i want even more allied races
have yall seen the new garona text?
yes
it got changed again
like 2 hours ago or something
also seems i missed out on a JUICY argument

I want two more allied races after Zandalari Trolls and KT Humans
for gnomes and goblins or undead
đ¤
đ¤
IDK tho, there are already so many allied races
Theres precedence for Sanâlayn and Junker Gnomes already.
[x] Gnomes, really, but...
Junker gnomes. S top.
Vulpera are probably going to happen.
lol Honk, ur picture is great xD
Junker gnomes, you mean another race with no lore?
Mechagnomes ftw
@steel venture Eh, apparently theyâll be gnomes living in Kul Tiras. They went missing and will likely return as cyborg gnomes.
dun worry, blizzard goes by the "rule of cool", not logic or past lore or anything
@steel venture there is a story behind them in bfa
... we see the junker gnomes already
The little junkyard mini-area is kinda cool.
^
They're just gnomes with a goblin aesthetic
It'll probably be falloutish somehow too x_x haha
They're not cyborgs.
The Vault itself hasnt opened yet either
@steel venture are you talking about the ones on Kultiras who went missing?
My avatar is a pic of my future Junker Gnome bombing a Horde town.
Blizzard is horribly unlikely to make prosthetics as a customization option.
Weâll see.
But weâre 90% likely to get an allied race corresponding to each base race.
I use to not believe it....but the Sethrak being playable is becoming more likely alongside vulpera
It'd be properly too "good" of a prosthetic arm is the issue.
Robotics have a distinct worn-out look in the WoW versem
All thatâs missing is one for Undead, Gnomes, Goblins, and Worgen.
It would he sad to see them fighting again though
Goblins.
If that's the case I want to see Undead + Worgen get theirs at the same time
Vulpera use the goblin skeleton.
and Goblins + Gnomes
not corresponding but being a counterpart, like Void elfs correspond to blood elfs but they are night elfs counterpart on alliance
That's a design connection, not a lore one
Sethrak use the Worgen skeleton
Yes, that's the thing Honk means.
Oh
@rich apex Do you even understand what Allied Races are
I am conflicted on sethrak
Fair enough đ
Every skeleton probably will get an allied race.
I mean that theory has floated around before
About -lore- connections
For each base race
I want them, but dont want them to fight the vulpera again
No
All races have a connection to the base race to far
Allied Races basically just means: âraces we can add using EXISTING skeletons and assets.â
I think there is going to be an allied race for Pandaren too. Since both leaders are hanging out in the embassies
No, it doesn't. They said outright they have no objections making new races for the Allied Race system.
Vulpera are furry goblins after an experiment
Humans also aren't a base for Kul Tirans.
Thatâs why they arent using the word âsubraces.â
So there's no 'skeletons/assets' for Zandalari or Kul Tirans.
Aysa and Ji also are found on the war campaign ship
Maybe the Pandaren will recruit Vulpera and another allied race
@sour burrow Zandalari use the Night Elf skeleton.
Aysa sethrak?
Similarly, the Vulpera and Sethrak are huge deviations from worgen (and decent from goblins).
Ji vulpera
Pandaren aren't likely to get a corresponding pairing.
I would love sethrak but I would rather the worgen allied race be more worgen related?
And I'm sad to see that gnoll/furbolg thing circulating as such lol.
Same with goblins
Ah. My daily checkup on the BFA channel.
I see we are still on the same topic.
I'll see myself out.
It's a fun one :)
Hey!
I have nothing against Sethrak and Vulpera TBH, but I really love goblins and if there is a goblin allied race I'd rather it be a subrace for goblins.
You want Allied Races to be subraces.
I drastically disagree and resent the fact that you would restrict it as such.
because I love how DI Dwarves turned out
There cam easily be like
I'm shocked people actually like goblins at all, but ehh. :P
Gilgoblins, even if the vulpera are added
That's why Im suggesting Ji and Aysa should recruit em'
Since we probably wont be getting a neutral allied race
:-)
I don't think 'who recruits them' matters in the slightest. I think it's a mechanical thing so that each race has a slot on the character select screen for allied races that semi-corresponds.
Elf to elf, dwarf to dwarf, etc. Goblin and Worgen actually get brand new races, because they had the opportunity to do so.
I mean, I get that but there are people who love certain races that would be disappointed if their race was the one who supports the new races.
