Cataclysm Classic Beta is totally broken on macOS, game crashes since latest patch until Metal Legacy is enabled. Game crashes in Uldum at any graphics modes.

There is a real issue rn is that you can farm MM+ which gives infinite loots per week, and not raid, so raid should give you a way to buy some piece of stuff to compensate, based on crest or specific currency you got in raid
Removing the seal was a very bad idea, and they should also allow the weekly chest to count any boss kill per week ( could be the same boss killed in a specific raid difficulty ) to be taken into account too

- Only the xp bonus on the cloak gets applied account-wide. other stats are per-character.
- It will take 2-3 toons in order get max xp bonus.
- Currently on PTR, they are using Chomie Time tech so quest XP drops to nothing once you hit level 60. Currently the only way to get xp is from mob grinding, killing Elites, or farming Mogu'shan Vaults.
- Heroic dungeons appears to use the tuning from S4 Heroic dungeons (480-ish) when green gear caps out at 345 time level. Not sure if running Normal dungeons will give gear that can be upgraded to run Heroic Dungeons or not.
- Sprite event on Timeless isle appears to be a VERY GOOD thread farming event.
- War Mode has been turned off completely in this event. People have tried to leave Pandaria and you seem to be ported back if you do. But if you made it to Oggrimar or Stormwind, you will not be able to turn on War Mode.
- All teleportation trinkets are disabled or removed.
- All portals (Mage portals, DK Portals, normal portals in the world) have either been removed or disabled.
- All profession trainers have either been removed or disabled their trainer abilities.
- Haven't tested the chair in Timeless Isle that ports you to Draenor but I suspect that doesn't work either.
- Heirloom tab is removed but currently you can mail heirloom gear from another toon that is not part of the event to the character.

the issue is that the xp bonus is account-wide so the first 1-3 characters through the event will build up the xp bonus. and any further character will have the max xp bonus

it's also pretty easy to acquire all the ability gems, I think I was done by level 40 or 50 or so
Mains cloak and freshly created alts cloak (this is with the max level threads achievement, so presumably as powerful as alt cloaks get). Main hasn't received any new +exp gain buffs for a while, but if it's not actually shared I guess that's fair
still pretty damn powerful for level 10 but it doesn't feel anywhere near as account wide as we were lead to believe
although 315% extra exp gain from the start is nice
Once you hit 65 and start getting the +12 stat at a time threads it scales real fast, and ultimately the stats on it seem pretty low compared to what you get on gear that's upgraded in ilvl
so I don't think it's super important

We could in theory get the rest of the class specs tomorrow or Tuesday then public alpha/beta Wednesday. Which is why max is saying no stream until Wednesday since he will be traveling and not available to stream until then.
Or the specs and alpha/beta at the same time like “here’s the rest of the hero talents and now test it”
And when blizzard lets a lot of people into the alpha/beta who really won’t lose anything from “leaking it” that’s when they generally lift the nda because it becomes too much of a hassle to enforce
