The lack of that is one of WoW’s biggest weaknesses in building a cohesive story

We waste the entire main bulk of the base xpac on worldbuilding and individual character plots, instead of a full narrative through the zones

Got the feeling that Azshara is gonna try to rule her new black empire, and that Dimensius or another VL will try to hijack this all to consume everything. Azshara being " tired of being bossed around as a lapdog " will probably try to fully take control of the void forces for herself.
With that in mind, and with Metzen saying that we may banish the void, but something unexpected will occurs, I'm on the trend in believing that Light and Shadow will reunite , with Azeroth Influence, and will form the Netherlight forces that will end the future titans timeline and it'll make the titans very very angry.

Truth is, they removed the opt-in. So they fully intend to do the same beta test as usual, but with the " pre ordering " players. It's not an open beta, it's still a closed beta. Making an open beta a few weeks before an early access would be weird anyway

instead of clicking opt-in for beta test like previous expansion, you now pay with you credit cards to be registered on the beta test participant

it's a way to sold more copy for preorder and not invite people who didnt preorder to test the game before buying it I guess 🤷