Though I'd totally be fine with it if Gilblins would be added later in like khamnin said
So I guess I'm supporting subraces
Pandaren => Tortollan
Tortollan => Not at all planned as far as we can tell. Super busted model with no non-geoset form, no female design at ALL supported, rough model and animations...
Unless they add Vulpera and Sethrak as their own races, there's no true way to make everyone satisfied
Maybe because they are the last allied race we will get when the war is no longer as its current state (end of expansion)
so it's normal if it's not 100% ready
It's not impossible, but it's not a route I would put money on.
I still believe there is a reason for tottle to be in the collector edition
because tortollan are neutral and they may be an allied race too
also the role of the tortollans in wqs and their rep
works more like the kirintor
aka neutral
It's like
If they will have to choose a side '(just like pandaren) at the end of expansion when the war is shut down
Again, I'd place money on Sethrak. I'd even put a little on San'layn or "Junker" gnomes, but not Tortollan.
I love Sethrak
I'd put money on neither.
It's the closest thing to getting Saurok for me
Sethrak are obviously planned as an allied race since the day the showed they video animation at blizzcon
TBH I like how Saurok look more but I'd play sethrak
Video provided at Blizzconâs art gallery for future expansion, Battle for Azeroth.
this
Thulm either hates gambling or doesn't keep up with the backend reasoning for vulpera/sethrak lol
It was obvious since that day
Neither. I just don't promote discussions where people continually push the reasoning was to why X race will be implemented as playable until Blizzard themself confirms it.
Because no matter how much you speculate, it doesn't get anyone anywhere until Blizzard makes the call.
For all we know the animations could be there because we might be playing them for certain quests.
Talking about what we actually know is happening is more interesting to me.
Kind of like we did with the Saurok in Isle of thunder
http://ptr.wowhead.com/vulpera-race-in-voldun
http://ptr.wowhead.com/sethrak-race-in-voldun
Even with information collections like these? We're discussing what's most likely, after all. These things talk about what we do know.
A guide detailing the basics of what a Vulpera is, as well as their potential likelihood as an Allied Race.
Contains multiple theories and evidence.
TBH I think they should just be added as their own seperate race
Yep. Even with info pots like that.
instead of allied races
Speculating is not always for fun, sometimes for reasons
How droll. I personally love hunting for information in this particular case. Looking for the patterns, finding which ones are supported.
Hey can y'all help me out with something real quick?
But in this case, that same information applies to literally any model in the game that isn't playable and you interact with.
It doesn't, though. The ArtOffLoop only is held by playable races and Sethrak.
I want to make a HM Tauren Druid but I'm planning on making a Zandalari Troll Druid, I would make a HM Tauren Warrior but I really want to level a druid and warriors are kind of boring IMO.
What should I do?
Theyâre specifically featured in a multitude of quest lines, theyâre not like any other race. The groundwork is there for them. And yes the coding stuff too.
Play your druids in diff specs gg
why the hell ppl is selling gems at 750k? really?
Can I get the link of the profesion changes in BFA?
Because you can copy characters with 700k gold as much as you want
so you get unlimited gold
Still, its useless
yes, but sending all your gold to a character then copying it multiple times is the only solution
to buy from AH
Ppl are stupid
What are the state of druids in BFA btw?
Tank sux atm. Hate it. But might also be the 120 scaling issues.
Still boring / even fewer things we can do.
Tank is good
Bear is still fine, if you liked in in Legion youâll like it in BfA
I liked it in Legion. I'm not liking it at 120.
It's fun enough leveling but it's really painful at max and keeps getting even more health related nerfs.
It also has even fewer things it can do, it feels like. Having to take active talents just to feel like I'm doing something, and questing is a pain in the butt versus any single target stuff.
Numbers =|= the actual class, fixing scaling isnât hard
Numbers does nothing to fix the lack of interesting buttons I have to press.
I don't really feel an impact of the changes between Legion and BFA with my guardian druid, and it's my main, I was feeling bad for the 10% health nerf were I read it on wowhead but in the end it's not that impactful, Frenzied Regeneration was buffed compared to legion you just need some haste to reduce the cd a bit, and Azerite traits are interesting even if they are simple
Nothing will ever fix that until your arbitrary definition of interesting is met.
I don't see how questing is a pain for you, I like pulling as much mobs as possible with Incarnation Guardian of Ursoc
Are you 120 or no?
yes
And your item level is what?
heroic geared, didn't start doing mythic yet
Mine is 312 and I struggle with a lot still. Maybe it feels better at that point but for me, it's unsatisfying. I would appreciate either less dying or more killing, and single target feels very bad. Moonfire got nerfed, too, recently.
