As we approach Shadowlands Season 1, it is important to highlight that Leviathan's Eye gems are still the best gems to be used by most specs. Leviathan's Eyes come from BFA Jewelcrafting and provide +18 primary stat instead of +16 secondary stat from Shadowlands gems. The only downside to this is that you can only equip one gem, as they are unique equipped.
A new week is starting in WoW, and with it, two new Torghast wings are available to run: Fracture Chambers and Mort'regar!
It's the second week of Shadowlands and that means that the cap for Renown has increased -- this time to Renown 6! This will unlock Chapter 3 of the Covenant Campaign, a brand new Soulbind, a new Adventurer for the Mission Table and the ability to purchase your first piece of Covenant specific transmog!

Besides offering simulation tools for all DPS classes and specs, the site now offers options for users to create personalized sims.
On NA servers, the Shadehound Hunt was swapped for the Soul Eaters Hunt in the Maw, which indicates that Beastwarrens Hunts are likely on a similar schedule to Invasions, resetting half way through the week. Players have been highlighting their experiences in Torghast, ranging from hilarious boss kills fueled by ridiculous anima powers to downright disastrous results. With many players finding this week's wings significantly harder than the last, there have been a number of community discussions on how to be successful inside Torghast, sharing tips and showcasing some of the overpowered builds possible if you get the right powers.
On NA servers, the Soul Eaters was swapped for the Death Elemental Hunt in the Maw. Beast Warrens's Hunt follows a similar pattern from Visions of N'zoth Invasions, resetting half way through the week. For this week, the Darkmoon Faire is back in town, allowing players to get 10% more reputation with Ven'ari.
With the weekly reset, players will once again be able to do the weekly quest, Return Lost Souls, awarding 5 more Redeemed Souls with which to upgrade their Covenant Sanctums. With a total of 15 earned so far in the expansion, players should have each of the four primary Covenant activities unlocked, but none yet upgraded to the second tier.
Another NPC last seen in Classic has been found in the Shadowlands. Heralath Fallowbrook was a quest giver that could be found dying from their wounds in Razorfen Kraul. They would beg Alliance players to recover a pendant - stolen from them by the Quilboar - and bring it to their wife, Treshala Fallowbrook, in Darnassus.
Within two days of Shadowlands Season One, a team has managed to complete the very first +15 Mythic Dungeon within time! We've datamined some Shadowlands hotfixes that have been made to live servers, which contains many last minute tuning changes to Mythic Castle Nathria on the night before the Race to World First begins! This includes big buffs to Mythic Sun King's Salvation, Mythic Stone Legion Generals and other tuning changes!
The Raider.IO Discord Alerts have announced that this week's Mythic+ affixes are Tyrannical, Bolstering, Storming and Prideful! This will be the first time that players will get to play the new Storming affix on live servers, which will be more difficult for melee players. Mythic+ will also scale to Item Level 210 from the end-of-dungeon chest this week with these affixes.

Necrotic Wake is one of the hardest dungeons in Shadowlands in Mythic+, and that means that players have been making strategies to make it easier. This is another Fortified week in Shadowlands Mythic+ Season 1 and we wanted to look at how hard the dungeons are this week in Shadowlands. Many of these dungeons are much easier on Fortified, but there are some more complications this week with the combination of Spiteful and Grievous. We wanted to highlight the easiest dungeons to try to complete this week!
Shadowlands is in full swing, and despite initial concerns over covenants, all have been fairly well represented in every major aspect of gameplay. One of the newest Battle Pets added in Shadowlands is Will of Remornia, which has a low chance to drop from Sire Denathrius in Castle Nathria. Reddit user Throwing_Castles has discovered that the Will of Remornia Battle Pet has an unusual effect: it can kill the Anima Wyrms by the Flight Path in Oribos!

Necrotic can be a nasty affix for Tanks in Shadowlands Mythic+, but if you're a Kyrian Tank, you'll have an advantage in Mythic+ this week. The Necrotic Wound debuff counts as a Bleed effect so Kyrian's Phial of Serenity can remove it and Kleia's Soulbind can make you completely immune to Necrotic for 8 seconds!

Senior Character Artist Jon McConnell has posted some 3D Character Art from Shadowlands on Artstation including Bolvar Fordragon and Sire Denathrius.
This next reset, players that have been keeping up with Bolvar quests in Oribos and Torghast will be able to unlock the Twisting Corridors wing in the Tower of the Damned. Unlike other multi-week quest chains, there is no catch up, so players taht haven't completed each weekly quest will have to wait to venture to the Twisting Corridors, as only one quest is available each week.

