It makes sense given that azeroth is the only planet left that's not fallen to void or fel or whatever, and that was apparently because azeroth is what makes all of us special and immortal or something (whatever parts of that still exist as canon, at least)

And if you look at the shape and appearance of the world soul, its radiating with fire from different colors, so the " Prime world soul " is probably what generate the " primal forces " and the elements.

I theorized that Azeroth was the original point of creation used by the first Ones, as a Prime world soul, she produced primal power like earth, fire, spirit, decay, water and air, and each of these elements, once combined, could create something more, aka light, shadow, life, etc.

I'm not sure, we know that there is another continent, hidden beyond the storming sea. So I wouldn't rule out Avaloren being the place where the Arathi comes from before an alternate version. Plus, the Arathi do talk about the " Old World " when they are mentionning our actual continent, so they ( an expedition ) most likely went east of Arathi Highlands during the day of Arathor , ended up stranded on distant shore, discovered Avaloren and built their empire there because they had no way to go back to their initial home.

In real life, via the theory of many worlds, there is no difference between an alternative universe and timeline. Parallel universe is actually an inaccurate term, the multiverse is basically comprised of an infinite number of 'histories, which are trajectories of multiversal objects (typically atomic and sub amotic particles, as objects become more entangled with a single history the larger and less emergent they become)

Unless there will be some bigger impact later - with Khadgar losing his powers, being "infected" by the Void or whatever that justifies, narratively, his abduction by Xal'atath. Personally, I bet on this - something else happening to him

wasn't a massive light display, he even says he needs to ease back into it

since anduin was known for his big thematic light moments before, he lost that confidence after questioning himself as the golden boy so he's relearning how to approach the light without all the pressure put on him from his previous mentality/method

khadghar didn't get magically fully healed, you can also say that he literally "lay on hands"'d him

but not at full strength

I do think this will be anduins shift into being a paladin though. Since before he was a priest in plate, now he's more experienced in martial combat and is approaching the light more like paladins have in the past (not necessarily big NPC's but the background/lore and fantasy that's written)

and it's going to be interesting to see him potentially deal with the darkness inside him now that he's learning about void more. But I do wonder if that'll overlap with the potential light/shadow balancing they might have in place for arator next xpac

I think in the end the Void will be banished forever but not in the way we think . Light can't exists without shadow. I think both Light and Shadow will mingle into a new kind of magic in harmony, and Anduin will be one of the flagbearer of the " Netherlight " harbinger. and I think it's close to the type of Magic Elune herself is manipulating

with dimensius being set up as extremely powerful (more than sargeras) it wouldn't surprise me if the way to defeat him is to not defeat him but change him

we couldn't fight sargeras, we didn't kill him, we just locked him up

if you throw a big enough lightbomb into dimensius it would probably neutralize him into a different entity as you say

but dimensius becoming possessed by the light might then also create a new problem

there isn't really a good way to deal with him

best thing we can do is stop the war for Azeroth so we're no longer a target either by letting azeroth be born or stopping his summoning until that can happen

dimensius comining out of the moon could be a very cool visual btw. Especially with the eclipse logo for midnight, potential links to elune, etc. Wouldn't surprise me if dimensius is summoned from the moon and we see him looming in the skybox getting closer as things progress

would also then work as a setup to why elune might not be immediately present to help us, with no moon to manifest from she would probably need to create a coalition with her forces like the army of the light and fly over to us from somewhere else perhaps

I'm not even sure Dimensius will be there, or will be there to consume Azeroth. It's now all but confirmed that Xal is not there to summon Dimensius to the world to eat up Azeroth, but more to control her and infuse her with void to mutate her into - probably - a new void lord. Maybe even become Azeroth's since its supposedly Azshara's goals too

It's a little sad that Ansurek appeared on the screen so little. A special cinematics with a backstory was created for her, but in the game itself She was almost not on the screen, unlike than, for example, other antagonists of Act 1 ( Denathrius and Raszageth)

I think ansurek at the end realizes she made a mistake that Xal did the opposite of what she hoped she would do for her.

it'll take some work and they can't immediately ofc but like

the ascended are being setup to be able to have free will and not be controlled by xal once we find a cure for that

and also the nerubians have an issue with the ascended since they don't classify them as nerubian

so they'd probaly exile them, they don't fit into their society

means they'll need to go somewhere

the main issue is that the little armor you can put on them is then limited by either you being naked or has to match the racial armour colours if you want a good look

ik wow hasn't rewally done that level of colour customisation before but it would be nice to atleast change metallics and base colours seperately