I'm usually at around the flashing point on health, the Azerite abilities feel like an insult, and it's just flat out missing something.
It's always that way when you reach max level, what you experienced with leveling is similar to how it will be when you're geared at max level
And I especially do not like the FR changes. Felt more useful in Legion. At least when stuff was hitting hard, it did something.
No, Legion did not feel that way. Not the way BfA swaps from pulling 10 and living to pulling 3 and dying.
When legion started it was the same way
I stand by my feelings on this. You can either ask me for details on my opinions, or you can piss off with yours. I do not like bear as much as legion and that is my personal experience and opinion as someone who has been doing it.
Dungeons were tough, but outdoor content was not this painful.
I can confirm as someone who recently leveled a guardian, yes I couldnt pull much before just dying
For me it's just fine and I'm happy with it
Things like legendary abilities, or the impact of some of the artifact traits, the lack of these things make the spec feel really sluggish and dull. That's my view. I wasn't questioning yours aside from asking your item/level.
A lot can be fixed with numbers but it really feels 'off' to me. I especially miss the slow effect from thrash.
Well I was giving my opinion too, does it matter if you were asking or not ? No
Ah, true, it was Vris who was being more antagonistic there.
one big change from legion is that we started with mark of ursoc. By the time they took that away, I was already on the upper level of gear.
Lacking that tool makes a big chunk of solo play uncomfortable by comparison.
Morbid. o.o
wat tje ficl
Oh hey they put in Kurt
the fuck*
kek
for the burning of teldrassil
when I meet with sylv
near darkshore
what do I actually do
she's just shooting malfurion
also what's the new cloth for BFA?
Just wait like 5 mins
I got it
super annoying
how to kill wisps tho?
nevermind got it
whole bunch of ppl here
so i cant get one
cant wait to get to the actual burning of teldrassil
thats why I cant wait for it
Amusing to hear there's a strange bottleneck on the Horde side as well. Alliance has a thing where we have to put to rest elf-corpses, but they spawn at the rate of snail, and they aren't personal credit objects.
that is more a bug
i dont think those things are intended as bottlenecks
a lot of quests act like that when first implemented
any idea on how to fix the nonstop crashes at stormwind?
So there's a Siege of Boralus, is there a Siege of Zuldazar?
What operating system?
No
Thereâs no story that leads to siege of Zul Dazar making sense
The siege of Boralus is an alliance dungeon first and foremost
You arenât sieging boralus
Ashvane is
It says in the latest news Siege of Boralus is a Horde mythic dungeon
It literally connects to the Alliance storyline though..
^
itâs rep gates because the horde takes advantage of the siege to steal azerite from ashvane
@dense plover huh? it's not an alliance leveling dungeon Oo
It's 120 and mythic-only
yes, just mythic only, not leveling
There literally IS story for sieging Zuldazar though
Thatâs the point of the end of the Alliance campaign
Weâre scouting weaknesses to prepare for our assault on Atalâdazar to capture Rastakhan
I;m not a horde player, but they better not kill Rastakhan off and have his daughter become leader
They probably are, Voljin calls her the leader they need, my hope is that they go the proudmoore route and have him retire
from the base 8.0 story, rastakhan does not die,but they may make him die during the uldir raid,on in 8.1 or whatever
with rezan dead there is pretty much nothing keeping bwonsamdi from taking rastakhan tbh
Well, him and Bwonsamdi have an unknown deal at the end of Zuldazar
lets hope it doesnt end like the last unknown deal we had with an avatar of death
looking at you helya
I mean. Unlike Helya, bwonsamdi is a cool dude
he's such a cool dude,he's the spirit healer
that doesnt mean Blizzard is not going to forget about it forever
just like what happened with helya
I mean. With Helya dead, does her deal really matter? Helya's not around to keep the deal, and Sylvanas was already thwarted
Sucks that we never learned it but that's just how the story went
after doing magni quest on the ship when we lost our artefact, nothing else to do? (PTR)
Only week one content seems to be in the PTR atm
yo
Malfurion single handedly rooted sylvanas's entire army and then made a whisp barrier at the entire border of ashenvale
What's the BFA replacement for shal'dorei silk?
it'd be cool if it's sea themed
also BFA reminds me of that sea themed expac a while back
just instead of playable naga, a bunch of allied races
There are 2
Tidespray Linen, Deep Sea Satin
Cool, thanks
it says leather but it's tailoring
I don't think so because
they don't have the same description
"Gathered from killing creatures. Can be bought and sold on the auction house."
