i dont have enough keys
looks like you can walk back outside through the door
more flags
i dont have a map compare tool, but it seems bigger overall than before
there was a lot of unused area before
there's a number of items referring to that vault, it seems like it's going to be some sort of repeatable scenario
there might be new music
methinks this isnt supposed to be active yet lol
lol
map absolutely isnt right - this is caldera coaster
vrykul shipwreck
ore seams are back
its very pretty
I wonder how good seams are
i see a big primalist area i havent seen before
12 ore - 6 silver, 6 gold
but im max mining
dragonskull island - also those lifts are all over the zone - its nice
Is there a quest to get there?
uh - weird black gem and unnamed undead dracthyr
Or do you just go
no i flew over
theres no bad effect anymore
big cave - empty
undead!
No story quests 😔
its the area from before
Ooh what if we get fancy drac glyphs
the blue things are glowy
looks like blue magic ran wild here
theres snow - i dont think there was any before
it definitely is unfinished but also impressively close to finished
it feels much bigger
like 1/3 the size of other zones - which for a not-major patch is huge
there's an island off to the north too, although nothing on it yet
neat, these exist too
also there's at least one underwater cave
huh
well it's accurately named
im missing 1 glyph
DCd then crashed on relogging
uh oh
can't even get to char screen now
yeah these seem like some long term key investments
gotta unlock all of them to get higher floors it seems
dont know what the currency will be
I got a bunch of keys already, tbh
maybe the artifacts?
seem fairly easy
still havent found 6 dracthyr
i dont think this is the only vault
hence the subtitle - zskera vault: az
wish i could get that since i cant find the freaking dracthyr
Did one of the races, fairly easy on all difficulties
although reverse races seem to be much tighter
the dracthyr quest isnt needed
oh didnt even think of that
trees still biggest enemy
how did you get your keys?
meh, still can't copy my 70
do they show on the minimap or only some?
Some do, at least
engineer teleport has spots
another
Is that part of the vault?
yeah
i meant the vault generally tho
i think its still very WIP
ok
i completed the "use 3 more keys" quest
looks like the active vault rotates each week or every few days based on a brief quest turnin dialogue
so the vault for you looks a certain way each week (i assume different for each person)
that seems to fit with everything else this expansion
i found a journal entry quest item in the vault
and there's loads of purple highlighted lootables that can give keys
so looks like there are lore items scattered
although mostly they give 10.0 loot placeholder
i havent found many
think i tested all i want to test until we have more vault stuff and some working currency
probably because I've been flying around a lot more
seems neat - easily soloable, semi-random, no huge time commitment
i like it
gems probably need to be less common
but i assume thats because they dont have other loot items in the pool yet
I'm ok with them being real easy
i assume youll be able to get gear with currency
they maybe should be SLIGHTLY harder
ie increase mob health by like 10-15% maybe increase their damage by 5-10%
Just need to figure out where talons watch is..
oh
its the little island
right before forbidden reach
the one thats between the fatigue zone
I wonder if its worth looking to see if the furbolg have anything yet
might be
damnit
gonna log back on
:(
heading over
theyre over here right?
Yeah, and also some on an island west of iskara
possibly here ish
although the questgiver is definitely near where you are
can't find any worgen monk npcs yet 😦
ooh ok, I guess I've literally never been back after quests
there are furbolgs in that area too though
i assume pally changes are maybe in?
but overall - not a lot to test yet
oh boy another one
makes sense since most people will be there
go see what the loot is
my guess is keys and temp
XD
found it
all seem to work without any excessively punishing times
did the vast majority first time
there's no timed aspect to the vault, is there?
so does the vault reset each time you enter, or is it fixed for the week and you can just open stuff as much as you have keys for
found a "protective ward of flames" in the vault, I guess that works on chests
Or not
nvm it did work but seems like there's weird stuff blocking you with camera angles
the vaults seem to be static until they change
Makes sense
and in all liklihood, since some of it is upgrades, either each vault has static progression permanently or they reset each week
Guess you can "finish" it each week
its unclear if they reset or not
Yeah, feels like you're going to unlock more?
theres a LOT of doors in the vault
theres 4-5 vaults mentioned in some dialogue
thats 4 including Az
5 might make sense if they match the number of flights
right, got my extra 3 keys
Lets see what that does
I did manage to rescue 6 dracthyr but that quest can't be handed in yet either
ooh ok I got wall hacks and there's definitely a 3rd floor with stuff as well
yeah - the bubbles let you see higher
but i wouldnt be surprised if after you finish the vault, you get another
though realistically, this should only be the patch for 2-3 months
so they essentially need to make each vault last 3-4 weeks
ok 4 floors, 8 per floor (only 5 on ground floor)
so 29 keys for this vault
also I found a bug!
the tinker tron takes all your neltharion gift tokens, not just one, on the repeatable quest
I have been cheated out of useless garbage
time gating seems confirmed

makes sense tbh, the vault key drops will probably be tuned to fit into that timeframe
so that you get enough to unlock all the door, or close to it, by the time the next is found
or maybe its tied to the new rep, who knows
oh i figured it would rotate back and forth between the 4 every few days or every week
is the vaults basically Thunder Vaults again?
maybe? i never did that
No, so far it seems fixed and peristent
yeah, all class trainers can send you to it
Yeah, I spoke to her on an orc priest and she gave this unique dialogue
orc priests are basically shamans who focus on the spiritual side rather than the elemental side
and they exist as a direct result of the Horde PC helping the orc spirits in Nagrand during TBC
the thunder vaults were pretty consistent too
likely connected in some form
Velen's always had his whole "life is the light, and the light is life itself" idea
But that would mean World Souls eat light?
elements arent directly of a cosmic force, like how decay is different from death
Azeroths world soul ate the primal force of Spirit, not Life
The lack of Spirit was why the Elements were so hyper aggressive and dominating
yeah, an orc priests are equating the light to an element of inner spirit
Thats completely different than actual Spirit
@uncut vault Have you seen Rehze/Durak(Thralls children), or Baine/Mayla anywhere?
