lol
oh you get the pheremone buff properly on alts, that's nice
whats the last quest of the campaign so i can NOT do that?
If the 8/20 prepatch date is correct, we only have like 10 more builds til talents are locked in
new dynamic flight menu in the mount menu
this may go somewhere.
area objectives have a new icon replacing the crossed swords
I swear some of the writers are Pratchett fans
"The Rock Bottom"? Has Blizzard finally become self-aware?
Never understood this sense of humour, if you don't like it then why are you here?
I'm not chastising I'm probably just being autistic
There are just people who are not capable of joking, this is one of those people. Such people cannot understand at what point a joke is funny and at what point it is as dumb as possible
Oh, it's derogatory humor that's aimed at myself more than the game.
It's like hating yourself for popping an annoying pimple that's been bugging you and going "I should not have done that."
Harsh. But not entirely untrue.
i got to 80 on my not bricked character, seems you get the delve mount then
i managed to pick the quest up before it ported me lmao
new options on the tauren
She’s awakening 😌
Last part of the campaign is where you go watch ascension day and then do a scenario to escape the city. I'm not sure exactly what quest triggers the lockout, might be the final one or a bit earlier
checking on brann, the other two slots open at 80 too
the trinket upgrade slots?

holy macaroni watching preach new video on Hallowfall and it is unbelievably gorgeous. sealed the deal on a pc upgrade so i can enjoy this properly
It's a gorgeous zone, deserves the 10 on graphics settings
I need a higher proc 😦
New dungeons are fun but they're gonna be wild in pugs
so many wrong directions to run in
I love that ! Nothing better than a good BRD run back then 😄
Unironically this, I've really enjoyed playing through classic era servers
I remember in vanilla beta when I was running with my group passed midnight to get our rogue Ironfoe and we had to do all the dungeon and we ended up finishing toward 3 am xD
Did it drop??
Eventually yes.. xD
Ahhhh bis, bet that was a slog lmao
Wait Brann is working?
That missing chapter is the epilogue, fyi
Had a thought
Does the arachnophobia toggle work on old mobs?
Is maexxna a crab?
It's supposed to, yes.
I'm not sure that was meant to be tameable..
just sort of drifts around with the guy
Also I got to Kaheti Hospitality, which is the quest to witness ascendence day, and without doing that one this character isn't bricked
I don’t think it is supposed to be tameable - I would report that
@ionic terrace those memories are level 80 content eh? I don't recall seeing anything about mythic diffiuclty for the prepatch
it's kinda funny that we're basically pretending BfA and Shadowlands didnt happen as much as possible lol, this is basically just The Woons again
Hmm, hit 80 on a second character and didn't seem to get access to WQ or weaver dailies or anything
Maybe cause I couldn't hand in the quest at isle of dorn that unlocks adventure mode
Radiant chords are not something to do with low ilvl on classes that suck at soloing
i love that part of the soundtrack
Dude chill you don’t gotta spam em
Dynamic flight and sky riding are the same thing, one of them is probably the placeholder name for the other and they haven’t all been made to the same thing
it would have to be level 10, since that's the level you can go to the Dragon Isles at
and that's becoming the new 10-70 in TWW
spell flags are always so funny out of context
It’s 100% level 10
That’s how it works on the alpha
Especially since Dracthyr now start at 10 and need to be able to soar and fly
would this be soloable content or is it open world content for everyone to join?
it's open world
so how can u choose the difficulty then if its open world. or is it solo open world
The max level is playable in alpha??
seems to be the end of the leveling campagin
Are there others not shown in the above screen?
Sorry, if your willing to say 😂
just generic npcs
any dialogue with any of them?
no
Huh interesting
Maybe they're keeping it hidden.
Was there anything like, setting up a Basecamp or anything with them arriving?
there's a whole bunch of campaign steps at max level that I believe come after this
yeah you set up a faction embassy
it keeps porting me out so i didn't get it see it
lol
Not in the way you're thinking, I'm sure
they haven't really existed that much in the past
They did keep renown stuff hidden in DF, as well as various patch quest content
I suspect we'll see some of it, but there's gonna be a big reveal that's hidden
although there's a lot of speculation that seems to be somewhat converging
It just clicked for me that we're gonna have a troll raid in 12.0 and that's why they're reintroducing Danath and Kurdran
Two noted enemies of forest trolls
WoW twitter will throw a fit
I stg all I see is “Amani villain bat” every time I open twitter
Eh
but is true
imagine a movie made today about how the african slaves were the bad guys
I mean it makes sense for them to turn to the void. Their loa have clearly failed them.
same shit
I mean they were the og group that dealt with xal atath
If anything they’re the people that’d hate it the most
Personally I think it makes sense for the Amani to join up with the horde and alliance for midnight. The voidwell- I mean sunwell being right next to them and all
All we have is a recent void trail going right to Zul Aman
And they hate hate hate the blood elves
Even in BfA we beat up their priests and Loa over and over as a world quest
Yeah but the Amani joining the very same person who slaughtered and tried to enslave thousands of their kin?
If anything I’d imagine they’d just want to live in peace
Or join with the people who slaughtered thousands of their kin...
Zul'jin was right / did nothing wrong
Zul Aman isn't exactly prime territory, it's why they're allowed to keep it.
There’s a difference between two groups not getting along, and a cosmic force looking to murder everyone and using you to do it
If anything, keeping them there now is more of a strategic necessity as an additional bulwark from the Scourge spawning from the Dead Scar and the Plaguelands
Blood elves and Amani not getting along because they share the same land and disagree on who owns it is different than Xal’Atath literally just being batshit insane
That gave me a sensible chucklesnort
I personally just want playable Amani too tho so I’m probably biased
I say this as a belf paladin
You can technically already play green trolls.
They'll likely never add the bulky type
They'd probably be a nightmare to rig armor on
We already got kul tirans and pandas tbf
I know it's not right, but a tribe as desperate as the Amani I could see a few giving in to the void and those leaders enslave the rest
I don't see how it would be too hard. It'd end up looking like and orc body on troll rigging
Like I can see it and I wouldn’t be surprised, but I’d find it really lame
Same tbf
I mean if it makes you feel better I bet we get to kill some Blood Elves in the palace dungeon
It would
Though they'd look like void elves
My guess is the void trail vanished in Zul aman probably because of kith’ix’s corpse
Wouldn’t shock me if xal is trying to bring back her general again
They said the trail was recent.