"Used by players with the Tailoring skill. Can be bought and sold on the auction house."
Look at "Dropped by" here http://bfa.wowhead.com/item=152576/tidespray-linen
it drops on Kultiras too
Maybe
One of them is white quality and the other is green btw
sea themed expansion btw
love that
and I definitely love how legion kind of lead up to that
with broken isles and what-not
kind of like with the end of WoD being legion-y stuff

Both drop from mobs
Deep sea satin is rarer
Required for better gear
Iâve gotten most of mine from the scrap mechanic
I donât use it though, so I donât know the recipes itâs used in
cool stuff
theres a shit ton of secrets like that in drustvar
ive found two coven toys locked behind drust ruin puzzles
and i found the first piece of that pet yesterday
i llike how theyve kind of created several types of treasures
regular treasurechests that give garbage that can be sold for gold and some war resources
then puzzles which can range from toys to pieces of things, pets, etc
Don't mean to bother anyone with this, but if anyone of y'all have the time can y'all post a picture of the pathfinder achievement for Kul Tiras and Zandalar?
Itâs on wowhead
Pretty much the same as broken isles part 1
See?
Explore both continents, gain revered with the 6 reps of your faction, do 100 different world quests, complete the war campaign. It rewards a 20% Ground Mount speed bonus
And its account wide so you only need to earn it once
Oh yeah, and complete the storylines for your 3 zones
Part 2 will be :
Explore the new Northrend
Kill Bolvar
Get Lordaeron back (Alliance)
Rebuild Gilneas (Alliance)
Assist to Sylvanas becoming the new Lich Queen (Alliance + Horde)
Complete the scenario : The horde needs a new warchief (Horde)
Bomb Stormwind: Horde

im totally up for the idea of blizzard updating old zones and cities
and reusing them
like Dalaran and Lordaeron
Anyone knows if blizz gonna release Zandalari Trolls on beta or will try them n PTR?
If we do test them, they wonât be till 8.1 PTR at earliest
Ah
So its:
Launch: Maghar and Dark Iron
8.1 (untitled): Zandalari and Kul Tiran
8.2 (untitled) Maybe sethrak and vulpera or something else, ogres and thin humans.
maybe
its also possible we only get these allied races
and maybe get some in next prepatch or last patch, like with legion races
possibly
Also 8.1 will definetily be Azshara raid, maybe with a small campaign leading to it like argus, maybe it would start out with some war like MoP
it will probably be a new island
Maybe...
Balor, Crestfall, Tel Abim or Zuldare
Or em all
Or plunder isle.
Any of em!
not really
azshara is next
so nazjatar is likely
Tides of Nazjatar is a really good patch name too
unlikely - the amount of patch content will probably be similar to legion
it wasnt that big tbh, 1 of those patchees was just ton of dailies
And vanilla had 12 which we'll probaly not see that amont of patches now.
quality > quantity
Tides of Nazjatar (8.1) Domination of Lands (8.2 War Patch) The Dark Below (8.3)
Is what im thinkin
we literally dont know whats happening next
predicting any patches past the next one is very dangerous
the story could go in many directions
I'd guess Nazjatar Patch, War Patch and then nzoth patch or something
Maybe in the nzoth one there could be war and then nzoth comes
also, no way a patch will ever be named the dark below
its very likely the patch following azshara will already be leading towards nzoth with war overtones or something
honestly i hope we dont get nzoth as a patch
i want an old god expac
unless bfa becomes one
which is very possible
first two raids are old god related in a major way
What I was thinkin awhile ago was that Nzoth was gonna be a good guy and he was just testin us and he would be on our side but that would be way too weird
that wouldnt make any sense
old gods are inherently evil
theyre minions of the void
Definitenely for a Ocean-dwelling Snake people controller and Darkwing of Death Deathwing's Whisperer
@karmic copper This is not how blizzard storylines works, they won't introduce Nzoth this way, they will likely just make it appear or something but the story will take another direction
I don't believe BFA will focus on Nzoth
i mean
not even as the last expansion boss
literallyy azshara
I hope they clear up some of the stuff
she is a minion of nzoth
What if PC becomes boss
Ya
but
I was talking about what Kiffix said
I'd guess Nazjatar Patch, War Patch and then nzoth patch or something
Nzoth patch
it won't happen like this
Also hope that blizz regonizes the small islands like Tel abim, Crestfall, Zuldare, Balor and the islands around Maelstrom, maybe small quest island
Story can take many directions, Calia, Bolvar, Wrathion etc... Nzoth is likely to stay for another expansion at least
An island in WC2
That the horde invaded and alliance too
Its under the control of GIlneas
Crestfall is under Kul'Tiras's control and Balor is Stormwinds.