Baine is getting a questline in 10.0.7
Or really, any tauren at all? They have a lot of files in the database. Lots of lesser known characters- from WC3 and comics
none of the others
I guess it may just not be implemented yet
Really interested what theyre doing with these windtotem, even pulling Ironhoof out of the comics
Baine's quest seems to involve the nokhud, so I think they may be reconciling the tauren with the centaur in some form
In the files there are generic windtotem tauren named like captured, survivor, etc.
So I wonder if the Windtotem made some sort of Exodus to the dragon isles and the Nokhud got them somehow
Then Baine comes to save em
And it isn't a variety of tribes, just Windtotem other than Baine, Mayla, and two others; Ironhoof(from comics) and a man named Tagar Bloodhoof
I hope this time we will see origins of tauren that was supposed to be in Shadowlands
given how they handled elune, its for the best we never got that lol
I don't think this'll have anything to do with tauren origins
they already got enough mess by basically saying "the tauren are the only race in the universe that got Elune's name wrong" lol
Just hopefully character development for Baine and seemingly other tauren. Which is sorely needed
Baine can have some character development. He just needs to stand up.
I think it's pretty much just Baine finally getting some uncomplicated plot where he supports his people and shows that he can be a strong leader
But for what this quote about their corruption then
Blizzard
he's been an aggressively terrible leader for years now

Writers *
They made Baine reaaly bad character
I am so ready for it because I love the tauren
Baine can be a good leader. He just needs some encouraging words from papa Cairne, and Thrall telling him he never forgave Garrosh, though he still mourns him.
But Baine has been so meh
Literally war crimes
And I hope they give these other tauren some nice story too, obviously let Baine shine but the tauren need some secondary peeps.
Mayla.
Theyre cutting deep to bring these tauren characters back so, hopefully it isn't for nothing
Bovan, Tagar, Tam, Ironhoof
Seeing some of the other chieftains would be nice, show that the tauren are more than just Good Tauren, Evil Tauren, and Token Druid Tauren lol
Also, all Grimtotems are buttholes. Just the facts.
Sadly the Windtotem chieftain seems to be the one Windtotem not in the files 🤣
And explaing things wtf about magatha again
Literally Harken(the chieftain) is the only named windtotem not in
tauren haven't really felt like a coalition of tribes since the grimtotem got booted, theyre kinda just all homogenous Baine underlings who do nothing except occasionally show up to direct you to Baine
Yeah.
It is good that they seem to be focusing on at least one other tribe during this questline- plus some Bloodhoof(Baine himself and this Tagar guy).
and Ironhoof, whichever he is in
Give Baine a cinematic, talking to papa Cairne and the tauren tribes showing sympathy and respect.
Oh pls no
Like it'd be nice to have some of them actually confront Baine over his ineptitude in recent years, turn what's been a frustrating plot into impetus for development into a stronger chieftain
The Highmountain may not have gotten extremely in depth but each tribe was still sort of distinct and had their thing going, chieftains had their own personalities and such
Cinematic would be nice but not that
I think they kinda put the nail in the coffin for him doing anything with Cairne again
Mulgore tauren? Other than Baine it is just...names and that is it lol
its kind of a moot plot point at this point because he's already met Cairne as a spirit five times in the story lol
and now Shadowlands basically has Baine say that he doesnt need to talk to his father for guidance anymore
Really? doesn't play Horde
Read books
which yknow, was clearly an excuse for why he was in the xpac and did nothing
his content clearly got cut
There is alot in them too

Yeah he has three in game, then two in books, most notably in War Crimes where he asks him for guidance during the trial where he had to defend Garrosh
blizz just never really knew what to do with him otherwise so they just keep repeating the same plot beat lol
This one give me laught for some reason
Jailer dropped his butt off a building, Thrall shouted "BAINE, NO!" and Anduin healed him. That's the extent of his plot in Shadowlands, besides giving Sylvanas a slightly rude glare.
don't forget Thrall went shopping while Baine's soul was being torn apart lol
This quest man
"Why do people like swords anyway? Too much head. Not enough shaft."
the cursory details feel like pretty much a direct reaction to the absolute meme his character has become
Baine story is poor comedy where he is clown
Baine, the one who sits.
I can only hope they know that he needs actual development and not just "he kills shit then goes back to being the exact same dude"
I mean, MoP gave us the origins of the Tauren. They are descendants of ancient Yaungol.
Okay, here's a good one. What if Baine spoke to the alternate version of Garry Hellscream, who's a Lightbound?
The characters they are pulling in seem kind of important
Bovan was Cairne's like second in command in WC3 I read
Told him of his crimes in this universe, which makes the alternate Garry go "eugh"
Ironhoof was Cairne's close friend
Yeah and the well of eternity changed them in process
Im talking about the one origin about tauren corruption
Wich apparently abandoned
Oi
Is stay awhile quest is available? The new one with black dragon?