Shadowlands Art Blast: Oribos with Senior Dungeon Environment Artist Andrew Matthews, Possible Raid?
Senior Dungeon Environment Artist Andrew Matthews has posted some of the work he did for Shadowlands on Artstation, including Oribos which has led to speculation it could be designed as a raid.
The Twisting Corridors mode of Torghast, Tower of the Damned is now live for players that have been keeping up with their weekly Bolvar quests! The Twisting Corridors has 8 more layers of Torghast to climb, with each layer of Twisting Corridors containing 18 Floors. Completing Layer 8 of the Twisting Corridors will unlock a mount that can be used in the Maw!
The 18 floor Twisting Corridors wing of Torghast offers players the chance to amass a huge number of anima powers, but several classes continue to find do-nothing placeholder powers which cripple their runs. Hunters, Monks, and Demon Hunters appear to be affected the most, making the activity much harder than intended.
It appears that Blizzard has made some changes to their policies regarding advertising boost sales. While selling Mythic+, PvP, and raids in exchange for gold is still acceptable, accounts created solely for the purpose of advertising those boosts are now subject to being banned, although what exactly constitutes "advertising" is a bit unclear.
Fixed an issue that sometimes caused Condemn (Venthyr Ability) to incorrectly display as Execute when switching into a talent specialization with the Massacre talent chosen.

The Beasts of Prodigum special event is now live in Torghast, Tower of the Damned, allowing you to choose a powerful Maw Beast to join your for your run and new Anima Powers to choose from! Your first Anima Power will allow you to pick one of three Maw beasts which each have a powerful special ability! Which beast will you choose?
It appears that actions are being taken against players who participated in the infinite Stygia Exploit, which allowed players to farm large amounts of Stygia and upgrade their conduits very quickly. These players have received a short suspension, their exploitive Stygia has been removed and also received a global reduction to all Conduit ranks on the character.
Torghast's version of "Treasure Goblins" from Diablo have started to spawn inside the tower with the Beasts of Prodigum event! If you're lucky enough to find one, it'll drop you extra Phantasma and an Anima Cell, and if you use a Ravenous Anima Orb on it, there's a chance it'll spawn a portal to a secret area containing even more Anima Cells!
Blizzard has pushed hotfixes to improve their accessibility options for players with increased sensibility to motion sickness. These options change hide some camera effects added in Shadowlands, like the anima strands when you die or the edge camera effects while you're under the Lingering Cloak of Ve'nari effect in the Maw.

The following spells now go on cooldown when stopped by any means: Terror, Nature's Bounty, Deafening Howl, and Phasing Roar. Previously, this cooldown would only occur with direct interrupts (such as Counterspell, Kick, Pummel, etc).
This week's Mythic+ affixes are Tyrannical, Bolstering, Necrotic, Prideful. This combination of affixes is likely going to frustrating for players, and a very difficult challenge with Tyrannical making bosses take longer, Bolstering forcing trash to die at the same time and Necrotic making everything harder for tanks and healers.

The 2D game has updated in beautiful 3D, and is also modernizing all 27 minutes of original cinematics - recreated shot for shot with the intention of preserving the look and intention of the original movies.
The BlizzConline Deep Dive panel just announced that Classic The Burning Crusade will have phases similar to World of Warcraft: Classic! Please be reminded that the Great Vault rewards items based on your efforts in the previous week. That means that you should not feel pressured to push Mythic Keystone dungeons excessively over the next few days, as your Mythic Keystone dungeon reward(s) from the Great Vault immediately after the patch goes live will not be an item that can be upgraded with Valor. Keeping items unclaimed through the first week will have no impact on this.
Blizzard has announced in the Patch Notes that they are reverting the formula for determining the level of your first Mythic Keystone each week back to Battle for Azeroth's formula. This means that if you don't complete a +15 Keystone every other week, your Keystone will drop to a +13 after 2 weeks, forcing you to do a higher keystone again.

The Unbridled Darkness Event is now live in Torghast. During this event, you can activate Unbridled Darkness for short periods of time, turning everything except your UI completely pitch black. While active, you'll gain a 75% damage increase, but you'll need to be really careful not to walk off a ledge.