Seems like there are a bunch of map to explore
What about the one called Dragon Isles?
Aw
They looked spooky in the render
What happened with that zone above the plagelands?
Is Highmountain north of the Tauren lands?
Huh?
@zealous basalt It's an empty location which has some of the open world strathholme
The tease
Leave the past behind and open your eyes to the future : Nazjatar, Nyalotha & the Black Empire world revamp

Honestly, Iâm betting one of the zones/raids related to Nzoth will be one of the facilities that the maiden of vitality mentions
Ahh
Also crestfall and zuldare are between gilneas and dun morogh but they're not there in wow
Uldorus or Uldaz
Uldorus is something similar to Antorus
What's with titans and uld names
I think Uld is related to Azeroth
Crestfall hasnât been in between that bay since Kul Tiras was
Does uld mean something in titan?
Like
Uldorus,
Antorus
Antorus = Argus
Uldorus = Azeroth
Uld is just azeroth not all titans
@uncut vault i remember something about crestfall being in Kul Tiras in the beta but it being renamed
pretty sure there is a town
There's also a tower in ashran called crestfall rise
actually
i dont think its a town
i think corlain was called crestfall
and then renamed
@balmy ingot they won't
wow good news
Oh
was renamed pretty early on
its not unusual for them to rename stuff
Gnomes are sarificed to blizzard
Corlain was always corlain, but one of the main characters, the harbormaster, is named Crestfall
Yea him
Crestfallen Knight?
what new animations do nightborne have?
Idle and thatâs about it
Me not like the faces of nightbornes tbh
They kind of look like aliens
please stop
Yeah vris
This time I'm with rys
I think it's time to relax, have a vacation away from this
If my emoji from prior didnt elude that Im teasing
Clearly they are
lock
demo lock feels great đ
i was just playing it, it plays great even without addons
lmao everyone is going mad over the bonus loot token changes in BFA
youre a bit late
someone started calling everyone a white knight the other day
because some people didn't really care
they changed bear tartare from 70% to 20% speed buff
who, me?
i mean
I know
Frost DK master race
Unholy DK master spec
Unholy best spec
dude,druid master race
that's a hearthstone deck
^^
Warlocks master tanks
go to #classic-wow for bandage healing bois
best spec is fury
Shaman tank 2018?
If you aren't a bear or are wearing plate, no tank for you
Looks at Demon Hunters
demon hunters are the ultimate bears. Have you not seen their meta forms
I dunno, I like my burly men without horns and scales.
That may be but that doesn't stop them from being the ultimate bears
kultiran bears đ
That has 2 meanings
that was the point zep
đđđ
So any male kultiran is fair game đ¤
by all technicalities, yes
Night elf men.
Not hairy enough
Disturbing, but that^
True.
iunno, we've never seen past the loincloth đ¤
But then again, most male races lack body hair.
I have. Through various ways.
đ
there's nothing there in case you were wondering. Everyone is just a ken doll
sinners, all of u
how am I a sinner?
Oh, I think we were looking at different things then.
all i did was remove the loin cloth in an editor
u got me there
if anything, YOU'RE a sinner for thinking it
the plot thiccens
y'all need jesus
I am Jesus
hes a great landscaper
And I steal hub caps from cars.
Do we know who is Bwomsandi's boss?
Not sure
When i delivered him Vol'jin's ashes
And his spirit wasn't there
He said something like "Boss wont like this"
Can ya get his exact words and not paraphrase? o;
not reliable to pull them from datamining and I don't recall him ever using boss in those anyways. o:
You Owe Me a Spirit it's the quest
but there's nothing about what he says after turning it in
Im pretty sure he said something about a boss
If i can do it again I will check it
you can make a new 110 and do it that way o:
I have another char but the quest isn´t appearing
odd
And already finish Zandalar Forever
not sure if there's maybe a trigger you need done fo rit
Yeah, but I don´t know if we should send a ticket for stuff like that(?
