ICC patch 3.3.0 was released on Dec 8th, 2009. Cataclysm released Dec 7th, 2010. Almost exactlya year between. Ruby Sanctum was a filler raid somewhere in between the two, but a year of drought exceeds the time from Shadowlands launch until where we're at now (as well as when 9.1 goes live)

Blizz is on record as saying Legion pacing is how they want to move forward with content releases. BfA was behind schedule based on this and SLands is behind BfA in these terms and well behind Legion. You are not making a very good case for yourself.

Indeed, to reference legion scheduling almost 4.5 years ago is also not a very good case for @unborn glacier , especially because of the pandemic pushing things back at least a month (The month offset is the only visible delay I've seen on the tables)

A worldwide pandemic doesn't exactly excuse the questionable development decisions that wouldn't really be impacted by said pandemic. Advertising Korthia as a "City of Secrets" when in actuality its like literally 7 huts circling a miniature broken Oribos isn't really the pandemic's fault. That's what has brought down the patch in my eyes.

I do care if it's either too early to where I know it'll be bugged, or if people keep complaining after only a few days and not give it an equal chance.

Other characters log in fine, but my game totally freezes before even loading in fully when I try and log in to my character there

I'd say that's bc the first week of 9.1 ptr was always expected to be Systems testing. They likely didn't wanna throw too much of the content in, both on a spoiler end and to prevent the game being boggled down by bugs

It's better to fix things in stages then to fix everything all at once and get overwhelmed

If I recall, TBC wasn’t even made by the mainline WoW team, who was still focused on making the last content for Classic at the time. TBC’s writers thought players wanted to fight popular faces from WC3, because they were unfamiliar with the lore.

Blizzard was undergoing a rapid expansion in staff at the time.