What's the tauren boss in the Vault of the Incarnates, again?
He could'a had more lore.
Kurog
Maybe a reason for Baine to fight on the Dragon Isles too.
The Well didn't change them, iirc. They returned to Cenarius and his teachings whilst another tribe went north and became the Taunka
But he is dead

Yeah.
About taurens
Not about their ancestors
Do you think tauren look at cows and go "moo, to you, too, my friend"
For sure
"The tauren here are remarkably resilient to corruption, considering their origins."
Because this quote... Its haunting me
Yeah its from xalathath
Did they not add any worgen monk trainer to gilneas city yet?
Nah
Ah, Xalatath
There a lot of npc missing atm
Take everything a creature of the void says, with a pound of salt
Well i mean
Many quotes from them already came true
Especially the last ones with all datamined things
I wonder if it is because they havnt decided how to do it yet
Because Gilneas was so isolated; would a pandaren be able to get in?
Did you make a worgen monk?
The trainer is likely in the phased starting scenario
I admittedly haven't done the worgen heritage but I thought open world gilneas was still empty
Yeah; I tried making a character and I got to the part where you get to all the trainers
and just no quest or npc
the post only mentioned stormwind (where I also cant find any worgen monks lol)
future build hopefully
Yeah, I hope so.
I know it may be complicated timeline wise but I think they could make it work somehow, they need to be able to play the OG starting zone
tbh they could always just make it like druids, where they have a lesser version prior to leaving the zone
just make it a street brawler
That could always work, though I'm sure theyll just say that a pandaren somehow was in gilneas when the walls were put up or something
the goblin one is literally just
Oh did it say stormwind? I just know I read Kezan for goblins and you never go back there
a woman with bombs on her hands
In the OG instanced starting zone
Draenei monks are taught by a pandaren who just happened to be there
Is that all she said? I just assumed she was taught by a traveling pandaren.
I don't need another monk, but man, goblins are cool
I can go see if her quest says anything else
You'll sometimes get sent to speak to a trainer
Worgen warlocks get sent to their trainer
Guess ill see as I continue
If they dont pop up before I leave Kezan im assuming its a no
Though then there is the question why bother adding one
Non panda monks are already a small minority and goblins will be even rarer
I meant in the cata-era starting zone
Prety cool stuff
I try the new artifact legion account bind (The quest), the M+ recolor is account bind too
I always mix up which ones are 30 dungeons, heroic kj, and other stuff
One day, the same thing for the challenges skin I hope .. (For the 10 RBG xD, done on my main long ago but i'm only playing ret :x)
meta achivement legion dungeon / world boss / M+15 recolor are bind to account now (Sorry, bad english)
Oh, the stupid world boss one. Yeah that one sucked
https://www.wowhead.com/ptr/quest=73108/sending-stone-the-prisoner
So we gonna freed adamanthia and found out wtf has happened
Find a Sending Stone. A level 70 The Forbidden Reach Quest. +350 reputation with Obsidian Warders. Added in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
why blizzard making Neltharion look like he was evil all time...
We don't know how early he began to listen to whispers
Even before he began an aspect
It was in dota
Well he heard them but didnt lissen
Deathwing started talking with the Old Gods on Skype around the time of the War of the Ancients.
we find this next to a frozen adamantia
so uh
idk about freeing her
before that
he was already corrupted by then
But for what he imprisoned her D:
Before it, but not too long. Few hundreds of years.
repost of my image from early of adamantia
Man need to wait for march for full story
probably not
story just isnt on ptr yet
worgen racials non-existant for worgen monks, can't be a proper worgen monk
100% thry will not drop full story

Gotta wonder how worgen will be able to hit with their claws as a monk, without the possibility of afflicting other people.
Wear mittens, pls.
no but probably 80-90%
They added so many currencies... I wonder why.
Is that how it still works? Thought the ritual stopped that aspect alongside their feral ness
I mean the night elf ritual they did
😐
In the tree
That makes it no longer a curse effectively
So I'd imagine it dispelled the spreading nature of it
Unless you drink worgen blood.
You can still drink worgen blood and get afflicted.
Makesense
G’huun was the 5th according to wowpedia
Ghuun not technically an old god
He was an opsie from Titans creations
Bruh
Saw new pages with the same book and its saying that Neltharion was worshiping old gods
Don't have any keys to actually open anything in the Ur vault
Its saying stuff like
"Titans destroyed the Old God empire when they was who truly shaped the world"
Wtf
"First, the Titans recklessly wounded the world, and then insisted that it was allegedly done according to intent. Ridiculous! The old gods are the ones who strengthened the flesh of this world, not the Titans!"
From the book
Sorry it can be different
Its translation from another language
Now i want to see wrathion ptsd from that
Interesting, vault had a side quest today to get a thingy, and now I'm off to ask veritistrasz about it
Ghuun-fake
I'm betting that 5 was Xal'atath
G'huun wasn't imprisoned when the titans showed up
so he wouldn't be the 5th
G'huun came along after the fact, with their experiments into what old gods were
The text is actually the same as this old book from Vanilla https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/The_Old_Gods_and_the_Ordering_of_Azeroth
It's just "annotated" now so the new bit is the note at the bottom
In-Game Book
"The Old Gods and the Ordering of Azeroth" is a section of the History of Warcraft, Chapter I.