Ty
maybe it'll be a good thing teldrassil burned down
for horde sure. It's a great thing that you kicked the night elves out of their home
night elves have a chance of getting an updated city
no more alliance.
updated city
For the night elves, you lost your ancestral home
They have a chance of getting a new city I meant
hell, i'd be fine with thunderbluff burning down if I'll get a new, updated, city in the future to replace it.
Teldrassil was grown right after the second war since they lost their Actual ancestral home to the Burning Legion thanks to the Horde.
er
third war*
Well, it's not too bad, maybe they'll get a new capital in the future.
Four years
that's nearly 30 years
and Rys
night elves aren't growing another world tree
Age 21
last few times they tried to grow their own world trees it's either been taken over or has been corrupted
The current age is 31
They can settle on mount hyjal
Maybe they will get new islands. :-)
not that ancestral
Forsaken can have a little island city around Kalimdor
and Night Elves can have one around Eastern Kingdoms
the year that this takes in is 34
Might not be as mighty as a world tree, but it'd be nice to see some new capitals for the nelves and forsaken.
1
I think they said somewhere that all wow expacs were counted as one age in game
Not always 1. Legion does start up right afteR but it does NOT end right after WoD
and with Cataclysm and Pandaria's gap having taken 2 years in total
Still, even if it is 34 atm that doesn't make Teldrassil really ancestral
It was a home nonetheless
If their ancestors lived there and a new generation is born there, yes that is ancestral.
flips table
cata and pandaria were 1 year each
that 2 year thing is not accurate
they confirmed that at blizzcon
people were taking the 10 years thing for legion as canon
it isnt canon - the ten years was in relation to the release of burning crusade
ancestral home is not one generation
if my great great grandparents are romanian, and my family has lived in the US for 3 generations, my ancestral home is still romania
no
It doesn't make Teldrassil ancestral?
no
tyvm
their ancestral home would be wherever they were born, and their parents were born, and their parent's parents
those places dont exist
most of the elves lost their ancestral homes
if
only if, there have been like, maybe 10 generations of elves or something
then it would be their ancestral home
bbut people would have to not remember their ancestral home
and that isnt the case
I don't think elves reproduce at such rate
Probably no one was born in dat tree
well
orcs not?
no, some probably wwere
Well, that's surprising
orcs probably still see draenor as their ancestral home
Considering their short timespan
i dont think there is a single orc that sees ogrimmar as their ancestral home
they dont have short lifespans fyi
they can live as long as a human
they just live more violent dangerous lives, so they have a tendency to die sooner
I was making the comparison to other non-human races that can live more than 110 years
do they?
i dont think they live to be older than maybe 60
i cant think of a single old goblin
And they spent their lifes doing business
Are draenei truly inmortal?
They seem to have a long as hell lifespan
^
Velen seems to at least be somewhere like 10k years old or something like that
I read somewhere that he was 20k somethnig
we dont know if they have eternal life, but they have very long lifespans
velen is at least 25k years old
because thats how long ago they left argus
Yeah, I knew it was somewhere way up there
And doesn't seem like if he was that old
Perhaps the light makes them live longer?
think that Xenedar's draenei might be a lil older than him?
no
xenedar got their draenei from the ones that either stayed behind or escaped
or stayed behind on other planets
Velen was one of the three leaders of the Eredar, so he's old as hell
I thought the Xenedar was a part of the Genedar and that it split some time after they left Argus
trolls dont live that long either
at least I dont think so
Rastakhan is a little over 100 afaik
I don't know about life span, but trolls are tenacious
They were back around during the Black Empire's reign
Rezan is expanding Rastakhan's live span
thats what I know
probably going to die of old age or something in BFA
with rezan dead
ok so he's like 200 or something
Rezan kezan
It's litearlly only because Xavius is trolling her
it's the bes tpart of the whole thing
I don't care about their love
If I wanted to see this cheesy stuff I would have turned the tv
it was nevera botu their live
love*
it was literally just Xavius being an ass and trolling Tyrande
And still it could have been avoided if Malfurion didn't make a leeroy jenkins because Cenarius was taken
And in the end we killed him again
Cenarius died already
Like the first time against the orcs
Wasn't he supposed to be really chill and all?
And subsequently killed
i thought in the raid we just freed him
He wasn't killed
Oh yeah "Unconcious"
im just salty that because of Xavius we had to lose Ysera
She's second rate eye candy and doesn't actually mean anything
So what?
