding (now Skyriding) before that

Maby we are talking about seperate things...Im talking about the "vanilla" way of fying that wasnt dragonflying like when the mouns just flew slowly normal likethey always done from the start of when wow was released...now with dragon flight they forced this dragonriding on me and it was one thing when it was only the dragon mounts but now theyve added it to lots of other mounts that I own that did not use to be able tofly like that...I miss my mounts flyign "vanilla/esque" so yes its a bit confusing to me that you have been able to fly for one way for 20 years then they force a new motionsick way of flying onto half your mounts and there is no way to switch it of if you dislike it and wanna fly normall without dragon riding

Flying wasn't added until 2007 and wasnt in all of Azeroth until 2010. We only had Flying as it was in TBC until 2014 with WoD release and couldn't fly at all until late WoD when they added the Pathfinder achievement.

Could be the environment going by at speed as well. Can turn of a motion effect cause but not all. Just like colorblind modes dont cover every type. And could be mixed up with seizures too since nausea is on epilepsy warning of games and fence line flickering past window while driving triggered one for me 🙂

Outside a dungeon of course a mount, some dungeons allow mounts in certain areas

And if you see no portal you can just use a hearthstone (should be in your inventory, the white oval shaped item)

You can set your hearthstone to the inkeeper or some assigned person, just talk to npcs and find one who says "set this as your home" or so

Yes, although the Starter Build ingame is still more than viable while you're leveling and will highlight the next talent choices for you as you level up. Be careful when looking at endgame builds, as most of them require other talents or abilities or gear sets to really make them work and are thusly not applicable for use while leveling

Open world PvP is still a thing, you just join War Mode at the appropriate level and then are placed in phased world instances with other players using War Mode

You even get bonuses for questing and leveling while in War Mode

There is a bug in the horde, the mission indicator marks me under the ground and in the alliance the ship that takes you to the island does not appear, but the npcs do appear but it does not let you interact with them.

yes, every wow expansion will divide their campaign in leveling campaign and endgame campaign, for example for BfA the leveling campaign will take you through the 3 leveling zones (Tiragarde, Drustvar, Stormsong for alliance for example) and its endgame campaign will have you earn the heart of azeroth, go to nazjatar then uldum/vale during N'Zoth assaults

Similarly for DF its leveling campaign will take you through the 4 zones, ending in thaldraszus after you do the time tour with chromie and eternus, then you return to alextrasza in valdrakken, at lvl 70 you'll get the endgame campaign for forbidden reach, zaralek caverns and emerald dream

So just to follow up on this. Yes, Mr. Otto appears when you put down his fish barrel, he walks to it, picks it up (I guess) and leaves/disappearsin just a few seconds, leaving you without your mount. During those few seconds you have to click on him as he is moving to get him to offer you the final quest. It's kind of a game in itself to catch him. A single misclick might be enough to not trigger his quest and cause you to spend another 2 hours fishing to fill the barrel again.

It's very strange that the otherwise excellent wowhead article about obtaining this mount completely leaves off this incredibly important step.

Nerubians aren't themselves that old. During the Black Empire, the Nerubians, Qiraji, Mantid, etc, didn't exist. They were all still the Akir, an insectoid race spawned by the Old Gods biomass. The best tips I can give to you is to watch some video about Lore. Like Nobbel87 on Youtube (He have created some playlist). And after, you have Platinum for more specific aspect of the Lore.

Then it dawn to me... I'm locked some how in the Tides of War that you normally get with Captian Garrick once you done Exile's Reach. Mix of factors, but yes, outleveled gear can cause performance issues. However also take into account that most tuning and balancing occurs with max level in mind, and some things are busted and relatively variable during the leveling process. Don't look at numbers or worry about damage that much, you want to focus more on gameplay and ability priority and general mechanics performance

Hunter pets pretty much auto attack aside from if you have kill command and such. They're really just npcs for you

My Significant other is wanting to play WoW with me but it will be a fresh account.
This will lock out Chromie Time as a new account needs to reach level 60 before its unlocked.
I would rather not play through BFA, we looked at the expansions and she wanted to play Mists of Pandaria.

If the account plays Mop Remixed to level 70 and it gets converted on the 19th to a normal retail character
Will this allow for Chromie Time as it technically has a level 70 present on the account?

What achievement unlocks chromie time or is there just an internal flag?
Would it be safe to level to 59 on 1 char and 70 on another char just incase there is a flag stipulating you have to level to 70 in the retail enviorment.

Pretty sure Chromie time isn’t locked like that anymore

But also the default lvl expansion is DF now

But I’m pretty sure Chromie time is just unlocked now after doing exiles reach then completing the “tour the city” quest after making to your factions capital

i mean even back in the day I just suggested people to create a class trial character to unlock chromie time, there were several workarounds it didnt care for how you achieved level 60

I was told that was patched fairly quickly

Other method I saw was on free weekends for DF creating an evoker and that would unlock it

even if you're locked to any given expansion, doing the intro quest until you get an achievement to pop normally is enough to unlock you, at this point you can port to SW/Org and talk to chromie again

You aren't locked to any given expansion with chromie time. All it does is show you how to start questing in whichever expansion you pick. Most intro quests can be done anywhere anytime

Start playing, do quests. Do dungeons, then take your dailies from the bazaar at about lv...15? Later you can lfr too, which awards 7% bonus exp. Quest while queued.

I think raids open at lv25

By lv70 they'll give you bronze reward of a few thousand bronze, 40k total i think

In the Myth+ section of it it says no points in crusaders aura but if im trying to respecc i cant get rid of it somehow.