Found at:
The Apothecarium of Undercity - near Herbalism trainers
The Domicile section of Blackrock Depths
Darnassus - next to Argent Guard Manados <The Argent Dawn>
The Hall of Explorers in Ironforge.
Menethil Harbor in the Wetlands, ins...
Welp, they put the goblin monk trainer on Kezan but not the Lost Isles so you're stuck after the fist part here
This does confirm a 5th old God tho, seeing as they did not change the text
ive been saying for a while that the 5th old god was killed by the other 4 and its corpse is directly beneath the dragon isles'
and its how theyre going to tie back to that old concept art with the giant shelled squid thing
Well, we have the Black Locus, which whispers to the Player and tells the player to "Seek me underground"
Yeah the problem is
"At some point between 2006-07-21 and 2006-08-28 the number of Old Gods in the in-game version and on the official website was altered from four to five. Some time later, the number of Old Gods was removed from the version on the official website."
And now this is in game again
About five old gods
think theyve been saying 4 + 1 dead one for a WHILE
and people assumed one was ghuun until we learned ghuun isnt a natural old god
its been speculated for a while
and considering nzoth WASNT under the dragon isles
i think something needs to be
Well, it's basically confirmed that there is
There's plenty of hints at weird old god corruption - but particularly that one quest in the west of azure span, right next to the suspicious looking giant blocked cave entrance that is being excavated
I mean, I'm curious as to what remains of nzoth in the black blade is up to if this is leading into a new old god
is he pulling strings to bring back an ally?
a tool?
perhaps What remains is but the body of an old god?
Xalatath's old body
in which case, perhaps the crashed ship with the old god eyes/tentacles is how Nzoth was brought here first
this is sorta my bet
is that nzoth will put himself in the body of a much stronger old god
I mean Tyr had to of learned how to extract his consciousness somehow right?
and we know titans like to learn from observation
especially tyr
the oldest god
also the whole dragon purifying water thing but before they perfected it - isnt that what made galakrond?
just curious as to what the body would be
since obviously they're all similar but
they all shift in terms of their focused body parts
C'thun is a giant eye
Nzoth has tentacles
Yogg is mouths
Y'shaarj was heads, kinda
obv they all have overlap
but in terms of what specifically each one has had primarily
For a long time, they've been teasing Y'shaarj too.
Hold up
So if there fifth old god under dragon isle it mean that THIS old god corrupted waters, not yogg
And blizzard put yogg in book so they will not spoiler about the last old god
i think its more that the other 4 destroyed this god
and the corpse of this old god corrupted the waters in the isles
The thing is
Its saying that water was corrupted AFTER imprisonment of the old gods
I dont think there a corpse of old god
The old gods cannot be killed
They cant die
They can be bannished really hard and probably this what happened
But then its able to return back and make water dirty
Did sha banished from pandaria after that?
after garrosh, yes
Lore wise
yes lore wise
the sha are actually gone
well
they dont come back
and new ones arent made
but like - sha-infused places still need to be cleaned up
Hmmm
Well let see what bliizard up too
Dont think there is a corpse of old god
But there is active old god under isles
I think it's partly a matter of semantics. They can die but they're not strictly gone when that happens, at least not immediately
Their influence hangs on for a long time
plus maybe they can ask malfurion to take their place in the shadowlands for a bit so they can come back
Probably because of this old god Neltharion get into void thing instead of resisting it
But probably he just pist on Titans and what they did, and because of it he get into old gods stuff to just not follow titans lol
Poor black dragonflight
i mean, isn't it implied he "allied" with the old gods because he needed the power to drive back the primalists and imprison the incarnates?
Temple of the Jade Serpent wasn't picked as a dungeon for no reason
They want Sha on the brain
It's why I'm pretty sure we'll get Shado-pan Monastery next even though I hate that place
That’s kinda a stretch but sure I guess, I believe temple was picked because it’s a “fun” short dungeon and the season needed some of those
I love Temple
One of my fave MoP dungeons
oh i do too but most people i've talked to about it don't like it
And the only key I'll do this season
I just don't like Wise Mari. It's an RP fight more than a boss.
The last boss of Stormstout Brewery ain't any better.
"Blizzard should incorporate more RP that you can't skip through. Preferably RP that comes right before the last phase of a mythic boss"
Here's a list of dungeons I'd love in the mythic+ pool:
Shadowfang Keep
Scarlet Halls
Scholomance
Blackrock Depths
Wailing Caverns
The Blood Furnace
Sethekk Halls
Magister's Terrace
Utgarde Keep
Utgarde Pinnacle
Pit of Saron
Lost City of the Tol'vir
Ankahet, the Lost Kingdom
Stormstout Brewery
Shado-Pan Monastery
Skyreach
I'm still not thinking we fight an old god this expansion but could lead into 11.0
I really struggle to think we don't hit the 20 year anniversary without doing light vs void
I don't know, Kyle. They've been teasing the Seat of the Pantheon fading from the sky for a few expansions now. Maybe that could be our lead?
They haven't been teasing it anymore heavily that light and void stuff
Imagine if it faded soon and people start freaking out. Especially Velen.
"The Vindicaar is still not strong enough for another expedition into the Great Dark. We must put our faith in Illidan Stormrage."
"Illidan can't be afraid of the dark he's blind everything is dark for him"
Khadgar: what have you done?
Illidan: I don't know. I can't see shit.
Illidan: Explain it to me. can you use it in a sentence?