Yes
I'm hoping next expansion encourages more players to play goblins. We saw a small population boom during BFA, but then vulpera stole a ton of thunder for obvious reasons positive and negative
So it’s there trying to revive kith ix
Undermine hopium
My hope is undermine is the raid for the elun’ahir zone
Then the raid is made the capital city for goblins
Sort of like mechagon for mechagnomes
Or it can be a mega dungeon 🤷♂️
Seeing trolls pop up in stories relating to the Black Empire and pre-Titan Reshaping Azeroth is always a good, positive tickle for me tbh. The ancient Zandalari Empire was basically the only major culture standing against the Black Empire and the Old Gods back then, so seeing trolls in these stories makes so much sense to me
I love trolls. I remember being so damn hyped for zandalar
Then, honestly pretty let down
Zandalar and kul tiras should’ve been separate expansions imo. Didn’t match the scale they should’ve been
It was always rlly funny to me how they tried to justify the tiny zones in BFA and SL.
“Well deathwing actually sunk half the island!”
“See since the anima is being drained, the zones are shrinking!”
Im SO glad the zone design has changed
Nah, I personally enjoyed it. It also made sense to involve the Zandalari in the same expansion as the Kul Tirans, since at the time both were unknown knowns and had significant parallels as naval powers (and semi-independent ghosts of their former selves, in their own ways)
Yeahhh
The Bilgewater cartel already has a capital.
In fact it's one of the most impressive Horde cities
The Zandalari Empire can be huge without Zandalar itself being massive. People forget that Portugal was also the seat of a naval-mercantile trade empire once
Only one small cartel of goblins joined the Horde
Eh, I mained a goblin warlock in MoP. It didn't stick
She's still in her old level 90 gear
But yeah--while the Steamwheedle Cartel has had a long history with the Horde in one form or another, only the Bilgewater Cartel are full formal allies
But undermine is the capital for all goblins I thought. It was a tunnel network under Kezan
I mean it’s gotta have some relevance since we got the datamined weapons and the dialogue from alpha from npcs mentioning it
And ofc Gazlowe and Thrall being major characters
We're likely gonna fight a void Gallywix who takes it over.
Gives them a reason to reuse the Gorefiend model again
"Neutral" territory where the Trade Princes organize and direct their cartels, industries, guilds, and corporations while serving as a coordination/delegation location, yeah. Basically like a trade parliament between the cartels
let's goooo
Volksworgen
Nice
indeed
I probably won't get in alpha since it's only a couple more weeks
I wanna see gallywix go full gorefiend. Make him a crazy monstrosity or something
Super pumped to get into beta. Finally getting around to upgrading my pc for TWW and next few generations. Hallowfall is gonna look beaauuuttiful
Bloodborne ass bodyhorror Gallywix
YES
I wouldn't mind seeing him just as the returning mustache-twirling Saturday morning cartoon villain that he is
Or some GIGANTIC mech
Like we can keep fighting him without killing him off in one big thing
Kind of like how Azshara used to be/is
He's been building up to this final Gambit I feel, but he is the ultimate survivor
ugh but I don't want and we don't need a final gambit!
lmao
`“I never cover up the things I'm proud of. If the world was gonna split in half tomorrow, I’d buy the Dark Portal, slap a toll booth on it, and charge refugees the last of their pocket change, the rings off their fingers, a bite of their sandwiches, and a contractual obligation to build me a rocket palace in the skies of Nagrand. It’s the goblin way! Supply and demand! Deal with it!”
— Jastor in his autobiography`
Like, he's the perfect perpetual B-villain
Also one of our most realistic ones
He's been behind half the crap since cata
Regardless his story is likely coming to a climax if we're getting an Undermine raid
Like, just have him keep showing up to profit off of someone else's BS
I want a faction of goblins and gnomes allied with the void that replace body parts with shoddy engineering
Like void mo'arg
Technovoid
The void doesn't like machinery though--it almost always replaces it with organic material
Like with the Curse of Flesh
They swing to disorder. Machinery is order, even if malfunctioning--because if it's malfunctioning then that means it still has a proper function, it's still part of the binary true:false dichotomy of Order
Machinery and technology that gets built to channel the Void also usually ends up wanting to be destroyed or destroys itself because it doesn't want to be bound
It's been one thematic consistency in the storytelling I've always liked
So we have a spider raid, a goblin raid, and then troll raid. All we're missing is the final raid of TWW that leads to Midnight
Which will ofc be a Void/Black Empire raid, if anything
Probably some underground zone closer to Uldum
Unless they're saving the forge of origination and Uldum for TLT
I still think there's a chance it could be the capital city of the Arathi Empire
If they wanna break up the underground
They're already modeling out all the midnight zones and I'm sure the first raid.
So they can be leaving clues to it
Something something Avaloren something
I don't think Avaloren can wait until 14.0 since their Emperor fully intends to fight in the final battle vs the void
They've had 15 years to find a way to send another Armada through the storms.
Imagine if they land in Azuremyst
Instead of focusing on sending another fleet through the storms, they could have also been building forces and bunkering down to prepare
They know the battle isn't on their soil, thus the Hallowfall expedition
I can't imagine an emperor following a divine vision giving up after one group of ships
Yeah, but they're expecting a way forward to be opened up. If their entire focus was to have everyone ready to go it would make sense too
Not "giving up"
Just continuing to prepare for the next stage
Those portals shouldn't have taken 15 years
Okay yes that's true but that's not my point. It's like when you give someone too much time waiting to get ready to go out and they keep over-preparing and gussing up and putting on more to their outfit or adding accessories or packing more stuff in their pockets and now they've got a backpack all because your exit off the interstate was blocked
They didn't abandon going out, they just had more time to get ready to the point they're over-prepared
Is what I'm saying
That's a totally logical expectation
Doesn't feel like it to me unless the Emperor was told it'd take that long
I still don't think you're getting it. They're still expecting the way forward to be opened up, but it's just taking longer. Instead of finding another way forward, they're just spending more time on the "getting ready to go" phase
I could just totally see another contingent of the Empire showing up and seeing people they think are demons.
I am getting it, I just disagree on it being rational unless they have a reason to expect it to take that long
The plan was a small force to open portals so they could spend years building up their forces in the old world.
