Dragonflight -> Has rules, you are subject to gravity, only works on the ONE dragon mount you'll get in the new xpac and customize later one
Flight -> Has no rules has 310% maximum speed and can be used by any mount we have in game now ( like 800+ ) except the new one
At the start of the new xpac we can assume that behind the dragonflight there will be rewards, quests to do and other shit. So you HAVE to learn to use it and you also WANT to use it because it's a new thing. Here it's all okay. I have NOTHING to say about this.
But now, imagine you're 3 months INTO the xpac, you've learnt how to dragonfly and you are in the phase where you know every bit of the zones and you are just worldquesting around and want to go from point A to point B without having to bother wity gravity, pressing buttons to do weird anymations ecc ecc.
At THIS point, I wonder how the new flight can cohexist with the old flight without one of the two being straight up better than the other and making so you either:
- rarely use the new system again
- will rarely mount up ( and see other players ) mount up anything that isn't the new mount