I mean even now we can't go back and the tear in the fabric of reality should fade since the power that opened it up continues to burn out
The red star isn't the seat itself, it's the scar of the portal
The Shit of the Pantheon.
I still think while the void isn't good they are necessary. The first ones did intend for all the forces to work as one but that is going to come from mortals who in many ways are the creation of all of them. Life and Death give them souls, order and light gives them drive and purpose, void grounds them in mortality. Chaos is the spark of imagination that order and light lack.
they forgot to put it on the dragon isles
so suffice to say it's gonna stay in the background for a hwile lol
Yes.
sargeras coming back?
no thanks
that was not long enough
give me like 5 more expansions before we ever think of the legion
tbh I doubt Sargeras proper will ever be a thing
still - i dont want anything to do with the legion for a LONG time
the inevitable outcome is probably gonna be Illidan coming back as Sargeras' avatar, but in a symbiotic form because they both acknowledge the greater threat
there are so many things they can still do and create
like the primalists are a wholly new threat
and i like them
I do think there needs to be some demons around somewhere, it's been kind of weird how entirely absent they are post-Legion
New threats can be cool and interesting. If they're not Zovaal.
George the Jailer was not cool enough.
theyre obviously never going to be a big threat again, and they shouldn't
that was about lack of motivation
primalists have solid motivation
revenge on everything the titans have done to their world
there should absolutely still be demon hideouts on Azeroth, remaining scars from the third invasion, pockets of their former servants, etc.
My, Peach. It almost seems like you're rooting for them.
i mean - im all for order, but like - they DO have a point
they were given two choices - conform or be locked up
why was it bad for them to be allowed to live?
there has been no really compelling argument regarding the ordering of the dragons way back when
That's all fair and good, but why are there draenei primalists? This isn't even their world.
a cult is a cult
anyone can be convinced
and in the case of the primalists, they offer power
power is a strong motivator if you are selfish or dont have a cause to believe in
well, they also offer a cause, and the draenei have the least reason to be invested in things as they were
Tauren, night elves, even humans, I can understand being primalists. Orcs are shamanistic by nature. But draenei make no sense to me, despite the fact that they can be shamans.
any anti-dragon draenei would likely sign up, any draenei that thinks the titans are a problem - which if you now know that the titans are the reason your home was destroyed and the legion was formed, you might be against
there are plenty of reasons
like - if you are a draenei who fled your home because of the legion and then found out about how your home planet ALSO had a titan in it
boy are you going to want to make sure that doesnt happen on azeroth
i imagine primalists want to prevent azeroth from ending up like the other titans
Those are fair reasons. Although, you'd expect them to not side against the player character, if given the choice. xD
tbh i think that fits a potential motivation for draenei
we dont give them the choice
we came back with the dragons and the dragons are telling us to kill the primalists
and raszageth is telling the primalists to kill the dragons and us
because she wants revenge
and so do the other primal incarnates
neutrality was never an option
I love being a monk. RPwise, my character would've just went "Let's discuss this. Maybe we can come to understand each other"
Razsageth and Alexstasza were as close as clutch mates. But Razsageth is too much of a raging bitch to talk, I love her for it.
then a dragon tries to eat you when you say this
she was locked up for 20k years
i would be pissed too
Oh yeah, also the stone one, what's his face? Irridikron, or something.
Apparently, he was the hardest incarnate to lock up.
Gotta wonder which incarnate is stronger than him, in that case.
iridikron IS the strongest
You'd expect the fire one to be stronger, normally.
i like the earth strength idea
it reinforces neltharion's strength
yeah i mean wasn't Neltharion the strongest aspect?
Yeah, Earth is often strenght.
Because like Khaz'goroth said, the strenght of the earth is the strenght of the heart, of one within, of the deep places. 😁
Fire is more about destruction.
“My blessing upon you will seem humble compared to those which have been bestowed upon the others: the managing of time, of life, of dreams and magic. I offer you the earth. The soil, the ground, the deep places. But know that the earth is the basis of all things. It is where we are rooted. Where you must come from, if you are to go to. Here is whence true strength comes. From deep places...within the world, and within oneself.”
Earth is strongest element
It was sayed somewhere in game
But they most passive one. In deepholm some of earth elements just sleep
It's amazing how easily a lot of people can be swayed by a cult
I think we have seen essentially every playable race in the primalist forces
Even those without shaman as a class
draenei in the primalists makes as much sense as any other race
we see titanic races on the side of the primalists
and also irl, there's tons of movements where people who aren't directly related to it sign up in support
you could go further and see some going "well sargeras was a titan, and the reason our whole fucking planet became a legion hellhole was because the titans failed in stopping him"
so draenei having an inherent disdain for the titans designs would be easy to justify for some
or atleast not having faith in their vision
because a lot of what the draenei have suffered can be traced back to failures or consequences of the titans actions
not just Sargeras directly but even the orcs
the orcs were an accidentaly byproduct of titan intervention
and they went on to be slaughtered by them
on a planet they have to escape to because a titan was hunting them, and said titan was allowed to roam free because the remaining titans weren't strong enough to stop him.
it's why even as sus as the light is, and even velen acknowledges this
draenei put faith in it as it's the only power that's stuck by them by en large
but ofc even that's put into question by those who were abandoned by it, such as the broken
There's also a few crazies everywhere
well yeah but if we assume that primalists aren't 'crazy' crazy
as they broach valid points, just they take extremist action
and radicalize frustrated people
tbh primalists are probably based on some real life stuff
(I know that's obvious because everything is but I'm just wondering if there's a more direct analogy)
though I am glad to see the story telling going into more grey morality
at its core everyone allies themselves to things that kind of benefit them or align with their interests
you can't expect people to go out of their way to do things truly selflessly
so all these mounting pressures are going to test who's actually selfless and who's in it for personal gain
some may even question their own allegiance
I reckon that's what anduin's up to at the moment
doesn't agree with leading a faction, doesn't feel right for himself when he's questioning if he was truly as selfless as he thought
because even if he thought himself a good man, he's obviously had enemies. Why has he had enemies? Why did he think he enjoyed doing evil things if he was such a good person?