Well you don't expect to over-prepare either, you just do it because you've got the extra time now that you weren't expecting
Yes, exactly, and it's rational to expect them to continue building up their forces if they're given more time to do so
It's a continuation of that exact line of logic you just said here
That does nothing to let them actually set up an entire colony in the old world that can host their entire empire. A plan that was clearly supposed to take years do properly since they're literally preparing for the "final battle"
An empire of holy zealots won't sit out that just because no call came home
Either we're opening a portal to Avaloren this expansion early on or we're going to see a larger force coming under the assumption the old world has already fallen or something
We don't even know if it's the same faction of light sending the visions that rescued the Hallowfall
Azeroth can work through warm glows too after all
My primary theory is Blizzard is just gonna copy the Seanchan plot some
has gazlowe always been monte gazlowe? i didnt know he had a first name
Yep
That would be cool to see. Haha 😂
at least Dog survives Dalaran
Ok. Tinfoil hat conspiracy theory. They nuked Dalaran because they're trying to not have a reusable neutral hub.
We already had Dalaran twice. The second one being Lagaran.
They're gonna rebuild it better, bigger and less laggy
where the hell else will we set up in TLT
Hope they rebuild it same as it is in Warcraft movie.
I don't know. Just take a piece of Karazhan and fly with it.
Medivh looking through the windows like G-Man in Half Life 1. Always close, but only just out of reach.
Even though we have void story starting heavily
It wouldn't surprise me if 1st raid is the only void raid we get
Emerald nightmare set up nzoth and such in bfa after it
Xalatath brought us here, she'll probably continue being one step ahead whilst we deal with other stuff on khaz algar
Before we catch up in midnight
I do get the feeling that the arathi were sent to the light crystal with maybe not clean intentions
Like maybe their light emperor is the light harbinger equivalent and knew what he was sending them to because he needed it
Yeah, I feel like light Vs shadow is a bit of a misdirection
I think the crystal is just here for the same reason shadow, titans, fel and life are
Its gonna be a big rumble between all the cosmic forces
And ultimately be more about mortals taking control
I'm also wondering if death aligned forces will show up
I think the crystal itself isn't that important, it seems like it was forced into the roof at some point, whatever else is down here came before it
It's also pointing at something deeper, maybe
The only cosmic force not really, represented in the Worldsoul Saga- so far, is death.
So I wonder if we might see anything
It wouldnt be far fetched that they are on Avaloren.
1- Titan come, order the world of Kalimdor, Avaloren is in an unkwnown state at this point
2- A long time after, some fracture happens in titan forged society, and those on Avaloren cut all ties with their brethren from Kalimdor, and Odyn
3- Odyn call them heretic and send some expedition there to restore the ties but ultimately every expedition is destroyed.
4- Avaloren is slated as forbidden territory, the seas are called " forbiddin sea " and " veiled sea " and story of creature and horror are made to prevent anyone going there
5- Titan society on Avaloren eventually caught the curse of flesh, devolved over time, humans and half elves or whatever are born, and over time, built an empire that is the Arathi Empire.
6- Some pilgrim ( from Avaloren ) tries to go to see the world and went into the forbiddin sea, eventually were caught in a tempest and survivor ended up in what would become Arathi Highlands, creating an offspring of the Arathi Empire but without any mean to reach their homeland, they eventually settle there and mingle with the nascent human nation there and would lose their origin through time
I’m pretty sure the Arathi empire was established BEFORE avaloren was found
How ? Avaloren was already mentionned in Odyn edict and the human were not yet a nation and not even tribe but some mutation
Gonna jump into the Alpha soon - anyone have any specific requests that haven't been covered by content creators?
Loot eligibility, etc
I mean at this point the only Arathi Empire we know is the Arathor empire that no longer exist
Because they’re the last remaining part of that very same empire?
They’re all half elves. The same demographic after the troll wars when the elves of silvermoon and Arathi grew very close
So you mean they were sent into the future ?
No…?
3,000 years ago they sailed across the ocean
As apart of the same empire
We just haven’t had contact with them
Oh, ok I get it, you mean the Arathi, ( the one of Arathor ) , sent an expedition to Avaloren, and then the built an Arathi nation on Araloren and created an offspring of the empire there ?
and 15 years ago some of those Arathi came back and ended up in hallowfall
Yeah, that’s what all signs point towards
It's fairly possible too
We don’t even know if Odin’s report is talking about the Arathi. Even if it was, they’re only heretics because of what they “did to Innaria and the other keepers.”
For all we know there might be some keepers that abandoned the titans and left with the Arathi
There were already keepers and '" heretics " there. I'm betting on a keeper named Merlin somehow xD
Wouldn’t shock me in the slightest lmao
I’m thinking like Transformers 5. Giant round table titan robot keepers
But I'm thinking that there are not only forces of Order, but of void, fel, light and life there, Odyn flagged them as heretics and said that it would be in their nature to " destroy each others "
And the secret of Azeroth questline reveal an object that has void scripture, fel, and titan on it, that was apparently kept / locked by Tyr as a secret
Yeah, in that case they could be talking about arathi. “It’s in the nature of mortals to destroy each other” kinda thing
My hope, and what I’d be super interested in seeing is a Titan keeper who succumbed to the curse of flesh
I must reread odyn edicts, I'm not sure human were there at that moment, but I'm not even sure we can date this anyway
oh we can date them, I forgot that part
It has been brought to my attention that, as of late, many of you have become fascinated by the emergence of mortal beings. That is, creatures born of flesh rather than crafted of stone and steel like our loyal titan-forged.
While my initial impulse was to eradicate these aberrations before they evolved further, I now believe they may prove useful if properly controlled.```
Oh. So the keepers probably tried to “order” the humans
The arathi fought back, then fled across the ocean so that they couldn’t be followed
What is astounding is that line
The resources required to breach their lines are simply beyond our current capabilities. At least, not without jeopardizing containment of the prisoners in our charge.```
How the fuck some humans had the military capacities to resist titan tech ?
Light maybe
Potentially dragons
There was that thing in emerald dream about dragons that flew across the ocean
Yes, but I can understand the state of Azeroth under the leadership of Odyn if they can't even keep some heretics in check on the other side of the sea
It made titan forged looks weak, but there again, maybe they had the help of another force since they apparently killed some titan keeper and such
I'd laugh hard if the one responsible were US , sent into the past to witness those events
What's the offchance that Avaloren houses the unseen Titan facility, Uldaz?
Or even Uldis?