She was still really charismatic and liked by some people
Are we going to kill all those characters that doesn't mean anything then?
Name one time she was likeable when she wasn't just spewing exposition
Wotlk meeting her for the first time, at least for me? Learning about her?
When she just gave us exposition about how the dream works and how she's always dreaming in it
I really liked her for what she were, considered the small sister of the queen of dragons, you know?
Technically, by that logic, ALL the dragons are sisters/brothers of Alex
Why are you so salty over losing the little sister of Alex when you're not salty over the inevitable loss of her little brother, Nozdormu?
or salty over the loss of her big bro, Deafwin?
I was?
For doing his job correctly?
The nexus was was the thing I am less salty, Malygos was in thought that the more mana we 'wasted' the more probabilities of the burning legion of getting to us again
he's not wrong
About Nozdormu
at al
about that thought process
because our usage of magic is what caused all this shit in the first place
In which, how aren't you just a walking dispenser of salt over every dragon we had to kill
cuz we've had to kill a lot of em
Neltharion could have been gone different if he got his family together
Alexstrasza, the one that claimed that loved him the most, apparently didn't notice when he started to fall in madness
can't notice a fall when you hide it
You can feel when something is going wrong tho?
But again to Noz
He said that the cycle of the End Time we saw before was closed when Neltharion died
not always. Especially during a war.
He will fall eventually as a infinite dragon
Imo, the closest chance we had to see him was with the vision of time in Pandaria
When we saw Kairoz finishing Soridormi
eck, i expected her to die in WoD and Nozdormu being sad enough to try and change the future of what happened
And then in Legion, we learn something harsh
That they lost the ability to lay eggs
Which is, in my humble opinion, such a really bad decision
Dragons may not be relevant to the story in the future...but don't kill them, Blizzard
...offtopic
I got robbed
Where is my ap blizzard
oh, wasn't ap, just mission object
I didn't read anything in cata that said "Dragons can't have eggs"
Then you didn't pay attention to twitter when it was asked multiple times
and clarified multuple times by blizz
If you did please link me the thing that says specifically "dragon can--"
they became sterile
Who cares if its in game? It's the lore
Well of Eternity aint in game
still happened despite that fact
Still, in game, during Azsuna questline, someone says that since Deathwing's death, dragons became sterile
Because of that you need to save Senegos hatching
I know that, I was refering about some references of dragons being sterile in game before Legion
its good
You don't need to own twitter
to be aware of whats put there
and it was made into an article on the website
Link?
https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/story/short-story/charge-of-the-aspects
https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/9536553597 the tweets no longer exist due to Loreology not existing anymore btw
Yeah i know... title sounds weird :P https://twitter.com/loreology/status/427824618800312320 It seems Alexstrasza (the Aspect of Life, but maybe it happened to the other Aspects too) lost her ability to procreate more whelps after the fall of Deathwing. Do you think that was ...
if you'd like more about how this has been a thing
He exists again, sadly didnât reactivate his old account, made a new one
oh rip.
Oh absolutely Mak, but just cuz you've never heard of it don't mean it never happened :p
Sadly
It's not like we could ignore such idiotic decisions made by whoever thought of them
even if a big part of players that like dragons doesn't want to acknowledge such decision
Who was the author of said decision, if I can ask?
WHADDAP GUYSE
Sup
Yo
Beta testers
That are old that the world itself
Pvp appearance in bfa
If one of my characters reach p10
Would all the pvp appearances be unlocked when bfa is out?
the only appearances which cannot be obtained after bfa are the mage tower and m+15 in time
so after our chars get the same prestige they should get the pvp skins
so only the mage tower stays locked ?
is the m+ obtainable from the new dungeons or the old ones ?
are we going to get m+ keys from legion dungeons after bfa launches?
The M+15 artifact tint will be obtainable from the BFA dungeons
Mage tower skin will become un-obtainable after Legion, but if you unlock the first skin during Legion, you can get the other tints in BFA
^
@zealous basalt No specific author. It was just blizzards decision on it.
Freaking
Most of the lore writers arenât really public at all, which is why writers like Christie Golden get flak for the story content, despite mostly having no control over the actual direction
It's not even entirely their fault either, I'd imagine blizzard tells them the outline and has them fill in the details.