Sabellian also comes to mind. He isn't inherently malicious and is an ally
but wears it like a badge that he's doing everything purely to benefit his own flight
can even be reflected in the rep ranks, where the highest ranks with sabellian are less personal or lesser in terms of 'friendship' than wrathion
Wrathion has done questionable stuff that he needs to be held accountable for in some manner, but his heart is truly selfless at core as he thought he was the last of his kind
there's a lot of selfish vs selfless playing off of characters within the same faction
Nozdormu is very set on delaying his transformation in Murozond, something that could be seen as selfish as it's self benefitting. But is surrounded by people like Chromie who would lay down their lives to stop it, that being selfless
oh boy
newest post
i love this
the idea that azeroth WASNT her name?
thats amazing
Sounds like a base
wut?
i don't think they mean Azeroth but rather Kalimdor and what it was called before that
its definitely azeroth
oh wait
hmmm
ok
i cant read
still neat though
it literally states...okay
i was about to say lol
pretty sure when they were like "you'll know who the bad guys are by the end of 10.0" i feel like the titans are the real bad guys and everything coming out is just helping nail that down
pretty sure the bad guys are the inkarnates
and either murozond is a side boss, or he will be the trigger for 11.0
i hope the second
yes
I don't think the titans are the bad guys
I think this is the bad guys the jailer mentioned and also nzoth
like the guys beyond them
Titans/old gods are evil/good depending on how you look at them morally
I would say from our characters mortal perspective, the old gods are "evil", but in many ways the titans are too
but the culture and way our races interact with the world are more aligned with how the titans do things/ order things, though I would say we are coming around to realize that while we may appreciate more of what the titans do versus the old gods, they still aren't saints
and I think that's kind of where blizz is going, the 6 forces can be evil and good, morally grey really, depending on the characters involved and their intentions
though, I think that the 7th force is this force that the jailer and nzoth are referring to
or at least, the beings related to the 7th force outside of the titans perspective
I think 11.0 will be the reveal of that. I think 10.0 will be light/void with yrel as well as the 5th old god and nzoth coming back again, and this will lead into finding this new set of beings the jailer is talking about, with maybe azeroth awakening in the epilogue patch of 10.0
leading into 11
iirc Zorbrix said they were looking into it
@TheRisenZed @WorldofMoudi @WarcraftDevs This is on our radar! We're digging into why this happening, no fix yet though.
Nice, thanks
show me yshaarj
Yeah, if we're supposed to know the end boss in 10.0.7 so far only Iridikron makes sense from that stuff
If 10.1 deals with fire guy, ice one is in the mega dungeon, 10.2 is our infinite side plot, and 10.3 we finish the primalists but Iridikron wakes an old god as a last ditch effort before croaking
But wait, instead of threatening us, the old god goes "you need my help"
I'm still pretty sure we team up with the void against the new army of the light at some point
i dont think this thread it coming for 1-2 more expacs
i wouldnt be surprised if next expac is either "timey wimey stuff" or is some brand new continent with totally new lore ala Pandaria
It's 20 year. They're gonna do something big and core thematic
But will be funny if we will ally with old gods to stop future threat
20 year what?
2024 will be 20 years for wow yeah
u literally made me lookat my calender i thought it was 2024 and i was tripping @crystal pond
If Blizzard can keep to a 6 month patch cadence then we should be getting 11.0 shortly after the big 20 year anniversary Blizzcon
Blizzcon this year will likely announce 10.3 and 11.0 10.2 will have been on the ptr by that point
I suppose we could get a worst case scenario and there is no 10.3 and we are prepped for a late summer 11.0
Df not even out that long and u guys already talking abt that
well it's fun trying to speculate where the story is taking us
All the forces are evil for the opposite forces, because they are all enforcing their views on thing upon everything they cross.
Stupid example : If you cross a lion and the lion kill someone who like, you'll flag him as evil, but the Lion was just either protecting his territory or killed to feed himself. Is it evil though, like really evil ? nope.
The big bad is not one of the force, but someone who will try so sway the forces to his / her side. That's why the Jailer said " A cosmos divided blablabla " . As long as the cosmos can't stand united against that future threat, it'll be complicated to " win "
And we're entering SC2 legacy of the void with the Amon stuff path.
Remember that there is also the Murozond stuff that is supposed to happen when " the timeline converges " so , somehow, this event will make Nozdormu turns. And since there will be only ONE timeline, Nozdormu know that once he become Murozond, he will never be able to change the remaining timeline which will apparently be fixed.
This could explain why he will turn into his infinite counterpart. Instead of trying to change a predeterminate future once it has come to pass, he'll go into the past to change stuff that will prevent this predeterminate future from happening, creating endless timeline and trying to threw things into chaos, which, in the end, will favor Nzoth.