Yeah there is certainly one there, but one of those two might be the one in Khaz Algar, since apparently its an important facility, it'll be treated the same way as Uldorus imo
Uldorus was reduced to just a single dungeon lol
I still don't know why Tyrhold has it's own chat channels at stuff
He introduces himself by name in Ratchet during leveling questing
Ratchet is and has always been his town
does he? I recently did those quests on SoD and I don't recall that... but who knows
Don't forget he was first designed (and even voice acted) in the canceled Lord of the Clans game
Back in the 90's
Gazlowe is an older character in the setting than Sylvanas
Oh that’s nice
honestly not a lot of content in this build
im expecting next build to be testing end game questing or delves or something
hope 13th Delve is not testable
it wont be
underkeep is bugged too
treasure room wont open
i can't wait to listen the soundtrack of Midnight
omg
TWW hasn't even come out and I already want midnight to arrive
That's the problem with hype trains looking too far ahead--it can be harder to appreciate what you already have or are about to get
personally im good with that, really hype with TWW and want to enjoy it
wait are the delves open now?
They will be allied race?
they are open
underkeep is broken
bosses are more interesting mechanically than the ones from ringing deeps or hallowfall
still a bit too simple
ah
oh they fixed my stuck character too
things chunk you but as a hunter i had my meat shield
huh - revives matter?
ye
but i appreciate that you could die 10 times and still get SOMETHING
i thought above 8 didnt give extra ilvl tho
yeah thats the 8
and also warbound
Delving as a verb means to reach inside, excavate, or search something. A delve as a noun is another word for an excavation, dungeon, cave, or digsite that you're meant to explore. Delves are going to be a gameplay feature in TWW:
https://www.wowhead.com/guide/war-within/delves-overview
oo thats nice
vet track is kinda weak, what does it give in vault, hopefully at least champion?
M+5 equivalent
idk
How did you unlock tier 11
But it also requires main story campaign?
i think completing the zone counts
since i think previous zones are flagged as complete
well, I can't go to dornogal to hand in the quest there :(
and this too LMAO
beefy brann
tbh without my pet i most likely would have died
a single spell hit me for 1m+
heh, the "do x delve without dying" gives titles
Nice
I assume Undying Caver and Immortal Splunker which ofc are refs to Naxx
Gotta be at least one lol
@silent urchin his dmg/healing buffs do increase with level
i think 5% per level
so 250% at max
Makes sense. I'm pretty sure he picks up new spells occasionally
seemed like interupt at level 5
yeah from 1-8
then i guess it's just the other slots and buff after
i messaged you in game about stuff
i find doing delves as a tank is very effective
which makes not doing M+ or raids nice, especially since tanks are a limited role in both of those
curious what doing a delve with multiple people is like
@ionic terrace how did you get enough xp for 80?
possible login screen music? It sounds like it towards the end https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7FbxHCf4Ss&t=11s
World Of Warcraft : The War Within - Login Screen Music?
If you like my content, you can support me by donating at https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/kaybris
crafting
though it stops a bit before 80
fuck brann wont open this delve treasure room either
no
login music is the last track written and recorded
because it uses part of every zone's theme
wtf
i finally port out
and after standing at the door and the port finishing - bran begins to cast dynamite
WTF
ok im done until next build
or im gonna kill someone
if you die more than three time it doesnt count toward weekly vault ? that's stinky
Should be like M+ , it count in the weekly vault no matter what, you just get lower loot
it was clearly a bug
i dunno why they need to make an article for that
what is the event about?
there was a lot of stuff in the datamining, although not really clear
seemed like another world event where you get a mix of personal tasks to do
soup
God it’s like they didn’t learn from the other one hour events
It’ll get finished in 10 min and if you arrive late you won’t get to do it
oh wow, I totally missed an email about the research center.
no idea if they'll need me cause I don't live near Irvine but we'll see
na its like that cuz its solo content if u cant do it solo why get benefitted from it
I feel like these creatures haven’t been talked about enough. Love this model
we dont know a lot about them
they show up in ahj'kahet and hallowfall
and theyre using the black blood stuff for their own purposes i think?
theyre sort of an unknown
they literally are
Or some sort of hybrid
theyre called dark jinyu in the files
theyre like how jinyu are evolved murlocs
these are evolved versions of those deep murlocs
Ah I see
Interestingly there's some ankoan on the files
Maybe we will learn how they came to be
arent thse Jinyu that just separated from the rest of their kin to make their own thing ?
I mean perhaps we will learn how they went from Jinyu/Ankoan to Kobyss
Ankoan are just deep sea Jinyu essentially
Probably the same way Murlocs went from Murlocs to Jinyu when exposed to the sacred pools in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms
I think they may be corrupted directly from the jinyu/ankoan
there's some hints that they're currently being empowered by the black blood, although they were around before that
I'm also a little confused by the black blood cause it was linked to the sword/fel but it doesn't seem very fel
it was never linked with that 🤨
The black blood was the blood of yogg Saron originally that contaminated the water of the Dragon isles bassin, turning it into dark water. Galakrond drank from it and became corrupted, forcing Odyn and Tyr to build the halls of Infusion to cleanse the water from the old gods corruption, it is essentially the blood of the Old Gods
All the Old Gods have Black Blood
ok yes, the black blood in AZJ'KAHET is probably related to an old god or something like one, but it's still strongly implied its been awoken by the sword
it's not called out as being of y'shaarj or anything else
Alpha force setting my keyboard language to american is really really annoying
Well the sword stabbed down in Silithus
That’s right where C’thun’s body is
Morning 🌄
not too much talk about this new zone/build on my timeline
there wasn't new wave of invites
there was, went out on friday though
guildie got in with it
New zone is kinda short, really. The city is neat but most of it seems to be left for the max level campaign
So it's basically Thaldraszus
I really like the setup of Azj Kahet. Reminds me heavily of Suramar with the whole rebellion, stealth in the city and whatnot
Hopefully it lives up to it
ehhh, wouldn't say it's the same as thaldraszus
thal felt like half the side quests just got cut til later, we did get a few areas like the rebels and so on explained later
I think it should end up pretty fleshed out, we just haven't seen it yet cause it's level 80 content
Out of curiosity, do you need to do side quests to hit max level? Or is the main campaign enough as short as it is?
It's hard to say overall, cause we haven't done the full 70 -> 80 in one go yet
azj'kahet by itself, from 0% into 78 on the templates, the main campaign is not enough
but hallowfall I'm pretty sure I capped early and that was 3 levels
Its also pretty likely that xp will get adjusted at some point
It does feel like the main campaign is only "short" because they pulled out a bunch of the tangents and made them side quests
like in ringing deeps there's a whole section after the msq dealing with foebreaker which seems pretty important and is the sort of thing that would have definitely been main campaign in df
but TWW is far more focused if all you want is to power through zones
Gotcha. Honestly I don’t mind that at all. Their new way of doing side quests, where they actually contain interesting stories and arcs, and reward you with rep/stones is sooooo much better than what we had pre DF
Also allows people to pick and choose which storylines they wanna do while leveling rather than be forced down certain chapters and arcs they might not enjoy
Yeah, throw in a few delves, dungeons or profession stuff and I don't think there's much issue getting to 80
although I'm sure there will be people that skip everything but msq and only get to 78 or 79 and complain
There was in dragonflight
We were actually told at Blizzcon that Xal has the Nerubians gathering the Black Blood of the Old Gods for her.
fair enough
Presumably used for ascension?