Hmph
hm
guys
someone has tought it's way too much casuality that sargeras plunged the sowrd on silithus?
like near cthun?=
in before AQ reboot
besides the fact that it's a big desert that noone cares about so it'd be easier to have that area be smashed?
yeah it prolly has something to do with c'thun
I mean that's probably a factor too
it's very close to an old god
I mean it might just be in the old god and sargeras killed him
leaving us with 2 to do ourselves
my headcanon is that he did it just to unleash the old gods upon us and force us to free him to solve this mess
nah...that works against his whole plan
his plan was to capture azeroth and break her to his will
that still fits in his plan because the old gods getting free doesn't instantly corrupt azeroth
^
i think something's fucky
We do tho Pleau
that's the whole point of Antrous and the Seat of the Pantehon
his Dark Pantheon
all that jazz
I meant the azeroth won't just become corrupted partt
as a result of the old gods being freed
He knows because the Old gods WERE free on Azeroth for an indeterminate amount of time
before being sealed away
yea so much of it is on the surface of azeroth and noted by the titan keepers within her
Again, considering hte black empire was around for possibly thousands of years kinda gives the hint that it's either already corrupted the planet, it hasn't, or they can only do it slowly
the situation must've been pretty desperate at one point if the titans risked ripping 1 old god out
Nope it wasn't
Aman'thul just plucked one out because he had no idea what to do
and then he made things worse and that's when they all said "Aight we can't do that anymore"
That's why I stay to the headcanon that he is forcing us to face the old god forces to free him and have him help us.
in before Sargeras's atrocities are all retconned
The new novel World of Warcraft: Sargeras will say how he was actually off fighting the Void while all the demons did horrible things under his banner, but he wasn't directly aware of them

Inb4 naaru prime and quests about us reviving sargeras' moments

To be fair, there -is- a 99% chance Sargeras will escape
But my money is still on Illidan letting him out because he's just an asshole and Blizz will let him swing back to villain when they need to milk TBC nostalgia in 14.0 or so
Oof
Inb4 illidan becomes boruto's dad and talks with him
And makes him an anti hero instead of a villain
Boruto's dad is Boruto's dad though
nah, illidan will become sargeras's vessel
cause we know whats going on at the seat of pantheon
is illidan is running into sargeras's leg over and over to try and cut him with his blades
Illidan giving sargeras that good soul succ
the whole "illidan is the jailer" is sooooo hilarious xD
Amanthul: return to your home, mortals
guys, how do i unlock vashj'ir?
beat
Amanthul: did i stutter what are you still doing here
Illidan: well if i go home i'll be held accountable for all of the crimes i directly or indirectly committed, so
You start a quest from Stormwind
Or uh
Orgrimmar probably
my headcanon of whats going on is that all the titans are talking and have just ignored illidan completely
and he's whining around em trying to get sargeras's attention
thE HuntEr iS noTHiNG wIthOUt the hUNt
(Remember how the end of Maiev's hunt turned her into a bitter and ultimately insane madwoman (until they retconned that))
(But the end of Illidan's hunt is a bittersweet triumph)
đ¤
Pay no mind that Maiev never enslaved anyone or snorted fel juice six times
Maeiv going insane wasn't retconned as far as Im aware. It's very much a 'We ignore that part of her life'
Didn't she try to kill Malfurion
Like that's a lot to ignore
(Almost like, say, ignoring Illidan's entire role in the enslavement of Outland)
She tried to kill the highborne iirc. Which she did. Maybe she tried Tyrande but I don't actually remember
and we did ignore that too Hyper
don't forget

She did try to kill Malf, but it isnât forgotten, sheâs just only interacted with two nelfs in Legion, one being her brother and the other being Illidan
who are both pretty messed up at this point
she around for BFA?
I have not seen here yet, but I only just got into the Beta, so I have not gone outta the way to find her
maiev's new job: jailer for sylvanas
She wasnt wrong mind you
Did they ever explain how warden blinks are different from arcane blinks? Is it just âlol elf magicâ?
blizzard and explaining
Isn't it similar to shadow step I thought?
I mean I sure wouldn't expect a deep lore explanation for an old WC3 ability that's never referenced again, except to give said ability to mages đ
Only explanation we really got was in the RPG, which needless to say was ridiculous
Their got their powers from their extreme conviction for justice
So Wardens are from 40k? đ¤
The demon hunters wouldn't have survived if they were đ
I'm just using it for exp on my allied race toons
Starting to wonder if it's really worth it
Especially if he doesn't die in the first round
Is there a wowhead community on the beta?
dont think so
most of us arent testing that feature because we want to get all of the world and quest bugs first