I'm kinda expecting the Avaloren land mentionned in Odyn's lore in Uldaman to be a place where several forces minions are living in relative " harmony ". Some dissident Order construct, Old gods minions, demons and stuff. Which will explain why Odyn labelled them as Heretics and was sure that they will all end up killing each others.
Thousands of years ago, Prime Designate Odyn sent three unsuccessful expeditions there in order to pursuit a group of "heretics" to answer for their crimes against Innaria and other Titan keepers. The wreckage of the third expedition was found by Watcher Perethales in the shores of Kalimdor, who was afraid a fourth expedition would be sent to their demise. Perethales stated that the "heretics" defenses were too strong and trying to attack them would jeopardize the prisoners in the keepers' charge. Instead, Perethales suggested to wait for them to turn on each other, as it was in their nature to do so.
That would also explain why the sea are name " Veiled sea " or " Forbiding sea " (if Avaloren is located on Azeroth's other side ), if Odyn's edicts forbid people to go there. Mythos would then be created stating that those seas are perilous and shouldn't be explored and the rest is history
Neltharion stood here in front of the holograms and imagined himself as a hero 💀
I
Cant
That's so sad 😦
Its so funny, so cringe and so sad
It just shows how much he was going crazy
I mean, he sacrificed everything to protect Azeroth no? He even made a deal with the old gods to contain the greatest threat she faced up to that point. I mean was it smart? No but he felt it was he’s only move and desperation makes people do stupid things
Also there is note from Neltharion when he saying about that something was hiding beneath waves
Hitting it wasnt an old god
Or maybe it was old god who knows
There is also the " New Avalon " which is the DK starting Area. Implying there was an Avalon ( Avaloren ? ) at some point? And this area is filled with Tyr's lore anyway with the name of the towns around... could it be located in the eastern seas?
pretty sure thats nzoth
since thats the old god that corrupted neltharion
but it could be the weird squid thing from OG dragon isles art
But it can't be. Before the Sundering Nzoth's prison was not beneath the waves, he was locked somewhere in a titan's facility, and even if that prison was beneath the sea, it was probably known by Neltharion's and Tyr's anyway
im fairly sure the dragons had VERY limited knowledge of the old gods before the sundering
If that is so, Nzoth was still not " hiding " beneath the wave since he was very much locked up
We can argue semantic thought, you can be also right, but since this particular topic has already been dealt with, I'm not sure if this Neltharion's writing is mentioning Nzoth's anyway. Time will tell 🤷
definitely not sooner
tons of content to test that isnt even in yet
we need more builds
new vault
so looks like they reset daily (maybe not intentional) and the vaults themselves rotate every few days

Oooh
Ptrs are down

Hello everyone. Here is this week’s update to the 10.0.7 PTR: CLASSES DEATH KNIGHT Frost Remorseless Winter has been removed from the talent tree and now learned at level 19. Might of the Frozen Wastes has been removed from the talent tree and now learned at level 25. Frostreaper has been removed from the talent tree and now learned at le...
mostly class changes
build out
new achievements for extra forbidden reach side content
may well be new stuff available
my PTR is apparently on 47983?
Maybe that's an older hotfix
Seems to be letting me in though
guessing the vault resets weekly then
bloody hell that's a lot of elemental overflow
but also worth it
furbolg stuff might be in, just got the quest starter for it in the mail
tbf, it drops from everything in the reach
Yeah, 2-300 per rare
although saving up 75k is gonna be hard with the gambling bags
very similar to timeworn isle ones
1k each, give probably 5-600 average back, chance of gear token, grey items, vault keys, and rarer stuff (I got another pet from it)
sometimes give almost 3k
sometimes give 3
furbolg stuff is sort of in
there's a couple quests, I'm now neutral
there's a repeatable thingy to get a drop from primalist enemies in the span, levels up the language skill
but not sure if its working, I still can't understand any of the furbolg text
oh it goes up to 100
and I'm only at 4
or at least there's an achi at 100 that also gives you teh ability to use it as a chat language
My guess is it’s supposed to be 7.5k
Extra zero
Especially since it’s a pet not a mount
what the f-
I did get 800 off a bigger rare right now
75k for a reskin is a crime
looks like they updated the loot icon
ah yeah they did update it

411 for a required ring
hope they allow JC to make an item to add Primordial sockets to other rings
411 kinda low
No secondaries either yet
follow up quest to get a jewelers kit
which.. doesn't seem to unlock anything
There was a quest to turn 3 vault keys into 6, but it took all my keys instead of just 3 so I lost some overall :(
Hmmmmmmmm
Makes sense, fits with underground stuff
The whole vault/forbidden reach is neltharion stuff too, once all the lore quests work I'm sure we'll have more clues
|| whispers: bring back Neltharion pls ||
Still wonder what under dragon isles
100% something that will be a reveal for dragons that "titans suck"
Because its clear that for now dragons still following titans
Maybe it's their obsession with order and designing everything in their image.
Azeroth, before the Old Gods and the Titans, was ruled by elementals.
i found a thing
Wow, a thing!
so uh - other than the ring with primordial sockets being in
i dont think they made any changes
and i cant even find any of the world chests with the keys to test the vault
nvm i found one
i stand corrected - artifacts are in>
nothing in it
does seem like at least the start of the winterpelt stuff is in
its a daily
do worgen monks work
literally wowhead had an article YESTERDAY dude
Damn, sorry bruh
Don't worry he just acts like he owns the joint
oh good an explanation of primordial stones
"Greetings!