And I guess kobyss are literally doing the same via whatever they recover from the nerubian sewers/waste
Yeah. But also at least personally I didn’t really enjoy the dragonflight leveling, felt weirdly hollow, so doing that and reaching max and not having enough felt crappy. At least to me, so I get where people are coming from there. But with the way the story is being written, it seems much better imo
CATERPILLAR https://www.wowhead.com/news/evolving-caterpillar-pet-decrypted-in-patch-10-2-7-339670?webhook
i bet this evolves into the caterpillar mount that didnt win the mount vote forever ago
I hope. It looks so cool
@ionic terrace hey, so i tried doing xp from crafting but im not getting xp anymore - what do i do?
im like 25% away from 80....
do i just switch professions or something?
Yeah it stops giving xp at the end, I personally did pet battle quests lol
It will, this was the same on the first build of Thaldraszus, which seemingly Azj-Kahet has a similarly short campaign length to
ugh
My concern is more for the other zones, because unlike Dragonflight’s first three, those don’t seem to be very long either
Peach you could try uhh
So it’s either going to need a LOT of XP padding, or more quests added if they want it to work as a singular way to level up
Making a new template and doing to 78 option then craft then do the quests
I don't think there's any shortage of quests if you do side stuff
side quests
so many of them are story relevant
Yeah I think not having to start at 0 xp will help
the one for magnis hammer is a side quest (tho i dont think it should be)
Side quests shouldn’t be required, is the issue
probably not
That’s why they fixed similar issues in the Dragonflight alpha
I assume some of it might also be alleviated by the dungeon XP from leveling dungeons being required now, though
I did take note the story seemed so small
there's a hell of a lot of side stuff, not just quests. I don't think it's unfair to assume most people will do at least some of it
shortening the campaign so you can do dungeons + msq or side quests + msq or delves + msq or whatever seems decent overall
Perhaps there is just more side stuff and thst balances it out? Most people don't share that stuff as much
I havnt heard much about side quests
I've noted that the main story does seem fast
People went through Hallowfall in like an hour or so
I'd kind of be worried if that were the case, since one of the big critiques is that while side stories are amazing, the MSQ is extremely lacking
so compounding those issues further isn't the best move to fix that lol
Maybe all of the juicy content is packed into side stories so the people who actually play the content are rewarded
/s
I personally want a more involved msq
But I'm mostly wanting something WoW can't deliver
True. It's healthier and less frustrating to not expect something you're not going to get
I love the depth and emotionality that ff14's msq delivers but that game strives to make you the main character
WoW you're a silent observer.
At best you see your character for a second at the start.
i found a sidequest!
in the royal livery
im gonna hit 80!
is this bugged or did no one on the realm i chose do this?
its bugged
What are these? Companions?
yeah
and lets you split between focusing purely on zone resources, profession and zone resources or a mix of zone and valorstones
Cool if we're starting the expansion with more than one time of world content weeklies
bountiful delves have a glowy portal
is te one from LK
the abilities menu works at 80!
Niiice
Did you get the reinforcements arriving quests?
dont think so?
Other people have...hm. I thought it'd be at lvl 80
what is it?
I never got it either
yeah no don t have that
And I also don't have any of the level 80 content
Who got it. Thought it was this channel
we're not really supposed to be testing it yet so a bunch of it probably isn't connected properly
They said it's apparently the final quest of the zone or something
it was me, i got it after turning in the last zone quest
from... alleria i think
and i was able to pick it up at 79 on my first character
doesn't really matter though since a npc isn't spawned a quest after
so is Azjh Kahet going to end up being like a suramar type zone?
I was thinking maybe it'd work for someone else 😭
Like the embassy appearing lol
doubt
yeah and horde will get spooder ppl from it (this is a joke)
Tbh I was kind of suspecting Nerubians becoming playable would happen
But then they ruled out 4 handed races
They did?
yep
they said someting like is too complicate in terms of animations, armor sets etc..
i thought the exact same thing
Fishy scaley night elf illusions, Naga in combat
So this Brann companion will have every week some new abilities?
Damn so these Delves are dungeons I thought this is some new elf race 😆
You're presumably referring to Harronir.
I think Aquarius just saw the "elves" part
You think allied Naga wouldn't take a smaller less traditionally an enemy shape in cities?
Azshara disguises herself as a highborne all the time.
Make this clutch a bit less good at the illusions
No...not at all
Azshara doing it is one thing, but this isn't something like a visage form
Azshara is the one of the greatest mages in existance
Her having an illusion is different than all Naga suddenly having a visage form
I did say it'd be an illusion only for when it town and such
But not all naga are mages
they are all highborne with some magic capacity
Especially if we recruit a clutch that can be any class haha
And in theory if naga could all shape shift as well as Ashara then they haven’t done so in the past when working with other allies? And now suddenly they just can do it no problem to fit in with the more humanoid races?
an illusion
They will not make a naga who can wear armor cause of the whole tail thing
arcane familiar is a bird, might be because sunfury mage idk
or they finally replaced the orb
only way to test would be to do spellslinger arcane
hi, idk if this is the place to ask, but how is Remix: Pandaria going to work?, are the raids coming out all at once or will there be some kind of schedule
You can get into raids as early as lv...30, iirc?
I did play it on ptr. But i do think there's a wowhead article out there (I'm bad at searching their site)
But yeah they were all out at the start, you just need to level up
huh, random heroic queue is open at 80, didn't realise that
... how did I not see this before, this tower has an entire goddamn Inn misplaced ontop of it
oh its right where all the flynn quests are and it definitely wasn't here before
they said that kind of things for many stuff that were unveiled as expansion features later ^^
lfr wings
Nice
Only 3 wings, is it a short raid?
Vault was also three wings
Depends how many bosses are in each, probaly 3.
