Forest trolls are another ballpark. The Revantusk tribe- a tribe of forest trolls, have been aiding/in the Horde since at least Cata
So them being neutral would be pretty bad.

Xal is basically making a weapon. Not to consume, but to do destroy. Dimensius and Azeroth’a world soul combined into the dark heart to power some sort of weapon that will destroy maybe an even greater void lord out there or something/ someone completely different that she wants to take her revenge on. Or maybe a weapon that will allow her to remake the universe Thanos style.

She needs the world soul to restore the world she once inhabited. But she also wants to restore her people. So she needs the power to bring people back from the dead i.e. power over death itself. I imagine that would require an insane amount of power - probably also why she needs the Sunwell.
(I know that she is a void being but I could see the potential that she sacrificed herself to serve Dimensius to spare her people and that transformed her. This theory would also imply that Dimensius lied and still devoured her world or it was devoured by another void lord down the line)

I was thinking that, sure we've seen her manipulate the dark heart for attacks and stuff. But surely she won't want to use it to just suck things up, and she couldn't do much just using it fit personal attacks. I do still think the jailer thing is AI fake, but her using his body like a puppet on strings to more effectively control the power in the dark heart wouldn't be out of character.

agreed. probably more work to add a new spec to balance and then also design an artifact around it for a temporary event
because if they're seemingly unwilling to write in an Evoker weapon, it seems they're also unwilling to write in a Void DH weapon

Yeah definitely think all the big line items will be revealed like a keynote. Probably starting with Holly then Metzen. Then maybe Ion to go over key gameplay features. Then day 2 (technically day 1 of gamescom) we’ll get Ion again plus other devs for deep dives.