We’d like to shed some light on the specifics of the feature surrounding Primordial Stones and how they work.
By questing in 10.0.7, you’ll unlock the Zskera Vaults, which is a solo instanced dungeon with some fun puzzles to solve. As you venture through, you’ll acquire the Onyx Annulet ring and a bunch of Primordial Stones that can be socketed into it. These stones have trinket-like effects, and some also work together to create some spicy combinations.
When it comes to acquiring these:
The Zskera Vaults are where you get Primordial Stones, and can be accessed with keys that you’ll receive from rares and chests across the Forbidden Reach.
The keys will be Bind On Account, so you can get your alts into the Zskera Vaults easily.
You can crush your Primordial Stones into fragments which can be repurposed into an item to upgrade your favorite stones (through your local Jewelcrafter).
You can use these fragments to purchase newer stones from Researcher Imareth. While you can’t buy specific stones, they come in families, so you’ll be able to target the Stones you want.
Primordial Stones can be unsocketed from the Annulet.
Our intent here is to minimize random outcomes so that you can customize and experiment with your Onyx Annulet, similar to the Mechagon Trinket (the Pocket-Sized Computation Device). Being able to upgrade your favorite Stones will also increase the item level of the ring up to 424, allowing its power to scale up in a deterministic way.
Of course, given its maximal item level, we expect that you’ll replace it with something better in Dragonflight Season 2.
Thank you for reading. We’re excited to see what you do with them, and how you feel when you get your hands on these!
"
honestly - im okay with this
max ilvl of 424, semi-deterministic stone stuff, and with no stamina or stat stuff, its likely people will happily replace it in S2
would prefer if it only worked in outdoor content(if it ends up being too good to ignore)
You can already complete current content without the ring therefor it is it not a requirement and just an item that acts as a soft nerf to the game
It can't be that strong if blizzard is sure 26 ilvls (on a ring haha) are enough to force you to upgrade
It has no secondaries
and the procs don't seem that good
and if for some reason the procs are that good, I expect it'll be nerfed into the ground
it wouldn't surprise me if some classes don't even want it over a mythic dathea ring
no secondaries AND no stamina (i think)
or at least a bad amount of stamina
its an extra trinket slot
and it isnt competitive
it had regular amounts of stamina, I think
Does anyone know if the warden transmog - https://www.wowhead.com/news/earn-the-trading-posts-special-reward-12-times-for-warden-transmog-331091
will be night elf specific, as in we can only use it on that race?
i know there's not a lot of info but maybe someone knows something
It won't be night elf only, because that would feel like too little of a reward for an entire year of grinding miscellaneous achievements.
That's my assumption as well, but you never know with this game
There was an interview put out on wowhead yesterday, in it one of the devs clarified it is a cosmetic item for all classes and races
👍🏻
Imagine the outrage if it was exclusive to night elves
Blizz: Don’t you guys have night elves?!
humans and non DH night elves are the only alliance races I'm missing
is this a bug
Yes, the new hair colors don’t have eyebrows linked up yet
So like
Ptr still little empty (there no 2 main content)
And 10.0.7 has to be launched in march...
has to be launched in march?
isn't it all the forbidden reach stuff and vault stuff?
also tbf the start of spring is march 20th so they still have a whole month to get it out for the start of spring
Yeah
Because 10.1 will be launched in may
Or even in april
Its forbiden reach
Fulborgs
And taurens with centaurs questline
and half of forbidden reach is even not there yet
i mean content
To you
But officially its 1th march
I’d go with there the business is located when they use terms of Summer/fall and whatnot
Honestly we probably have like 3 more months of season 1
So 10.1 probably early june/late may
I’d guess late may tho
For who its official??
uh...the northern hemisphere
Where did you get this info?
THis isnt a major patch, it's got a lot for a mid-patch lol
Ok
whole zone worth of rares, a vault-delving activity, an optional power upgrade for content, a reputation to grind, seemingly some pretty big plot encrypted
I've already Googled about the whole topic x)
There are 2 dates for the beginning of spring – one meteorological, the other astrological. And astrological starts at 20th march
Huh this is fascinating. The first day of spring for the Southern Hemisphere, is September 23rd
yes cause they are opposite of us
xD No
Yeah
winter for us is summer for them
#ThingsINeverKnew
I can drop a site for this x)
My guy, just take the L xD
Dude like
We both right at the end lol
i'd say this is the meteorological definition of spring
uh strange
The whole topic
Its about winter but still
i mean he's not wrong. apparently meterorologists consider spring starting on march 1st
Its astronomical excuse me
but meteorologists are wrong about a lot of things so
Its ok for them to be wrong. I mean, their wrong about the weather half the time and keep their jobs
like "it's not gonna rain today"
"Its not gonna be cold today"
"Its gonna be bright and sunny! Go enjoy the beach!" *Hurricane outside"
But nature is unpredictable all time so you cant blame them becauss wind just "okay, you know what, i was going to west, now im going to south"
Nah, always blame the weather guy x3
But know we all now there two dates for seasons
but for real, Australian preorder stuff used to get me alot whenever i'd preorder some for winter and i'm sitting here in december confused
turns out i'd have to wait for MY summer to get their winter stuff
That sucks(((
meh, at least i understand it now lol
When you writed about that spring starts in 20th march, the first thought i got was "wdym its start in late april... Oh wait"

or what do u guys speculate