Yes, a raid for 15 minutes
I'm going to say the obvious thing now, but the wings in the lfr and the wings in the raid itself are different things. In the raid itself there can be as 3, as 4, as 8 wings lol.
it's 8 bosses right?
do we have any idea if it will be possible to solo normal garrosh with a maxed cloak?
or small group?
i know it scales but the cloak makes you VERY strong
Probably can be done with a small group but I didn’t get that far on the ptr weekend. I’d assume with all the gems and tinker slots and cloak it would be pretty easy but we won’t really know
Yeah, I hope it is too or everyone at least gets 2 or so bones a kill and not just 2 bones per kill for the group
new video seems to imply they made SOME changes to stat carry over
looks like versatility is also carried over
iirc you got a bit in the PTR too
cloak seemed less important at max elvel than upgrading gear with bronze
given all the gems scale with gear ilvl
fair
anyone tested if for remix pandaria i will be able to create another dracthyr or do i have to delete the one i already have?
you probably have to use another realm
one per realm rule probably still applies
still isnt removed on the alpha
but i bet it will be now that they start at 10
maybe
they already fixed the mail thing
they might not allow existing b/c guild bank
i really hope that they remove the 1 dracthyr per realm restriction, it sucks that guilds arent cross-realm yet
dracthyr restriction will probably be removed once they actually start at 10 with prepatch
yeah i know, but i want to be in the same guild as my friends while playing pandaria
I'm very excited to be able to have xrealm alts in guilds
I played both Horde and Alliance on the same realm so I could still send items/gold, but I'm glad this is going to be helpful for other people who were tricked into feeling obligated to make them on other realms
didn't they confirm the 1 evoker per realm is still in play for remix.
yeah pretty sure
Wasn't it the same for DH's until BFA?
Or was it earlier? Idk I don't pay attention to elves
i think SLs lowered them to 10
unless chromie time was later
or the level squish?
They were knocked down to 10 with the level squish yeah but I mean more the limit to how many
Not their starting level
i thought that was at the same time
So if things stick according to what we already know, the 1 evoker limit should change sometime in TWW
they added the pic and a better description
new vendor3 build
probably first deploy for thursday to test things
hopefully earthen are working again
Kinda hoping we get it earlier so it doesn't clash with remix launch
my guess is all zones will be open but this will focus on max level questing/end game loop so theyll probably flag all level-up or at least story quests as complete
doesnt remix launch tomorrow?
thursday
I'm still expecting beta by the end of the month
eh
maybe 2nd week of next month
i think we have at least 3 builds left for alpha
theyll want to do a full run-through
Ion said shortly after the 4th zone and all hero talents are in.
3 months of beta before prepatch sounds right to me.
It's already an issue that we're probably 9 weeks away from talents being locked in until 11.0.5
And they've only done one tank so far.
all hero talents arent in
I’m assuming the main reason all hero talents is because art/ animation/ vfx hasn’t been completed
nope
theyre not finished yet
theyve done placeholder visuals before
this is alpha
if theyre not implemented its because theyre non-functional or not designed yet
We don't even know if the combat design team replaced all the people who left during DF.
We know totemic is basically ready and odds are it's coming this week to test.
After that we're missing what, one rogue tree?
yes
There seems to be a massive disparity in care given to hero trees just comparing like mage and warlock to hunter.
class design is still VERY not finished
thats why i think we have at least 3 builds left
Indeed, but class design continues into beta
3 builds is May 30th which is my personal guess on beta
at least
I mean they need to test endgame too. Beta = feature complete
We don’t even know what’s going on with Azj Kahet’s endgame rn
The zones seem done, they have various end game content stuff ready to test
Delves are in and all dungeons
We're missing just two hero talents for feature complete
they HAVE TO TEST THEM THO
we dont know theyre ready to test
they havent been tested
Df beta started with initial talent trees too
We aren't going to see iteration on every hero tree before beta starts. The combat dev team just works too slow
So long as something is in that functions at all it's enough
They honestly have a stricter time frame with the base trees than hero trees since if DF beta is the template we have until 7/20 for changes to those before they are locked for prepatch
At work so I can't dive into the gap between the last DF initial tree and beta
something that wont change even 2 years into the expac and now
Arcane Mage having 3 whole reworks since 10.0
It just hit me like a sack of bricks that we're gonna get Motherlode in season 2.
I hate that place so much
I'd wager the brewery dungeon is s2 cause goblins too
is that confirmed or just an speculation because of the goblin patch?
Goblin raid items were datamined similar to underground
Given they gave us Neltharus and Nelth's lair alongside Aberrus, it would make sense.
I know the legacy dungeons were confirmed, but were the TWW ones were?
i think they did
they got datamined
Yep, goblin dungeon s2
There's no way they do undermine without the dungeon literally set on the surface of it
one map or something named goblinraid
not items
singular object
still enough with all the other goblin stuf
One staff weapon, INV_Staff_2H_Goblin_D_01, with 6 recolors (pic from keyb)
And one offhand weapon's icon, INV_Offhand_1H_GoblinRaid_D_01
This looks like something that could be the objective of something like Dragonwrath 2.0. 🤞
My guess is a city much like the nerubian city with a raid chillin on the back lot of the city.
you know, everytime i see the crystal in hallowfall, i start to think about allerias vision in regards to the voidbeings imprissoned in a mountain of lightcrystal. Maybe the crystal is a prison, and something is inside the crystal which was reawakened by the stab of sargeras sword
Undermine wasn't made of only one city.
and xala'tath will release this thing imprissoned inside the crystal
in the end of the war within.
It's speculated that Old Gods came from those crystal. There is a legend of pandaria saying that there was five sun in the sky and those fell on earth. Turning void, those crystal could become void god, and then turn into fleshy being aka old gods
Could be, but this would not explain why this crystal change in phases of dormancy toward a light appearance, would it be not stay the entire time void if that is the case?
nope because those crystal, like the Naaru's Muru, can be infused by light to prevent them turning to void and vice versa
I'm still not convinced the crystal is all that important. It looks like it's been pushed into the ceiling of the cavern based off all the cracking around it - that makes it relatively new
the titan facility, nerubians, possible dead old god and world tree are likely all older
and there were all here for something
yeah some legend of Arathi said it fell from the sky, but it could also come from within , like being expulsed from the heart of Azeroth, thus, it would explain why a " fissure " appeared and the titan send the Earthen there
Maybe. But I'm more and more convinced they're going to have all the cosmic forces fighting over whatever it is
we've got 5 so far, and lore items in the zone tease the tunnels to azjol nerub, i.e. a big ol highway to the lich king for the 6th
Life and Death are in harmony on Azeroth thanks to amirdrassil, I guess next forces to fight and to be brought into the harmony of Azeroth are the light and the void. And the lasts one would be Order and Disorder
Azeroth will become the Fulcrum of the cosmos, the Harmony that will make all in balance, as the Oracle of Zereth Mortis said
"She saw millions of creatures encased in luminous crystals the size of mountains, sustained by the Light and unable to die"
And that crystal has the size of a mountain, as far as i saw. Hrmm, could be, but there is another reason i would like to pount out:
Which being on azeroth should be able to do that, we never - so far as we know - had a big light presence in terms of naarus there, we never had something like a lighttitan there, so which being could be able to purify an amalgan of different old gods ?
An'she // Elune
An'She is only a myth, we don´t know yet which role he plays if he playes one
Elune created the Naaru so it should be easy for her to do such a thing
My feeling is that Elune will have nothing to do with this crystal. They wouldn't "bring" Elune twice, so to speak, she already plays a big role with the roots indirectly from Elune'Ahir.
Anyway the giant crystal seems to be a Naaru's ship. Beladar, Vindicaar, Exodar.. etc
And if this crystal has really only appeared there relatively recently, the fresco where you see an old god and the crystal makes even less sense in the one dungeon.
Would somehow be the most boring answer if it only turns out once again that Naaru are really bad starship pilots.
I think it's intentional and it's pointing at something
It was named Beledar by the Arathi though
And it looks like it sticks to other Arathi naming conventions as well
It would have to be a major coincidence
So that crystal isn’t a piece of sword?
no
Silithis is much farther north
woo
I'm referring to the high odds the Motherlode is a legacy dungeon in s2.
yes, tied to the goblin raid thematic of S2
Goblin_D-goblin’s dungeon?
Oh, I'd Bet money on that
I'm currently thinking of an idea that it might originally be a void Naaru crystal
I hate the dungeon so much, but odds are they'll rework it massively.
They won't let it be you death skip an entire third of the dungeon
The mural on the wall shows a giant purple crystal above the nerubians
Not really. The Herald of the Sun paladin tree calls him out by name
it's sorta shaped like the Dark Heart, but it's letting off rays of light like Beledar.
The crystals design isn't exactly the same as other light aligned aesthetics
Also, I just realised that it could be the crystal that ashbringer is from
Perhaps a fragment split off
Maybe the void crystal in sod is another fragment
The ashbringer was originally a void crystal before being bombarded with light and turning into light
That’s actually an amazing point
I don’t think anyone’s mentioned that
Makes even more sense considering Magni is a major part of the expansion. Him being the one who forged it and all
Nobody knows
Ashbringer is also just a big paladin thing which is a storyline in general this xpac
The crystal got the same marking as Oshu'gun around, its likely the same stuff so a naaru ship 😦
It’s definitely not
I mean those are just light runes
We've also found Naaru in the wild being void
It’s probably always been there
Dark star
Or been there a VERY long time
Also something worth noting. K’ara, the naaru who was injured during the crash on draenor, went into their void state after a major injury. The crystal itself went void after Sargeras stabbed the planet
I think it's a safe assumption to think it could have crashed
Even if its been there a while
How would it have gotten there?
Fell very hard
It makes more sense if the titans placed it there or it’s literally part of the titan
Where’s the crater?
It’s underground, not connected to the surface
Underwater? Then got covered over the potential thousands of years its been there
They don’t do that in wow tho
Do what
Stuff from thousands of years ago is still visible in wow
My personal tinfoil theory: it’s related to An’she. I know not to take the folk and fairy tales of Azeroth too seriously but just hear me out. It’s said the “earthmother” aka Azeroth, placed An’she and Elune into her “eyes” to keep them safe. Now we got Elun’ahir and a giant light crystal. Could be tied to those two
The maelstrom, the world trees etc
Yeah but this is in the middle of the ocean
Do we know if the crystal crashed there with the Hallowfall expedition or was it there before them?
Could literally have been there pre sundering
Unconfirmed
We're still assuming the crystal crashed
And that it's even a ship
Because, again, the Arathi named it Beledar
its possible. An'she has been " stung " by the shadow and Elune couldn't heal him.
But, the " Fissure " of Khaz Algar could've been a place where this ship crashed. This ship having crashed DURING the black empire, its light inhabitant turned to void and depicted in the mural we all know now.
I highly doubt it’s a ship. And if it’s a naaru it’d be so lame imo. The light needs something new. Not just more windchimes
It's not necessarely the Naaru. But what was before them
I almost wonder if blizzard is going to make Amitus canon through the crystal tho. She had light connections and vanished after Sargeras went nuts
That said- I hope it’s like a healing pod thing for An’she
Would be perfect for midnight. If this is the big stand of the light vs void, we need at least one pantheon member there
I hope it can be related to An'she. and its heart is the stuff Xal bring around, and like the heart of Azeroth, filling it with void turn that thing to void progressively
I'm assuming it's naaru, and I don't think it crashed but it's certainly been forced in to the roof
The contrary, An'she and Mu'sha were her eyes plucked out to the sky!
And what if the sky was not the sky back then but a roof? A bit like the Platon's allegory of the cavern
She plucked her eyes, instead of putting them in, that's why we have sun and moon in tauren mythos.
What if we assume the inverse, if naaru can go void when injured
They are supposed to chase each other and the tauren only know the outside world for now. 😁
A void crystal crashes, injured falls to the light
or so we have been told. The titans rewrote everything
Well, she gave birth to them first. Then put them in her eye sockets, THEN took them out again
It's now starting to recover
and she became the blind crooked serpent with no eyes :p
Everyone hyperfixates on An'she or Mu'sha and completely overlook and forget about Lo'sho
Lo’sho is the winter queen
Most likely
Referred to as the White Lady's child, not her sister
she was also blue. Like the Winter queen.
It wouldn't be logical for Beledar to be that, at least for now, and it's already too well established with the benedictions.
Lo’sho was the Earthmother’s child. She couldn’t raise it tho so she handed them to An’she and Elune
Yes, but the Blue Child and Lo'sho are never referred to as a sibling, but as the White Lady/Mu'sha's child
They are siblings
It's from tauren text, not titan one! But I wouldn't be surprised TWW explain how titans lied about Black Empire!
Not according to The Embrace
In Odyn's text they said that they had to rewrite everything the mortal races know to subvert them to Order and make them believe everything is from the titan and that the Black Empire was an horrible era
Lo'sho is only the sibling in tauren mythology
Yes and that’s like the point
And a younger sibling, at that
If we’re using the name Lo’sho it’s Tauren
A bit extrapolating but well.. I do think too we will learn about the Black Empire having done some neat things, especially about free will.
Well it could be something related to him. Like a piece of him or like his cradle
The only part I could see tied to him is that he was wounded by the Void...
Still, going off of tauren logic, Lo'sho was the fallen tear
But
Anyway there is a whole fkd' up thing regarding Mu'sha, Lo'sho and An'she. The grimoire clearly state that the winter queen and Elune were together at some point and then parted way to assume their respective role in the framework of the First Ones. So the Winter Queen we know is a construct using the soul of Lo'sho
It was millenia ago for An'she, only Legion for Beledar.
We assume
We assume yes.
I'm still distanced from the Naaru connection after learning that the name came from the Arathi
I wouldn't be surprised if An'she was dead, and Elune used his body to forge the Naaru from it to propagate its light throught the cosmos, and what we see is the remnant of his heart
Well the Hallowfall expedition landed at beledar 15 years ago. Around wrath.
But the tauren channel the Light through An'she 🤔
We don’t know if beledar landed with them but it seems from those in alpha it was there before
And they do said it shifted only during Legion, the day Sargeras strike. 😁
I highly doubt elune made the naaru lmao
Yes, druids too!
no, through their belief of An'she. They just came to the conclusion that Mu'sha, the moon, must have a light counterpart and it was not good to use only the power of the moon and not the Sun
That’s when it went void yes
Yes
Like how most light things respond to pain, go into the void cycle
So for me it cannot be tied to An'she as it was wounded... sooo long ago.
Yes so I imagine a Naaru thing..
I’m not saying the wounds are the same
Blizzard would not have thrown that randomly , moreover, it worked on Light's heart and awakened Xe'ra, so there is a link or a truth behind that
Probably bc Elune is his sister?
Sister of Xe'ra ?
No Anshe.
Oh but yeah as I stated if Elune used An'she's power to forge the Naaru then the link is established
There’s nothing to say she made the naaru. That was speculation based only on the fact that the tear of elune awoke lights heart
Indeed...
What I’m saying is them being family, her presence and relation to An’she probably woke up lights heart
And a old cosmology tome Khadgar found in Karazhan saying that during the First Ordering of Light and Shadow, Elune forged the Naaru
I'm not inventing stuff its said by Kadghar in Legion
:p
It's so Random it might be true cause I don't think blizzard would have thrown that out like that
Key word is “may have created the naaru”
The book itself was guesswork
Khadgar figured it was worth a shot
No dude but the answer to your question is yes
yep, and so that's food for thought because blizzard is never subtle on those stuff, and I think its clearly leading somewhere ^^
Yes and I agree but I don’t believe Elune made the naaru. I’m leaning in more of a different direction
Bc there’s only one actual family in all the pantheons we’re aware of and that’s Elune, An’she, and The Winter Queen. Which is realllllly weird.
Because none of them belong to the same pantheon
as someone else said
Blizzard sets up this piece, with Khadgar theorizing Elune is responsible for the line of X'era's creation, if not all Naaru.
Then later down the line, they confirm Elune has nothing to do with the Naaru, Khadgar was completely in the wrong, and the reason why it worked was something completely unrelated (someone mentioned a core from another Naaru, why not). Is that good storytelling? No, because then we question why the hell they even hyped that connection in the first place.```
And they all seem to sort of diverge very heavily from their established pantheon. Elune, a member of the life pantheon is focused on the stars and moon, An’she is the light but focuses on fire, and the winter queen is of death but looks like she’d belong in the emerald dream
On that point, the Grimoire of Shadowland said that they were together before joigning their respective pantheon.
Yeah
They are as old as the first ones
I strongly believe that Azeroth is their mother
wait is beta up!?
And she’s not being born, she’s waking up
Same, and that she is a First One, or above, or her children are some of the First Ones
No
Rlly just a blanket term for development
Because I think its simpler than renaming the chan everytime TWW change of version
I mean at this current moment it’s not up. We’re still in alpha and will be until smth changes
Hol up I just realised that if the crystal was the og crystal that the ashbringer was from, and was all shadowy. And it started going voidy after the sarg stab. That was also when we used the ashbringer on the stab
So there could have been some like signal sent out
Idk just realising there's some interesting connections
It was implied that the crystal for Ashbringer might have been a fragment of Oshu'gun or a Naaru from Draenor ( the one in Oshu'gun ? )
this was a bit, but it's only an assumption that Beledar saved the Hallowfall.
Azeroth herself has been known to work through warm glows before.
more likely a fragment of K'ara
since she became the dark star, and the corrupted fragment that would later become the Ashbringer was found on an orc warlock
hah, people are stupidly leaking NDA enforced surveys
They confirm that Elune didn’t create Naaru? Where?
Ah ok
What ? Where ?
All we have is Velen saying the magic of Elune felt very much like Naaru and Tyrande got annoyed.
you can probably find it if you want, rather not amplify directly but who'd be stupid enough as a content creator to get an invite to review something early and leak it
Also the fact that the Tears of Elune woke up Light's Heart
I heard servers were down. Is there a build?
no build yet, but alpha is down
It's early but vendor build was yesterday and MoP remix is coming on Thursday
but that might be pretty significantly reframed now that we know the Tears of Elune are probably named after Elune because of Eonar's fondness for her, not directly from her
If they want actual feedback on this build they need it out for tomorrow
It feels like TWW is still so far away but we are like 9 weeks away from talent iteration stopping.
Going off the idea of an August 20th prepatch
builds out

Hello everyone! Here are the changes that you can find in this week’s update to The War Within Alpha: CLASSES The following Hero Talents are available for playtesting in Public Alpha 5: SHAMAN Totemic (Enhancement/Restoration) Totemics excel at unlocking the full power of their totems, strengthening their totems and gaining access to new o...
Entropic Rift is now summoned by Shadow Crash instead of Void Torrent.
Inner Quietus has been redesigned – Shadow Crash deals 400% additional damage to its primary target (was Vampiric Touch and Shadow Word: Pain damage increased by 20%).
Shadow
Shadow Crash now centers on your target, rather than using a reticle to target a position on the ground.``` huh
that's.. probably nice?
makes shadow crash much easier to use
hopefully that means it also follows your target
cause I swear tanks love moving mobs the second I cast it
and it takes a couple seconds to land
... also it doesn't say what we're testing?
Hopefully they've unlocked zones
Wait - demo warlock changes seem good?
Am I wrong?
Like - a bunch of cooldown reductions, full tree reorganized, and lots of new demons to summon
Also disappointed not to see more brew changes but it seems like changes come 2 weeks after the feedback
realms up
New continent load screen
Only the last zone still?
